Website says this oven can cook with natural steam. It cannot. I brought 2 of these and now they are installed and I find this out. Pay very close attention to the description and everything in the photos this oven doesn’t do. * on selected ovens but not a single one of these features is on this £800!! Oven. I knew this btw when I brought it but it did pacifically say it comes with steam function. Well, it doesn’t. Oh and both arrived with damaged divider trays and one came with a damaged pyrolytic lock meaning I can’t use it for the next 18 days till they come fix it.

One of, if not one of the worst instruction manuals I have ever come across. The manual tries to cover the many variants of this product which also adds a lot of confusion. Rather than taking the purchaser one step at a time through the accessories of their particular variant and then take them step by step through the control panel and the functions there are high level generic statements which requires the purchaser to proceed on a trial and error basis. This results in a very frustrating and lengthy introduction to the product which massively detracts from the pleasure of the purchase. Oven makes banging noise as soon as you turn it on. I bought it direct from Samsung hoping that if anything goes wrong I will have good customer service and they will sort any issues out without any problem. However, I can't believe the absolutely rubbish customer service from Samsung. They have been asking me to do tests, send videos, transferring me from one department to other while I am unable to cook food and I am forced to waste my time on calls and tests. This is not a fault that developed over time. It came on as soon as the oven was switched on for the first time. So, it's a faulty product and any other company would have sorted it straight away but not Samsung. Since it's a brand new product and came faulty, I would expect them to either send a replacement or send an engineer to look at and resolve. Order no. UK240406-22289799

The best part about it is it can cook for, that's about it to be honest. The middle divider shelf Is so sensitive if you knock any of the shelves it errors and the oven turns off The rails on the side are a nightmare, the shelves get stuck in them where you can't push them in or pull them out, then when you finally get them in the middle shelf pops out and the error causes the ovenn to shutdown. Bleeps to tell you it's hot even after you open the door and put stuff in a little annoying but not the end of the world. Wouldn't buy this oven again, we have had it since 2023 and we are swapping it when we get a new kitchen.

Pros: Easy to control with the smarthings app, can ask Alexa/Google home to control it e.g. turn oven on to 180C Large oven space Good oven cooking options e.g. fan + grill, top and bottom heat Dual cook flex works well, cook with different temps in the 2 spaces. Cook with only top or bottom section for energy saving. Cons: Touch controls not backlit, makes them difficult to see in low light Clock does not stay set ( I have reported this and Samsung are going to repair) Only one tray and one rack included Not convinced oven temp is accurate, I need to either add extra time on or increase temp by 10 degrees for me to be happy the food is cooked compared to recipe supplied times. Timing notification sounds can not be configured, rather loud and overlong notification tunes are the default. Would be better if they could be adjusted to just play once or twice and have control of the volume.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! Mine had to be services EVERY SINGLE 6 months, the board, then the heating element, then it started stripping electricity, been serviced in July, once the warranty was gone, in September the oven stopped working AGAIN, the oven stopped working, booked an engineer to fix and they cancelled as they state its beyond repair. Spent more than £600 which didn't last long. AVOID SAMSUNG IN GENERAL IF YOU DON'T WANT HEADACHE AND YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!

The oven looks great and the dual oven option is what attracted me. Unfortunately sometimes the more functions and technology the more difficult these things become to operate whereby it's no longer a simple process of just switching something on which is often all you want to do. The manual provided in the box is extremely basic and useless. You have to search online for the manual but unfortunately Samsung can't be bothered to provide a manual specific to each oven but instead provide a generic one covering different types of ovens with different functions, different trays etc so you don't always know whether the instructions you are reading relate to your oven or not or if it even has the function. I spent the good part of an hour trying to switch on the grill with no luck only to find out by calling the support line that the grill door needs to be shut when grilling (which seems very odd to me as you are then oven cooking), so whereby I would quickly push a frying pan under the grill to say cook the top of an omelette I can no longer do so because of the handle. The option of grilling and oven cooking at the same time was what especially appealed as this is something you cannot do in a standard single oven which I often struggled with. There is also no grilling pan provided and I think the expectation is that you place the food directly on the wire rack which is quite widely spaced so you may lose a sausage or two if you are not careful. I also assume the dividing plate would act then as the drip tray but could be wrong? The functions on the screen do not light up and as my model is black I can't read the functions without shining a torch and finding my glasses first which is often frustrating. The internal light switches off after a couple of minutes, I understand it's a cost saving feature but I do find it annoying and would rather it stayed on throughout the cooking process so that I don't have to hunt for my glasses and torch again to find the light symbol. The oven will play a melody at certain points I believe, so for example when it have finished preheating and reached the desired temperature but I can't seem to find a way to silence the sound which otherwise continues playing incessantly and customer support only could give me instructions as to turn off the alarm feature permanently which I will need to do. I haven't used the pyrolytic cleaning as just purchased but this does seem like a great feature.

