I bought an american style ref (RS67A8810B1/EU), I didn't open the outer packaging while my home was under construction at that time. Once we placed it to our kitchen yesterday, we noticed that its door was damaged. and Samsung says we had to report it within 28 days. Be careful everyone. If you buy anything from Samsung, you should open the packaging immediately.

This American style fridge freeze is let down by not actually being black more a gun metal colour and the kicker of it the side are a completely different colour by being grey. when you a product in a colour you expect the whole product to be the same colour. No where in product description does it say this or shown in any of the photos. sadly this now sticks out like sore thumb in my kitchen and ruins the look as all other appliances are all black. Sadly I didn't realise this until after my old american fridge freezer had the doors pulled off (to get it out) and was sat in the garden in pouring rain as we opted for old product to be removed. I had no option other to accept the delivery at this point.

Looks smart, but shelves are flimsy and freezer leaks air in and ices up due to the seal sitting on a ‘seem’ of the metal Casing, meaning the freezer frosts up Samsung engineers fitted a new door, but the seal does not fully seal as it’s sitting over a seem with a small gap

I cannot understate just how bad an experience I have had ordering this fridge freezer direct from Samsung. Didn't ship properly (2 person team dumped this upside down on my driveway rather than into my kitchen as was promised as part of the sale - should have been a 3 person crew) and was damaged in transit; over a month later, multiple calls and online chats and with an engineer not having shown up as agreed, I now face Christmas without being able to store food. The fridge itself is relatively quiet and spacious but based on what I've been through, if you are going to order it I would do so from someone with much better customer support than Samsung directly.

(Am reproducing this review I left on the John Lewis Website plus adding a few more points now that we’ve had it for a few months) It's a great looking fridge freezer with plenty of space. However… our old American fridge freezer had a long vertical handle on both doors which meant if the kids swung the door open the handle would take the pain. In our new kitchen we have a double oven next door to the fridge (see pic) with horizontal handles that protrude beyond the oven door so if the kids fling the freezer door open we're going to end up with a dented door! (Samsung - please try and design some sort of door stop for this range of fridge freezers). Speaking of dents, we’ve had the fridge just a few months and already it has 2 small dents on the front (higher than the children can reach so we have no idea where they came from but clearly it dents easily). We had our old Maytag for 10 years and it didn’t have a single dent on it - the thickness of the steel on the Samsung is clearly very thin. We also have a dent lower down on the side of the door which the corner of the bottom drawer made (see pic). The corner of the bottom drawer was also very sharp initially which scratched the door but I’ve since filed it down so it doesn’t happen again (something I shouldn’t have to do). Also, the rate at which the ice machine dispenses ice is variable to say the least plus it can miss the glass, as does the water if you use a small glass. Our old Maytag had a door on the ice bucket inside the freezer which was much more user friendly if you just wanted a cube or 2. (Samsung - please introduce a small door at the top of the ice bucket). One other learning - our kitchen designers didn't leave much room at the back of the units for the plug and water pipe so we had to have them chased into the wall so that we could get the fridge freezer as far back as possible. The doors on this fridge freezer are thicker than any fridge I've seen before (great for door space inside the the fridge) so you really don't want it sticking out any further than needed. Finally, the external filter was a pain at the outset but our plumber has installed it in the cupboard above the fridge freezer (not that we had the room at the back of the fridge freezer anyway). I hope that's useful.

Having previously had a Samsung American style fridgefreezer I didn’t look at other models . The man in shop told me the water filter replacement filter be located in the bottom drawer of the fridge . We looked and I thought yes . However once in stalled to my horror I realised that the water feature is now a stand alone filter …. rubbish, rubbish rubbish . The doors don’t hang properly and the guys delivering told me that they can’t be adjusted . I have now tried and again my view on it is that doesn’t work …So disappointed

Ordered directly from Samsung, which was fine. Setting up and connecting the water supply went without a hitch. But, upon looking at the fridge after setting everything up, the Samsung label on the door is not level, i know its only small niggle but come on!

