Linda GB • 10 reviews 3 days ago Rated 1 out of 5 stars Disgusting customer service and quality of product We bought a gas glass cooker hob with the 4 cast iron pan stands on top from Samsung direct. We have had this less than a year and the black coating on the pan stands has started flaking off and it was an orange colour underneath. We phoned Samsung Customer Service and had to email photos of the damage to the pan stands. We were advised they would contact us within 48 hours. This did not happen. Phoned them again and were advised that the damage was rust and that it was not something they would rectify. We could purchase new stands. We advised them we were not happy as how was this our fault that their product was poor quality, The rust was underneath the cast iron grates and therefore of poor quality when ourchased This was referred higher but they would not budge. Absolutely disgusted with the customer service and quality of the product. We bought from Samsung as thought they were a reputable company, but would never purchase anything again.

In all honesty I could not be more disappointed with this hob. My kitchen has all Samsung appliances (fridge/freezer, oven, washer, microwave, extraction) and of course the hob. What a let down! It scratches so so badly I always make sure I use a special microfibre cloth but it still scratches, it’s impossible to get it to be streak free, nothing makes it look nice and also near enough all of the markings have come off, thankfully I know which dial is for which burner! Samsung I’m sorry but I feel like I wasted my money - feel free to contact me to discuss further Samsung why I’m not happy.

Scratches and marks easily and symbols worn off even though cleaned as instructed in manual and only soft cloth used. I have emailed customer support and only had automated response. No one has got back to me.

After 3 years of using two gas knob valves stop working . You can not turn it to open a valve run a gas. Spare valve cost around £59 each. Stainless steel surface is horrible as you can see all marks. Never again

Had this for 12 months now. Still find the cast iron grates do not support saucepans very well. This leads to instability and is dangerous when the saucepans are full of hot liquid. Never leave the hob when boiling using saucepans. Frying pan also is unstable so have to hold handle when using.
