I am not enjoying it at all. In fact, I regretted buying it. It is supposed to be foldable but only opens halfway. The screen has gone blank and the touch screen not working. All efforts to get this sorted proved futile. If you need to respond kindly send nd me a mail

I regretted buying this product. It is meant to be foldable but never folded. I tried to open it but will not open flat. Screen gone completely blank. All efforts to return it proved futile. It is a money wasted

So the phone in general is a great phone, smooth / fast and folds to a decent size . However after 4 months of general use the internal screen had split and now has a large liquid line down the centre. 8 months on and Samsung still does not cover this and does not recognise it as a fault (ALOT of these phones have this problem) so now I can only use the small front screen. I have 6 Samsung phones on contract for my family and to be honest it'll be the last time I get Samsung as this isn't the first time Samsung have let me down on thier customer service, eg- I had TV's / Fridgefreezer / washing machine all Samsung and never and aftercare / help

I Hate this phone! Its the worst thing I have ever purchased. The main screen has caused 5 replacements so far, from little black dots along the fold to no longer rotate or activities. This phone has caused stress and anguish... at times depression due to the random failures. If not for the amazing insurance company I would not have been unable to maintain ownership, so far it has cost £500 on top of the £14 week in addition to the purchased price. I wish and hope to get rid of in when I renew my contract and sell this overstated financial burden.
Bought my and my husband of covtech never again brought in beginning of november as christmas present so only opened them and started using the on 30 December. Last week my husband in screen has gone, the touch screen doesn't work and and turns black on and off. Now for the pass two days my inscreen down the middle of the phone as a white green line. I just think it's this company we go it of as we have had other fold phones and loved them just alot of money now to replace them for other ones.
Initially I was very impressed with this phone, but after 7 months of very careful use, the screen has started bubbling and coming apart on the fold. I've spoken to Samsung and they have offered me two free solutions. firstly they collect the phone and repair it, which takes about two weeks. Secondly I can go to my local approved repair centre, which I did this morning and it turns out that after some refusal to do anything, they offered to send the phone to Samsung for repair, which also takes two weeks... Needless to say two weeks without my phone each time it needs the screen fold repairing is an absolute deal breaker! This style of phone from Samsung is therefore rated 'DO NOT BUY!'... Needless to say, I wont buy Samsung again...

I'm very disappointed, because 1. the battery is no lasting. I need to full charge 2-3 times a day. I've been used most time only the small screen. I don't understand, It's a new phone !! 2. the big screen's photo and resolution are very bad and quite fragile. I've dreamed a big big screen smartphone. Fold has a big screen but after use 2 days I prefer return to a standard smartphone. 3. When the phone is opened in big screen size, you can't hold it well without touches the screen. When you touched the screen, it's sent a click. Oh !! And when the big screen is opened, I must hold it with 2 hands otherwise it can fall down very easily. Too many hassles...

I've had this phone now for just over a year. On the whole of is a really good. Unfortunately the main screen protector over time cracked in the middle. I spoke with Samsung and they sent me to the local EE shop where they replace them. The bad news was the phone had the tiniest of knicks on the casing and they said it would cost the price of the phone to repair it as it was damaged. Not covered under the warranty. The guy in the shop was really sympathetic and said there was nothing he could do bout it was Samsung's policy. The phone was not really working with the condition of the screen protector. At this point for me I feel I've been had by Samsung.

Owned the phone a month and one morning opened the screen and it cracked down the middle of the fold. I rang Samsung and the said they will pick it up to repair Thursday and no one came, they rebooked for Sunday and no one came, so two wasted days waiting in. Rang them today and they said they will pick it up tomorrow. The customer service is dire I will be without the phone for about a month which I will still be paying for with no compensation for the time I lost waiting in or the phone I'm paying for and not been able to use. I'm on the verge of sending back the phone and cancelling my contract and going to another phone brand.

Bought this phone in November 2022, last month a white line appeared on the right side of the inner screen. Then last week the whole inner screen does not work and a black screen has appeared over lapping both inside screens. I have never had issues with Samsung, as I have had many of their phones over the years. Till now. I hope they can get it fixed, as I do like the phone.
Inner screen has broken twice now without a clear cause. Sent in for repair and takes ages to come back.