Awful Have the version before and it is broken already out of warranty despite buying it being told it had a five year warranty by currys apparently had to sign up, what a joke. Blew my electrics. Hopeless technical support and customer complaints cannot give a fig about you or your machine whilst thy are at home on a terrible internet phoneline with their kids running around in the background. Is this really how Samsung operate?! Totally and utterly third rate, add to that even if it was in warranty they would send you an Engineer form a third party repair company whose rating on Google is 3* makes sense I suppose because Samsung are a 1* company IMO

Well packed and delivered at 7.00am, up and running by 8.00am. Feels and looks good quality. After levelling up not enough adjustment for doors. ( Annoying!). Reached temperatures quickly and quiet running. Would have given it 5 stars if doors were in line.

Quite a few features missing from this model. No light by the water dispenser, and no tray to catch any water that spills. Another major problem is the tube where the water comes out is too far forward, so when you try and fill a glass the water spills over your hand. You need a very wide glass or you need to activate the dispenser with your hand behind the glass. Our Appliance started making strange noises after a few hours and when the engineer arrived he mentioned that this model had a known problem with the cooling fan. After the engineer visit the problem came back after a few hours. Now to try and get hold of Samsung is proving very difficult. Martin Dawes (their repair agents) keep promising to call me back but never do. After spending over £1000 on a fridge freezer, I really expected more.

Excellent American Fridge Freezer, I really can not fault it as it does exactly what it says on the tin, no ice build up as it is de-frost free, maintains its temperature brilliantly and the super turbo freeze and cool are excellent after a big shop and you need to get your food and frozen goods to the right temperature quickly. I purchased this one after checking out the best buy American Fridge Freezers on Which? I have only had it for a couple of months but no complaints at the moment - well pleased....

Only thing I miss from my old model is a cheese drawer which I found useful for cheeses, cooked meats etc and smaller flat items. The water and ice etc are good however the selector juts out spoiling the otherwise sleek lines of this fridge - apart from that loving the black (charcoal colour) & it seems to be working well

Nice looking, very big fridge and freezer with plumbed in water, ice cubes and crushed ice. It seems extremely quiet to us especially compared to our last Fisher Paykel fridge. The water filter does require you to turn off the water supply to change which is a tad tedious but not a problem if you plan for it and put in a easy access isolator. Ive chosen to just use the filter system from my last fridge for now as that one you can just take out and replace the filter without turning off the supply but will no doubt move to the new samsung filter once Ive worked through my old supply of filters. Inside the unit seems cavenous and everything was very well packaged and protected when it arrived and seems very easy to take things out and clean as needed. we've only had it a few days so far it seems excellent and dont regret the purchase despite the expensive price.

This product looks so cool in our new kitchen, we chose black to match our cabinets. There's so much space inside, especially in the fridge door, we can get all our dairy, drinks and table sauces in the door alone. I also love the huge salad drawer, I can keep carrots and all sorts in there as well. However, the biggest hit in our house is the ice maker, I wasn't sure we'd use it much but the whole family is constantly dispensing ice into their drinks, including myself, I can't get enough of a glass of iced fizzy water with lemon. Now all there is to do is a whole load of home cooking to fill up the freezer side with tons of instant dinners.

My model RS68A8830B1 is a replacement to a previous Samsung ff. Cons - the measurements provide on website are questionable. I checked and ascertained that the complete appliance would come through my doors. Instead the doors had to be removed to bring through separately. Also, the black version does not mean solid black. It is actually a very dark slate gray with vertical lines giving a textured appearance. Lighting now is at the top front meaning areas at the rear and the very last shelf are not as lit up as the previous rear panel light provided. Design flaw, for the lowest food basket to be fully pulled out for access, the fridge door has to be completely open otherwise the basket edge catches the door panel (I've only had this 2 days and already there is a slight mark) Pros - The spacemax is amazing a makes a massive difference to both fridge and freezer. Doors open almost 180 degrees. Deeper see-through door shelves. Smaller ice cubes. Quiet performance as advertised. The twin cooling aspect, quiet performance and sleek design is why I selected from this range of Samsung.

Just wanted to follow on from my previous review. I was advised to look at the instruction manual to learn how to adjust the doors so that they sit at equal heights. Again I have to reiterate that IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO RAISE OR LOWER THE LEFT HAND DOOR BECAUSE THERE IS NO ADJUSTMENT FACILITY. I have tried to attach a photo as evidence of this but the system won’t allow it. I have had to undo the bottom hinge screw (which was rusty) and pack up the hinge using a selection of washers and a plastic packer. Perhaps someone could explain why adjustment is not on both doors, and maybe have the instruction manual corrected. Or at the very least make sure that the manufacturing process produces level doors.