Firstly this oven is very good! I bought a previous model back in 2021 but infortunately after 6months of use the top fan stopped working so i called samsung and an engineer came and fitted a new fan and element which then worked up until this jan 2024! After contacting samsun an engineer visted my home took a look at the oven and not only saw the fan had stopped he noticed rust at the back on the screw heads and rust along the back bottom of the oven as well as round the seal on the oven where the door closes! So my oven was reported as unrepairable! So now i have a replacement sent from samsung and i have an upgraded model which is slightly different! It still has pyrolytic cleaning which i love! BUT then i noticed that the side rails do not have the sliding runners which i miss and if knew this i would have taken my side runners of my old oven and swapped over! I did notice i only got 1 shelf but two different size baking trays. I normal size like my old one and a much deeper one which i thought was great BUT no wire rack insert like my old one! If i knew i would have kept back my old tray and rack! So i'm looking in to buying another sied rack with double sliding runners and replacing myself. I will then still need 2 wire rack inserts for the baking trays! I did not know there was wifi built in the oven which is a nice touch but not sure i will ever use that? My washing machine gets more wifi use as theres more settings/programs on the app than the washer itself! The oven is nicer looking than my previous dual cook split door. The glass is darker and the handle is nice and modern. The knobs where a bit of a disappointment as there permanently out where as my previous model you could push the knobs in when not in use and push out when using..Also when i got my previous model in the box there where 2 small metal handles that you used to lift the oven out of the box and move it in to the built in cabinet and i also needed these handles when the engineer came to lift the oven out. Now this new model did not have any handles in the box? There is holes in the side of the oven where the handles would slot in and it tkaes 2 guys to lift the oven as its heavy... My new model was hard to get out of the box and move it to the kitchen then after wiring the electric cable it had to to be lifted to the built in cabinet... I did see 2 cut outs on each side but was reluctant to shoving my fingers or hand in to use to lift the oven as on one side there was silver heat resistant material close to the hole which i could have punctured or pushed in towards the ovens insides and i did not want to damage the oven.. One the other is of the hole there was another sheet of metal so your fingers or hand could not go in enough to use to lift the oven? So it makes sense for samsung to provide the same small metal handles my previous oven had and i was going to keep my old handles but the guy sent to deliver my new oven had to take my old one and he asked for the handles?! So its obvious samsung provide these with there ovens.. But i did not get any? After all this what i have said i have to say the oven besides all these faults and errors the oven is fantastic! I was offered a full refund or replacement! I'm glad i got the replacement as its a nice 76litre so its big inside.. The functions all work as my previous one and the pyrolitic cleaning is 100% i'd not be without it! everything gets burnt to ash and the oven is wiped down good as new! So apart from no carry handles to install the oven,, no sliding shelf rack,, no wire rack inserts for the trays,, the control knobs don't push in,,The oven is excellent!!

The feature panel is very difficult to read - it is not illuminated and the instruction icons on not easy to understand. The instruction manual does not explain clearly the difference between the cook settings,i.e. grill, convection. top mode. Is it necessary to have a wi fi connection to operate this oven? I would recommend with resrvations as the dual oven fearture is good

Bought this because the dual oven seemed a really good idea. The oven works well, but I was very disappointed with the lack of accessories. Incredibly it only comes with one shelf and no grill pan! This isn't at all clear from the information on AO's or Samsung's websites. I complained to Samsung and they were totally unsympathetic. It is possible to buy another genuine shelf, but it will cost around £25. Samsung don't seem to make a dedicated grill pan and handle, like we are used to in the UK. Generic grill pans are available, but they are just that.