've had my Galaxy Z Fold3/4 for two and a half years, and it's now experiencing intermittent faults. Your service lab has quoted £640 for repairs, which I find disappointing given the device's premium price point. The fold in the middle began to deteriorate after just one year, which significantly impacted my ability to enjoy the full experience the device was designed to offer. I spent a considerable amount of money on this product and expected a minimum lifespan of at least three years without major issues. Overall, I'm not satisfied with the durability or value I've received, and I believe this warrants further consideration from your team.
So where to begin had z fold 4 for 10 months, went on holiday screen protector started peeling away, contacted samsung whom sent out so called repair guy whom basically was tjere to try fleece more money of me stating that due to a few scratched on outer case meant warrenty was void,,, absolute joke especially when the phone apart from the scratches on outer hinge was enough to avoid fixing it,,, bearing in mind theee has been overwhelming reviews of the issue .. samsung backhealed

Please do not buy this product. The inner screen is fragile. Inspite of screen covers. After 10 months a black line appeared and screen has gone black. Inspite of being under warranty Samsung is charging for repairs almost 60% the price of the phone!! I used to love Samsung phones. An utter disappointment in customer service.

After I use this phone 1year my phone stop open in full, phone not been damaged, this is manufacturer problem and not has been covered by Samsung, They offer me repair for £570. Why I must payd for this, Samsung phone mechanism not working super. I use Samsung protective case with it cost a lot money and still not protected my phone. Main screen bubbled in the middle top and after cracked the screen Went to samsung store in stratford and they've been ridiculous blaming the hinge alignment,the guy was looking at it from various angles and it seemed to me like he was doing that as a to do thing ,like no interest and next part of the training was to blame the hinge probably,which he did Very disappointed especially that the damage was not caused by me,and them washing their hands with a simple aaa,the hinge is to blame,put pressure and bla bla bla DO NOT BUY is my advice

Woeful phone. Screen has a big black spot and a line of dead pixels. Samsung won't repair as they say is been dropped. Which is nonsense.
Thought the phone was really good at first, then the crease down the middle started and within the year it was horrendous. Also everytime i folded the phone it started to switch itself off. Sent it off for repair within the year of buying it to be told my warranty was invalid due to a minute chip on the screen. Was told had to pay 309 quid to get it repaired. I dont think so!! Absolutely disgusted with samsung will never buy from them again

Don't buy a fold or flip phone read the problems that a lot of people have had with samsung not taking responsibility for the fold and flip phones developing a falt of the screen lifting and a black line appearing in the fold , im seeking legal advice now as samusung are a disgrace, please read in the samsung community what a lot of people are saying about the fold and flip phones and samsung backing out of their responsibility to the customer that pay thousands for there tech.
I love the big screen it is easy to read. I love the ability to co duct some of my work business on this phone. But you would think when you pay 1800 for a phone you would 1. Get a longer warranty from manufacturer an 2. Get a product that lasts as long as it takes to pay it off. I bought this phone Dec 2022 and the inside screen is cracked at the fold and now I can't use the I side screen because when I open it instead of staying on it shuts itself off and I can't use it
The screen size is useful when opened but quite thin and difficult to use when closed. The design of the internal screen protector is extremely poor. I had mine replaced after 10 months and the shop told me they get people in daily to have them replaced. Poor design work to have it fatigue fail 10 months in use. The phone is very thick when closed and is quite difficult to remove from pockets if you've got the Samsung case on.

It is very good phone but inside screen can break when protection fall off. It is kinda kinda thick and hard to use without case as it scratches screen very easy. Case is very expensive around 80 puounds and breaks so fast. A lot of apps and watching movies are bad with open screen as aspect ratio is not good.

The fold out screen to mini-tablet size allows me to work on email etc. Very comfortably. Although this is a warranty replacement for my original Fold 4 which overheated in my pocket and failed to turn on ever again. So my only concern is long-term robustness and reliability.

Screen has cracked after 8 months of use. The screen protector (factory installed) initially failed within 3 months. Subsequently the foldable central screen has begun to crack in 3 places. This is now starting to damage the lcd pixels. Have contacted Samsung support but want £500 to replace! This is my second Fold. The same happened to my Fold 2 but took 2 years to go. I have now truly learnt my lesson! I am going back to a normal phone Bad show Samsung, especially for £2k device!