I like this fridgefreezer, looks good, freezes well and is spacious. my problem with it is it's not working. freezer stopped a month ago, they "fixed" it and two weeks later, stopped again. So far with Samsung, I have thrown away three lots of food out of the freezer. Bought the original one four years ago, broke down after two years. to be fair, Samsung replaced it within two week so well done! Second one broke down a month ago, two years old, throw the food away, ring Samsung, it was fixed, great. fill it up again, two weeks later, breaks down , again. Throw the food away! Now waiting for a call back from customer service, its been escalated to them apparently. Perhaps i've been unlucky, or, I should have bought another brand. Juries out on that one at the moment.

First of all, it looks great!!! Looks in this case are everything…the upgrades from the old version are excellent. More space inside, well laid out shelving and a much improved water / ice dispenser. By that I mean the internal mechanism is now situated on the door itself (old version was at the top of the freezer inside taking up the top of the freezer space). The operating of the water / ice dispenser is much better also. From the initial installation of the fridge freezer it was clear it was ‘up to speed’ very quickly and it’s also very quiet. Within a short time we were able to load it up with produce and get on with life. Overall, it will look great in any kitchen and do the job it is intended to do extremely well…!!

Rear feet are rollers and not height adjustable. Front feet, right is adjustable, left is not which is bizarre. Even at its lowest level at the front the fridge sits lower at the rear and my doors are not level. No light or drip tray for water dispenser. The exterior is very easy to dent. Just not as good as our whirlpool one

If you don't mind the doors being skewed and not level with each other, fine. If not, don't buy! The User manual says both doors have height adjustment, and you can adjust the gap between them. This is not true! There is no gap adjustment and height adjustment only on the right hand door, which is 4-7mm higher than the left hand door, and cannot be lowered because it is already at the lowest setting. Extremely poor basic mechanical design and manufacture by Samsung, compounded by false information in their User Manual.

We love everything about this unit which replaced a faulty Samsung FF. The design, with no protruding handles, is far better than the previous model and the interior space is vastly superior too. The freezer compartment takes far more filling because the ice maker is built into the door and the fridge is also huge by comparison and shelf spacing is perfect. The ice maker is very efficient (do give it the 24 hours to get up to speed) and much quieter than previous models. I have to say it is different class all round and if it lasts anything like the fifteen years our first Samsung lasted we will be delighted.

Ok so bought an American Fridge freezer approx 5 years ago paid £1500 for it so not a cheap fridge freezer by any stretch of the imagination we were very happy with it ….but just under 5 years of use, the ice machine has packed in working . Samsung certified engineers come out … thought it was this .. parts ordered … wasn’t that … thought it required a new door part ordered wasn’t that ! Then announced unrepairable and a report sent to Samsung … Samsung are you ready for this … offered an up/ down fridge freezer as a replacement !! (We have a fitted kitchen for an American fridge freezer !) Or we could have the value of the fridge freezer now £158 !! So depreciation of your fridge freezers is unreal and they would need to collect the fridge freezer before the refund would be paid !! We kicked up a fuss and were offered an American fridge freezer … But no ice … just a water dispenser …. And a smaller capacity fridge freezer than what we had ! Not impressed Samsung !! They would not budge on this . When a fridge freezer lasts 10 + years (on their website when they advertise running costs that’s over 18 years and the ice machine lasts under 5years years of use shocking. So be careful as Samsung leave you high and dry and on research this seems to be a common problem! NEVER will I ever buy another Samsung fridge freezer if this is the way they treat their customers …a big multinational company it’s shocking

The fridge and freezer are slightly larger capacity than most others that I looked at, but only have two drawers in the fridge compartment compared to 3 in my previous Samsung fridge freezer. The control panel is inside the fridge which I find a bit of a pain along with the temperature. The water dispenser doesn't have a drip tray whereas the last one does which means it spills down the front and onto the floor. The ice maker I haven't managed to get working properly yet and there isn't a hanging bottle rack (I kept the old one but it doesn't fit) So in summary it's good but has gone backwards in a few niggling areas

DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE. We bought it brand new, and since day 1 it has been so loud that our guests ask if it is broken. We called Samsung twice, and they sent service people out, and we were told that it was a "normal noise". Never have I ever heard a fridge so loud, and the company says that they all make this noise. So, if you value your peace and enjoyment of your kitchen, do NOT buy this fridge. Also, customer service has been terrible. I will find every place I can do write reviews warning others of this faulty appliance. (If Samsung were to replace our fridge, I would stop posting these reviews, but they said they will not.)

