Bought this to replace an older Siemens induction hob. It should have been a straight drop in, to existing cutout in worksurface . But it's not. It may be slimline but the internals under the hob glass have been pushed to the edges of the hob such that it hits the front frame of a standard base unit and forces the hob to sit proud at the front by about 6/7mm. Note I have a 40mm worksurface. This meant I had to take hammer and chisel to cut out part of the frame to allow the hob to sit flush. Also why supply the hob with a 5 core cable, a three phase supply is not standard uk domestic we are one phase supply. It makes bridging the cables a bit of a squeeze. However once installed the hob is actually really good. Its so much more powerful than the old hob and extended zone at the top left side is more than sufficient for most basting dishes So apart from the installation I think it is a good hob. I've not tried connecting it to the app, dont see the point it doesn't do anything useful

Great features, pause, boost, wifi etc. Other well known brands are a lot more expensive that offer the functions of this product. I am using Samsung home appliances for years and will continue to use them, top class reliable products.

Nice looking induction hob. Easy to clean and safe to use ( main reasons for switching from gas). The electrician was impressed as well as it was easy to install and had all the accessories. I would say the smart features are not really that smart. However the fact that it can turn on the hood it's impressive enough for me. Boils water really fast and doesn't seem to use a lot of energy to do it (compared to a kettle for example).
I recommended this product.
