After having the gadget case for the S23 Ultra, I had to have it for the S24 Ultra, too. I use the grip from the S23U gadget case for my runs, and the new ring grip in daily use. Honestly, those features are great. I struggle to understand why for the S24 Ultra, Samsung moved from the tougher material of the S23 Ultra gadget case, to the clear thin plastic in this one. Granted, I dropped it on one of my recent runs and it was fine. The problem is that this newer version of the case collects dust and dirt down the sides of the case and when you remove and reapply the case to clean it, it scratches the sides of your phone. I've only had the phone and case 2 months and the scratches are noticable and frustrating. When you spend £1500 on a phone, what you don't want is the thing that's supposed to be protecting it, actually damaging it. I actually messaged Samsung to see what they propose to do to rectify my issue (i.e. repair my phone), but they didn't want to know and sent me to speak to EE instead where I purchased the phone from. Avoid unless you REALLY need the gadget functionality.

Case it ok, but the stand bit has gone floppy and is now just annoying. It looks like a few people have had this problem. Trying to accessories to swap it out but cannot find in the store

I bought this case for its compatibility and color, but when I started using it, my phone seemed to have doubled in size and weight both, it is veryy bulky. Although the phone stays safe and is very secure, the quality of the strip band mechanism is low in quality as it stays out loose of its place when not in use.

Oh Samsung, what were you thinking. A very expensive lovely phone and you sell a case that 1. Is so glossy it makes the phone slippy to handle, 2. When the stand is not in use, it sticks out the back a cm, so you can’t place the phone safe and flat on a surface. And it’s a very cheap mechanism that will break in no time. Everything about this case makes the phone so vulnerable to dropping or being knocked off the table. So disappointed, especially given the price point.

Appalling piece of trash. £44 for a case that breaks in 8 weeks and Samsung will not do anything about it. Do not buy this.