We purchased this after our previous Samsung model gave up the ghost after 15 years. This new model is wonderful. It has ice and water on demand, although now you have to switch between one or the other as there is now only one ‘port’. The internal area is around 20% larger (although the external size is exactly the same). Hopefully we will get another 15 years of use!

Our last American style fridge/freezer stopped working after only 30 months (not Samsung). We decided to get this Samsung one and are delighted, the difference in the fridge temperature is amazing. We now realise that the old one probably didn't work properly from new. I love the way you can organise food in the fridge (and freezer), there seems so much space although supposed to be the same capacity as our last one. so bright and easy to see what you have in there too. Love the water and ice facilities (didn't have these before). It looks lovely in the kitchen too. There is nothing to dislike at all about this fridge freezer.

It’s a shame there isn’t a cover at bottom of the fridge to cover the wheels that can be seen at bottom of fridge I think some of the Samsung American fridges do have a cover at the bottom

The cover for the lower fridge drawer will crack for no reason when it's still new. Then customer service will tell you it was because of 'brute force' even when you explain you haven't used it yet. And it can't possibly be a fault on their end because it went through 'rigorous testing'. Then they will direct you to their spare parts website to purchase another flimsy, tiny piece of plastic for a lot of money because, of course, you've just gone past the 28 day cooling period.

Wish I had never bought this. Plastic drawers are weak and are breaking after 6 months of use. The water dispenser is awful. Sprays water everywhere. You need massive glasses. Freezer is rubbish. Meat that's only been in a matter of weeks is freezer burned and ice lollies are covered in frost.

Deleting bad reviews doesn't make them go away. There are many other places people can go to do their research. Just because the warranty doesn't cover certain things, it doesn't mean you can make them so cheap that they break in under 2 months before the fridge freezer has even been used.

This fridge has plenty of storage space both on the door and within. Plenty of compartments and shelving so no more cluttered items and jars hidden. Milk is lovely and chilled and food stays much fresher for longer. It is very quiet.. the only noise is when the ice drops. It has a sleek finish with no handles jutting out. We are very pleased with this product and the service we received at Finucane Electrical and from the delivery guy was 100%. There is also more space in the freezer section as the ice compartment is located on the door which was not the case with our previous 6th sense refrigerator. It also has twin cooling feature maintaining precise temperature. Overall a much improved appliance with the latest technology.

Replacing our Samsung American Style Fridge Freezer was certainly a task to live up to. The Samsung Series 7 did not disappoint. SpaceMax technology gives us a much more generous storage capacity with the option of converting the freezer into a fridge if needed using the Smart conversion option - a great feature for us. After our first big shop to fill up both fridge and freezer the contents were nice and cold in no time at all. The ice maker is really quick to replenish and the chilled filtered water is just my favourite. It looks sleek on the outside with recessed handles. To top it off, we felt it was a really great price with a 5 year peace of mind parts and labour warranty too!

This product was bought to replace an older model that I had for at least 10 years before it broke down. I was very happy with the older model and don't believe it had the issue I am experiencing with this model. When opening either of the 2 salad/vegetable drawers, unless you open the fridge door to its maximum reach the drawers bump into the side of the door and cause damage. I have had the new model less than a month and there is already a small dent in the door as opening a fridge this wide every time you want to use the drawers is not something I would expect to have to do and isn't a natural action. I have uploaded a photograph which hopefully demonstrates the problem. It is unfortunate as this is otherwise a very efficient product. I purchased the deli/dairy draw separately, this is featured in the more deluxe models and certainly gives more storage space.

This product is probably great, I am yet to find out since my new fridge has been standing in the hallway in its original packaging for over a week now. I have ordered this fridge and paid extra for delivery and installation, plus used the recycling option to get rid of my old fridge. I have called 4 times to both Samsung and their delivery partner Panther and spoke to Samsung on the chat, all to make them aware that my kitchen is in the basement and the fridge will have to be lowered down a short but steep staircase. I asked both to make sure that the people who will deliver this fridge are made aware of this. Of course, the two delivery guys were not aware and refused to install the new fridge / dispose of the old one. I have called Samsung twice more, and they took notes and came back to me with the answer: "Thanks for getting in touch. Please be advised that your order only includes trade-in disposal only". However, the old fridge is also still there. Thank you, Samsung. Please stop offering services you can't deliver.

