I'm very disappointed with the new galaxy watch4 (I have the classic) the battery is almost a joke, if Samsung wanted to keep the weight and price down and supplied a smaller battery then they should've at least enabled rapid charge, 2 hours is too long to charge your watch every 24 hours, it's like going back to the prehistoric days when you had to charge your phone every day, it shouldn't be that way the whole idea of a watch is that you keep it on not try and juggle when you get the time to charge it so you can wear it I really like the watch BUT am so disappointed with the battery. I like the features that is the ONLY reason why I'm not sending it back. BUT I am so disappointed.

I jumped from Active Watch to Galaxy Watch4. It feels like a downgrade. I lost so many apps in this shift. Apps like ECG, Bloodpreasure and Samsung Pay do not work in MENA region! Technically I paid double the cost of Active Watch for nothing. Same 40mm size between both watches do not look or feel the same. Galaxy Watch is literally a watch, it looks nice and slick but bulky in comparison to Active Watch. The lateral is heavy duty and more practical; I barely feel it on my hand while sleeping. Screen active parts in Galaxy Watch is definitely more satisfying. Sensitivity of screen is much better, also. As of battery life, Galaxy Watch4 wins in my case. Unless Samsung fix the compatibility and activation Apps issues ASAP, watch replacement is a must.

Got the Watch 4 and it's great. Works with my phone seamlessly. Either the people whinging about the battery have received duds or they didn't charge it properly before turning it on for the first time to condition the battery. Lowest mine has gone in a day is 70%. Can add a lot of apps including those from competitors like Spotify and Google Pay. Even works quite well when responding to messages via the watch.

I have had the watch 4(44mm) for about a week. Everything has worked flawlessly, I have the Galaxy s21 5g Ultra phone. The health app is pretty accurate and has many features. Blood pressure will only read if you first calibrate with external meter first but this is not important for me. Workouts, so far have been tracked accurately. I can receive and make calls, read and respond to messages including Phone messages, WhatsApp, Messenger. Receive, read and reply to my emails using outlook which is installed on the watch. Google pay is installed also. Spotify works well or you can store music on the watch and listen without the need for third party apps. Lots of customisable watch faces including ones that you can use your own image on. The watch looks great with a clear and bright screen. I have been using the watch more than I would normally as it's a new toy and battery lasts about 1.5 days. I am very happy with this watch.

Bought it for wife at Xmas, battery never lasted more than 24 hours, sent back twice, new batteries twice still exactly the same, trying to get a refund but no chance as they can't find anything wrong.... Try looking at your specifications SAMSUNG, It doesn't meet them!! Not fit for purpose!!

I bought this watch about a month ago now and I had read reviews which had me skeptical about the battery life. I should have listened to other reviewers. The watch itself is awesome, but it doesn't last barley even a day. I can have a fully charged watch at 6am when I start my day and it's dead before 10 pm which defeats the purpose of wearing it all day and to bed for sleep tracking like I did with my fitbit. I loved the fitbit bc it lasted more than 2 days. I read up on everything Samsung suggested to extend battery life and I barley use it for anything. I don't call people or text or check other aps on it and it still dies. I even turned off the motion to view watch screen and set the brightness to the lowest level. It really doesn't last at all. It's not functional unless you enjoy taking your watch off 2x's a day to charge it. And I am on the go all day so I don't get an accurate step count bc I have to take it off to charge it. All in all I am highly disappointed in this purchase. I have always liked Samsung but sad this watch is so dysfunctional.
