    Explore range hood features

  • Samsung range hoods are typically available in two standard sizes measured by the width of the hood.

30-inch range hoods are designed for standard 30-inch cooktops and ranges.

36-inch range hoods are built for coverage of wider cooking surfaces and larger kitchens.

The hood size should match or slightly exceed your cooktop width for proper ventilation coverage.

  • Samsung range hoods are designed with different ventilation power levels depending on the model, typically reaching up to 630 CFM to help move air efficiently while cooking.

CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) refers to how much air the hood can move in one minute. A higher CFM generally means stronger airflow for removing smoke, odors, and grease.

    • Lower CFM: light cooking, smaller kitchens

    • Higher CFM: heavy cooking, larger kitchens or open layouts

Samsung models let you choose the airflow level that fits your kitchen setup.

  • The CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) rating of Samsung range hoods varies by model and often ranges from 200 to 630 CFM depending on the type and ventilation setup.

    • Entry-level models: about 200 CFM

    • Standard wall or under-cabinet models: around 390 to 600 CFM

    • High-performance models: up to 630 CFM

The CFM rating helps you understand the ventilation strength when choosing a hood for your kitchen size and cooking style.

  • The Triple Air Sensor is a smart range hood feature that helps monitor and manage kitchen air quality as you cook.

It uses sensors to detect air pollution levels and can automatically adjust the hood’s fan speed to help improve airflow in your kitchen. Smart Mode can also turn the hood on or off based on changes in air quality, helping keep air in the kitchen fresher with less manual control needed.

  • Samsung range hoods are designed to operate at different noise levels depending on fan speed and model, with sound measured in decibels (dBA).

On higher ventilation settings, some models are around 70 dBA, which is comparable to typical conversation or background kitchen noise. Lower settings are quieter and are designed for light cooking or simmering. The noise level of your range hood may change based on several factors:

    • Fan speed setting (higher settings create more sound)

    • Installation and duct setup

    • Cooking intensity and airflow needs

    Shop low-noise range hoods

  • Samsung range hood accessories can help with setup, airflow control and routine maintenance so your hood keeps working smoothly.

    • Charcoal filters are used in ductless or recirculating setups to help trap odors and grease before air is released back into the kitchen.

    • Recirculation kits convert select hoods for ductless use when external venting is not available.

    • Replacement grease filters capture cooking grease and are designed to be cleaned or replaced regularly.

    • Chimney or duct extension kits help adjust installation height for different kitchen layouts.

Shop range hood accessories compatible with your model for simpler installation and upkeep.

  • The lifespan of your Samsung range hood can vary based on cleaning habits, installation quality and cooking frequency. Keeping filters clear and ensuring proper airflow can help support long-term performance.
  • The prices of Samsung range hoods vary based on several factors including size (30-inch or 36-inch), model, finish, features and airflow capacity. Standard under cabinet hoods tend to be priced more accessibly while premium and Bespoke range hoods are typically more expensive.