I bought this fridge freezer around 4 months ago but I could not recommend it. There is a lot of noise from the fridge freezer caused by the gasses settling. This is really loud and in my opinion is caused by an issue with how it has either been designed or gassed during assembly. I have had an engineer out to look at at it but as all the components are working correctly Samsung are unwilling to do anything more. I would ideally like to try a replacement unit to see if this is just a one-off problem with my fridge. I have a lot of Samsung products but I am really disappointed with this one.

Our Bosch fridge freezer malfunctioned (again) freezing everything in the fridge. It has been a bit erratic like that since new and service couldn't help diagnose any problems before. But the bullet to get to another brand. This Samsung fridge we got for less than 1100e is 10 percent roomier inside than our old one. The external filter is better as I'm pretty sure after the freezing issue we just had with our old fridge the filter fitting had begun to leak separate from the electriconics problem. Clean lines meant it was easier to get into the house and fit than some others. Also not seeing any vulnerable panels hosting electronics attached externally like on our last fridge. Seems durable.

Bought to replace a previous Samsung American style fridge freezer, which had lasted 17 years (with a few repairs along the way). Finish is more attractive than the previous models and there's more space, despite similar dimensions. Well done. Downsides: no deli tray anymore (not even as a separate purchase), no drip dray under the water dispenser - just a shallow indent. Who thought that was a good idea?

Our old Samsung American freezer broke down in Nov 21 after a mere 17 years! So obviously we were always going to buy a new Samsung!! We chose the 8 series as it seemed the closest in size to our old one but with extra features. We love it! Although almost the same externally, internally it seems much bigger and better designed. It doesn’t have a hanging wine rack but the doors fit wine bottles. The water and ice feature is superb especially during this heatwave (even if it dispenses it’s ice rather violently!) It looks classy in stainless steel and makes no noise. We are delighted.

We bought this a month ago and still can't get over the amount of space inside both fridge and freezer compartments compared to our previous American fridge freezer. We installed it ourselves which was a fairly straight forward process in following the instructions and the performance has been excellent so far. The flow of water and ice from the dispenser is a little slower than our previous device but we will customize to that. The design is contemporary and sleek and the value is excellent. Overall, we are delighted with this product and hope it lasts as long as our previous one.

THE right door (adjustable one ) are out of regulation range when you set up your refrigerator like you should (look user manual ). I set up my using laser and measuring diagonal of the box!! In this case right door are to high approximately 4 -5 mm out of regulation range! For the refrigerator form this price range ? That is unacceptable!! A more modern looking front design, however it’s lacking in a few features that we loved in our old Samsung American style Fridge Freezer. No light on the the ice/water dispenser and the water does not appear to be chilled. No split shelf and the egg rack is not as good as the egg box that came with our previous fridge freezer.

This fridge is a replacement for our five year old Samsung American Fridge Freezer. The new models do not match the features and design of our old one. Will miss having the controls on the front and the LED lighting down the back inside the fridge. Will miss the light when using the water and ice dispenser. Will the internal water filter. Will miss the clever shelf options and the two salad drawers and meat drawer. Even my young son summed up the new fridge as boring.

Lovely fridge freezer, so much space and the build quality feels excellent, very sturdy and robust when opening and closing the doors. Feels like a very premium product. It’s generally very quiet, definitely quieter than my old fridge freezer. The ice maker and chilled water dispenser is a massive bonus and is our favourite part! The ice storage compartment holds a large amount of ice so will be perfect as we go into the summer. Definitely recommend this.

Lovely looking fridge/freezer but it is much louder than our previous one. The old one was a Samsung too and lasted 15 years, so we decided to spend that little bit more to buy another Samsung. However, the new one gurgles very noticeably when the fridge-side compressor is running. Visitors have commented on it too, quite distracting. A real shame as apart from this "feature" it is a great unit.