Oven itself is great, when it's working, but it's often not. I have had nothing but problems with this oven since purchase, requiring it to be repaired 5 times in 18 months. The PCB has been replaced every time and the same fault codes show every time. It's clearly a design flaw or something that isn't being diagnosed properly by Samsung. Each time I have had a warranty repair I have had to wait between one and two weeks for repair without an oven to use. Samsung say they will continue to repair the oven for the duration of the 5 year warranty but will not replace it, which is incredibly frustrating after sales service as every few months I have to suffer the inconvenience of not being able to cook for my family. Cannot recommend at all.

My main concern is that the controls are not back lit. They are difficult to read but well laid out when you get used to them. We like the oven and it has been reliable so far and produces good results. All the features are impressive and the price was good.

The dual flex door is poorly designed and doesn't allow for glass cleaning. The instruction manual says to use a tissue on a stick with some detergent. Never going to work. I returned the oven for the single door version which is great.

The oven is fabulous and love the dual cook mode, heats up fast etc. The problem i have is as per instructions I removed the side runners to use the self clean and they are impossible to put back in- i have spent over 90 min speaking to support, video calls etc and all they can do is look at the same useless manual. To get an engineer is chargable. But this is a design fault.

I bought this oven almost 6 months ago and I am delighted with my purchase. The dual cook is a game changer. The pre-heating time is considerably reduced. I rarely need the whole oven, but it is nice to have the option if needed. I was worried that food wouldn’t get evenly cooked when getting heat only from the up or bottom but it is not an issue at all. To mention a feature that can be improved, the SmartThings app is not great and I gave up trying to set it up.

Oven makes banging noise as soon as you turn it on. I bought it direct from Samsung hoping that if anything goes wrong I will have good customer service and they will sort any issues out without any problem. However, I can't believe the absolutely rubbish customer service from Samsung. They have been asking me to do tests, send videos, transferring me from one department to other while I am unable to cook food and I am forced to waste my time on calls and tests. This is not a fault that developed over time. It came on as soon as the oven was switched on for the first time. So, it's a faulty product and any other company would have sorted it straight away but not Samsung. Since it's a brand new product and came faulty, I would expect them to either send a replacement or send an engineer to look at and resolve. Order no. UK240406-22289799

Absolutely terrible oven. Less than 1 year old and takes forever for the grill to heat up to a mediocre temperature. Barely glowing at all and couldn’t toast a crumpet to saves its life. The war in the Middle East will be resolved quicker than this oven heats up. It also shuts off whenever the door is left open for more than 15 seconds. Connectivity to the app is embarrassingly poor. Buyer beware. Source: passionate cook with high IT knowledge.

Appalling. The oven itself actually cooks well but the interface seems to have been designed by someone who has never cooked. As examples, the features panel is not backlit but the buttons are small and almost impossible to read without a backlight; the cooking process is viewed as if one is setting and running a computer programme; adjusting anything started, even temperature, is difficult and requires multiple clicks (what was wrong with a simple dial?); the light doesn’t stay on; the oven forgets the current time if it is turned off; the display flashes constantly if the divider is in place; there is nowhere to store the divider when not in use; heating stops once the timer ends and one needs to reset the programme; grill only operates if the door is shut; oven turns off if a door is left open too long when checking food; the oven emits endless irritating beeps in operation; etc.; etc. — I could go on and on, there is a litany of problems with the UI. It's a shame because the dual oven feature is a good idea in principle and the oven is effective but it is just so utterly hateful to use and hence live with. Also, why would a dual oven only come with one wire tray and no grill pan? Shockingly these fundamental elements of a cooker are considered to be optional extras and will require a separate purchase! Regret buying this device, so cannot possibly recommend.

