While it's great to see that you're loving a number of devices from our range, Jay, we do regret seeing that you're not getting the same levels of enjoyment from your Chromebook Go. We wouldn't expect to be seeing that you're having the issues you've described with it struggling to launch apps or programs, so if you would like to do so, our Customer Support team would be happy to look into this with you, and ensure that everything is working as it should be. You can find details for the different ways to contact them, plus their opening times, by following this link: https://bit.ly/HelpandContact. They would also be happy to help set up any other part of it so that it better suits your needs. While we do have Chrome software integrated into it, we do not have any control over its compatibility. We are happy to take on board your feedback regarding the lighting of the display, and how it interacts with video apps, so that we can keep on improving everything that we release. ^DB at Samsung Support

We're sad to hear that your Galaxy Chromebook Go isn't meeting your expectations, Graeme. Chromebooks and traditional laptops differ in the operating system. Chromebooks run on Google ChromeOS, which is web-based, and they primarily use web and Android apps rather than locally installed desktop software. Chromebooks deliver benefits such as a super speedy operation and longer battery life compared to traditional laptops. They are lighter and more portable, and they are ideal for Internet surfing and app usage. They are more secure due to how the apps run in a sandboxed environment, and they are perfect for multitasking - especially when used as a second display alongside your phone, as the integration between devices is truly seamless. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your review, and we're confident you will soon begin to enjoy the many benefits that owning a Galaxy Chromebook can bring. ^EW at Samsung Support

Battery time is based on our own laboratory measurements, and may vary depending on factors such as device settings, usage patterns and operating conditions.
Network Band: The bandwidths supported by the device may vary depending on the region or service provider.
Memory size: User memory is less than the total memory due to storage of the operating system and software used to operate the phones features. Actual user memory will vary depending on the mobile phone operator and may change after software upgrades are performed.
Typical value tested under Samsung laboratory condition. Typical value is the estimated average value considering the deviation in battery capacity among the battery samples tested under IEC 61960 standard. Actual battery life may vary depending on network environment, usage patterns and other factors.