After my Daewoo American Fridge Freezer came to the end of it's life I needed a replacement that could meet our needs. I researched the market and found this replacement. It was exactly what we needed but also had a hidden feature I did not know was possible. That the freezer section could also be a fridge with the touch of a button. Mind blown 😳 The display is on the inside of the fridge door so not visible on the outside which adds a level of class to the design. It's minimalist appearance is somewhat appealing when less is more. The ice dispenser doubles as a fresh water source and being plumbed in it is never in short supply. When you open the doors you are met with gentle cooling LED lights. Each side had both shelves and slide out compartments for keeping meat and/or vegetables fresher for longer. I love that fact that the Super Cooling and Super Freeze functions both stop after a set period of time if you forget to revert them back to normal mode. This is something else my previous machine failed to do and you would have to remember to do so. The machine is in and had been used for a few days amd am very pleased with the purchase. I am delighted at the value for money this purchase has been and coming with a 5 year warranty gives peace of mind for years to come. A highly recommended fridge freezer.

This freezer looks good and was really easy to install with all the information provided. The shelves seem quite strong as are the plastic boxes for veg etc. The ice maker has two options either ice cubes or crushed ice and a water chiller with filtered water. Temperature control is really easy with a digital display inside the fridge door. There is a child lock to stop the water tap being accidentally pressed.

We purchased this Samsung fridge freezer to replace a 12 year old Samsung which we were delighted with its style and performance. Unfortunately we are some what disappointed with the new one. When it arrived the left hand door was 5mm lower than the right. It is possible to adjust the right hand door only and this was already set to its lowest point! So we are stuck with a misaligned set of doors. To make matters worse the gap between the doors from top to bottom is not equal and the instructions do not say how to adjust this. There is absolutely no shelf adjustment, where as our previous Samsung allowed plenty. The water and ice dispenser does not have any lighting. The doors do not automatically close. On a positive note both the fridge and the freezer have so much more space compared to our predecessor, it is well lit inside and the door pockets on the fridge can hold plenty of bottles etc

So far I'm extremely happy with this product. I thought it had an internal water filter, however, it's external but have managed to place it in a cupboard next to the Fridge/Freezer. Not quite managed to fill the fridge yet! Shame it didn't come with the bottle rack shelf, I've now purchased one and adds extra space for bottles. Really pleased with it.

As the title says, just delivered and installed. Installation and control instructions could be a bit clearer. No indication when first starting up that temperature settings had been accepted. 24hrs later everything appears to be working fine. Love the colour and the internal lighting, very spacious in comparison to our previous Samsung Fridge Freezer, and love the ice maker.

Great looking, good water/ice maker, seems solidly made. Has adjustment to level and align the doors. Is on wheels so can be pulled out easily. Water filters last about six months and can easily be purchased online. Freezer stopped working after eight months as the gas had leaked out from it. They came after about a week to look and decided it was beyond repair. Offered to replace it within a couple of days of providing proof of purchase. Wasn’t ideal but could have be worse, not sure they will contribute to all the food we lost!

This fridge/freezer looks absolutely brilliant in black, although it's not a true black, there is a vertical grain to the brushed steel. Easy to install and setup. The water/ice dispenser is so useful and convenient. Even in the winter months. In both the fridge and freezer there are acres of space to store your food. The fridge bins keep fruit and veg fresh ages compared to my old fridge, saving me from the issue of food waste. The shelves are very well lit even when it was full of feed for Christmas. Although this is not the most energy efficient American style fridge freezer, I have noticed a saving over my old separate build in fridge and freezer (16 years). It appears very well made and I'm sure it will last. Very happy with mu purchase.

Bought to replace my previous Samsung which gave up the ghost after almost 20years!!! The new model is almost exactly the same size yet has a more spacious interior due to the new space saving design. Lovely sleek design and much quieter than the old model. Shame it doesn't have an under shelf, pullout, deli drawer as my old one did but it has the option to purchase a wine rack to fit the runners where this would be. Still a beautiful fridge freezer though. No problems so far. I hope this one lasts as long as my old model.

My new Samsung RS68A8820S9 Fridge/Freezer is awesome, it's replacing a 1960's Kelvinator fridge and a Kelvinator upright chest freezer (age unknown), so not only will it be much cheaper to run, I won't need to defrost it every few months. The RS68 is extremely quiet and I really like the ice & chilled water dispenser in the door especially as it is filtered. The doors had to be removed in order to get the unit into my home and kitchen but this was very straight forward and easy after watching Samsung's YouTube "How-to" channel, requiring basic tools and an extra pair of hands. I left the plumbing-in of the water feed pipe to a qualified plumber and the only other job to do was make sure the unit was correctly levelled up, again this was made easy with the instructions and spanner provided, I just needed a spirit level. I would definitely recommend anyone to purchase a Samsung fridge freezer especially as they are the only ones offering an extra 3 years parts and labour warranty on top of the standard 2 years, this tells me Samsung have much more confidence in their products than other manufacturers.