Very early days yet, but seems to be a great oven. Loving gadgets, as I do, I like the SmartThings app. But, for my wife (who hates tech), the dials are just as easy to use. The blue interior looks stunning and I like the embedded silver particles, which are apparently for its antibacterial properties. As I said, we've only had it a week, but very happy so far.

Moved over from a popular german branded oven to this and couldn't be happier. So much more functionality, I find it easier to use and I love the split oven feature. I have usually had Samsung phones and tablets as well as their fridges, so good to know they are carrying through with the quality on ovens as well.

The oven was amazing ... until after less than a year , I ran the pyrolytic feature. After that the oven does not heat properly, all recipes take 3 times longer to cook, a real let down.

This oven looks good and is great to use. Great value for money. Having the ability to set the two halves at different temperatures is fantastic. The way the door splits in half is also helpful as you can open the top without disturbing the bottom. We have used it for nearly a year now and we have no complaints apart from one. The only real setback for us is the "SMART" functionality. You can set the oven to start from the SmartThings app (you have to unlock your phone and actually go to the app) but only after pressing a physical 'remote start' button on the oven to let it know you are at home. You can set a voice command to turn the light on and off but you can't set a voice command to turn the oven on / pre-heat or even turn the oven off. I could live with the 'remote start' button being pressed followed by a voice command, as this would still be quicker than pressing all the buttons on the device while I prep my meals. Just a little frustrating when an appliance is sold as a smart device and has very limited smart controls. If you don't care about futuristic voice commands then I would highly recommend!

I was talked into buying this product by the salesperson & it was the worst decision ever. I mainly use the grill function on an oven & was under the impression the dual function would be perfect for this as I could just use the 'top' part as a grill. I did not realise that I had to remove the tray each time and that the whole oven was being heated even if I was only using the 'top' part. Hardly economical? I was also told it came with a grill which it doesn't.... I got what I consider a wire rack which when I tried to grill a chicken breast only created a mess with the grease splashing onto the glass door as there is no grill tray. This brings me on to the next issue which is that unlike a traditional oven where you can just pop the glass out when you need to clean it, with this oven you need to remove the entire oven door in order to clean the glass. I was unable to do this so it appears you need to be an engineer in order maintain this producet. I am so upset that I bought this oven and contacted Currys to ask if I could exchange it for a regular single oven (I have only used it a few times but the oven was only installed after the cooling off period so I couldn't return it during the 14 days given). They told me to contact Samsung who said I couldn't return it unless it was damaged and to contact the retailer I bought it from. Curry's are notoriously bad at customer service so unfortunately I seem to be stuck with an oven I will never use. Do some serious research before you purchase this product...........

I really love the design and the dual cook feature of this oven but the instructions, while comprehensive for deep cooking, they are not great for just the basics. There is nothing in the full manual / or the start up info to show how to set the clock. So now that the clocks have changed for the season it is off by 1 hour. I have downloaded the instruction book and even the search of the pdf does not bring up anything about setting the clock or setting the timer. I would also like a 12hr clock not a 24hour clock. The Wi-Fi section was Very difficult to set up, initially it took 2 weeks and three Samsung techs and lots of emails and photos sent back and forth to try to figure it out, in the end I figured it out. (It was a setting on my phone.) And working with the wi-fi bit was so annoying I ended up taking it off. I really don't need to have a text message when my oven is preheated or when I open the door each time...... I do find I have to add more heat than suggested. I even bought an oven thermomometer to make sure it was heating to what it was set to. It was, but often took much longer to cook. (?) I would also like to turn off the bell that tells me when the oven has reached my preheated temp. This ringing is unnecessary and annoying as it just keeps ringing 3x. It would also be nice to be able to change the ring tone of the bell as it is a bit too high pitched. The operations are easy enough, but outlines on the read out are too faint. These should be back lit or more of a white colour next to the black instead of grey on black. While it looks good I still have not come to grips with it and I've had it for 5 months now. The 56 page really needs to focus on the basics before going into all of the Bells and Whistles. As far as price, do shop around, I got it much less than buying direct from Samsung.
