On-device Bixby

Control the refrigerator easily with just your voice. Built-in voice recognition capabilities allow you to speak commands and ask for information using Samsung Bixby*. So, even if your hands are full, you can control the settings and select functions. Open the fridge effortlessly! The fridge’s Auto Open Doors have touch sensors. When you lightly touch the sensor with the palm or the back of your hand the doors automatically open. The ‘Wide-open’ option automatically opens the door by an angle of 80 degrees or more, but the door does not close automatically. The ‘Semi-open’ option reduces the force required to open the door, and automatically closes the door after a certain period of time if the door is left open. The actual angle that the doors open may vary due to the installation circumstances and usage conditions, like storing heavy items in the door bins.

Ordered and delivered within 48hrs, this is a replacement for a Samsung FF we had for over 25 years. Externally its the same size, but internally this is much bigger - its capacity can only be seen when you open both doors. Its far too early to say if this will also last 25 years but lets hope so. Loving it so far.

The fridge was delivered and the doors had to be removed in order to access the kitchen. Unfortunately, the electrical connections were not restored correctly and the water dispenser didn't work. After some trouble shooting and firm negotiaiton, we were given a Samsung Engineer appointment. The Engineer was excellent, restored the function of the machine and our faith in the process. We're delighted with the Fridge Freezer, now that it is working correctly.

Great fridge delivered today to replace a 16 year old Samsung. However got a drip from water spout which I will keep an eye on. Also Bixby opens both doors every time even if you just ask for fridge. Bit annoyed about that as Samsung online chat told me to get it to open individually you had to touch the sensors. Thought the whole idea was it was hands free. I’ll keep looking online for solutions but may be a further call to Samsung