We were sad to our Panasonic American fridge freezer go after 12 years of use, as it was just about perfect. Having looked around for a replacement the Samsung range stood out for us, as head and shoulders above the current competitors. After ordering online direct with Samsung, I then had a dreadful time with customer services just simply trying to confirm whether the delivery drivers would remove the appliance doors to get it into our kitchen. In the event, as I had ordered over the weekend (Saturday) and had a Monday delivery scheduled, the request didn’t reach the courier company in time for them to send out drivers capable of removing doors (including disconnecting the pipe to the water dispenser). So after a wasted hour of the drivers trying to sort out the issue, the appliance sat in our lounge waiting for someone else to be sent out the next day to remove the appliance doors. However now the fridge is installed it certainly looks good. It’s sleek and spacious. The ice maker and water dispenser is fab although you do have to peer underneath to see where the dispenser is. The fridge light is nice and bright but as there’s just the one central light at the top of the fridge compartment, the lower shelves are effectively in the shade of items on the shelf above. (Our last fridge had a strip of light all the way down the sides so every shelf was properly lit). The shelves themselves are great. The door shelves are nice and deep and there are two deep drawers for fruit and veg which is sufficient for our needs. However it’s a pity that there isn’t a separate meat/fish drawer as well. One final major gripe is the fact you can’t simply pull out the bottom fridge or freezer drawers. You have to remove the one above. Press down on the lid of the one below to remove it. I’m not really sure why Samsung are making what should be something simple and straightforward difficult. Overall though I’m reasonably happy with the purchase. Just a few annoying issues to get used to. i will however be complaining to Samsung as although customer services tried really hard to deal with the delivery issue, their systems and processes were dreadfully ineffective.

This is the 4th replacement we have had. The first two were damaged on arrival, 3rd lasted 6 months then packed up. It took 3 visits by Samsung to confirm it was not working and Currys then replaced it. Been without a fridge for 6 weeks. Good fridge if it works, very very poor service if it fails

The fridge and freezer are very spacious and work well, however our previous Samsung fridge freezer came with a fold down rack for drinks cans and a wine rack. This one doesn't. It also had an egg box, this one has a plastic rack which looks quite cheap to place the eggs on. Finally my water bottle does not fit inside the aperture for the water and has to be held at an awkward angle , my last fridge fitted on the shelf.

The shelving (particularly the door shelves) and drawers have been well conceived. The water dispenser needs to be pushed in hard to operate, which means you can't just leave a jug to be filled and walk away (which is a good thing! had many over flowing jugs with my previous fridge)

Pretty good, could do with an extra shelf or 2 and with this is would provide the opportunity to decide the height of each shelf. Each one is slightly too high and therefore you end up stacking a lot of things. Also would be ideal if it came with a wine rack but overall pretty good.

Oh my, what a monster of a fridge, we upgraded from a 20 year old Hotpoint which finally gave up after many moves, children and parties. Our family of 9 have barely even filled it up, the water and ice dispenser is a bonus. I hope this gives us many years of service

Upgraded from an integrated fridge freezer, can't believe the space in this, freezer room is great even with ice box!! Not long arrived, so far so good but will update. Only negative is fridge arrived with dent in it even though arrived in full protective packaging

The Good bits: Very quiet with plenty of room inside. The bad bits: Shelves poorly retained, No undershelf storage drawers in fridge or freezer. No adjustable shelf positions in the doors. No light at the water/ice dispenser. No removable drip tray under the water/ice dispenser. All thee above were standard on my 25yr old Whirlpool American fridge freezer until it finally gave up working so had to be replaced with the Samsung which did seam to be the best available with Lg a close second.

Great fridge for the price. Gives you cold water and ice on demand without the need for a proper water connection, with the water tank in the fridge which doesn't take up too much space. Loads of space in the fridge and freezer too.

it took a while to install it, but the 3rd technician got it right... It works but it is very noisy, the door handle is not the most practical and the bottom drawers are hard to open or close.