Do not buy!!! There is a reason that the care plus is provided free with the phone. The inner screens are unreliable and samsung will not cover it under warranty, you have to pay £115 excess fees. My screen developed a fault right on the fold, a slight pixle flicker at first and throughout the day a small circle of dead pixles developed. There was absolutely no signs of scratching or impact damage to the screen at all but where the Samsung case had been rubbing against the metal frame causing slight marks they used that as an excuse not to cover the fault under the manufactures warranty. I have always loved samsung products and spent thousands over the years on everything from TVs, washing machines, driers, smartthings equipment, speakers, earphones and have owned all the flagship phones and tablets, however their appalling approach to forcing customers to pay to fix an obvious reliability issue has meant I will never buy another Samsung product again.

I have started my Fold journey with Fold2. After a year and a half I pre-ordered Fold4. I now had it for a year. I have tried switching sides after a year, going with Apple 15 Pro Max, but I came back running to my Fold4. I cannot leave Samsung due to the OneUI multitasking, very efficient dnd mode, S Pen, Dex, task bar,, humongous internal screen, fantastic one handed external screen, but also due to the fact that Fold4 is the best phone I've ever owned. Sure, battery life could be better, but I understand that it degrades after a year, and yes cameras could be improved, but they're still decent enough to not be ashamed when sharing them with friends. Due to their commitement Samsung has a customer for life in me, and I just upgraded to Galaxy Watch 6 Classic as well, because it all just works flawlessly, and this is what you need nowadays. I have used my Fold 4 for everything one can imagine, from writing down scores on Speedway Races, using S Pen in PDF files, to editing videos in Luma Fusion, through playing games, up to watching movies, signing PDFs, editing photos with cut and paste in very powerful Samsung Gallery, working in Excel when connected to my Dell Dock D6000 and everything else that comes in to mind @samsunguk

An amazing phone I moved to a flip version rather than a fold and I missed the extra real estate I also missed the extra battery life. I have to say moving from the Z fold 3 to the Z fold 4 is a massive improvement weight-wise and also with the real estate because it is thinner lighter and has less bezels. I regretted moving to the flip from the fold 3 due to the battery size and battery longevity very glad to be back in the fold family.

What a shame. Upgraded to Andriod 14 and One UI version 6.1 and now the handset is very unstable on WiFI connection and on Bluetooth connection. The handset is constantly scanning for a wifi connection when I have other devices including Samsung devices already connected to it. Now in the car, it can't connect to the Bluetooth connection. I am guessing this is the same issue as WiFi This phone worked perfectly fine until I upgraded the operating system that Samsung pushed to me as the upgrade. I now can't downgrade it either.......... nice job Samsung.

Terrible phone spent nearly £2000 on this phone. After 8 months it doesn't open up fully. It's a common issue it seems with these phones. I would never recommend it after reading all tbe issues with this phone. Then the worst thing is if it repaired you get a refurbished phone not a new one. How can Samsung get away with this sort of behaviour. I will post this all over the Internet not to buy this or other models. A very upset customer.

Love this phone, I thought I wasn't but its gorgeous. I used to have the Note series and was so disappointed when they stop it, that I kept my note 10 plus 5G for an extra year thinking of what to do. Then came the fold, I wasn't interested until it was water proof but then waited again till this fold 4.i love it, it's easy to use, extremely impressive in a crowd, not too heavy and extremely fast with it 120HZ refresh rate. When I got the S pen Pro that made even more of a difference, its almost like have my Note again but just much better. I'm glad I went for this and don't ever think I'll regret it The only downside is if you have small-ish hands, you might struggle a bit But don't let that deter you, JUST GET IT and work things out after

DO NOT BUY!! I have not had my phone longer than 6 months and I consistently receive the "Moisture detected in changing port" error message. I have attempted several troubleshooting steps between Samsung support and various other tech websites to have none of them work. I cannot trust samsung phones anymore and am going to try to trade it in for a Google pixel 7 or Apple iPhone.

I'm really happy with my new phone - just one thing I can't use a micro sd card because there's no slot for one, so I cannot play music because all my music is stored on one - something which I should have checked out before I bought it (my fault) so i cannot rate the sound quality. It's like having two devices, a mobile phone & tablet in one brilliant for emails, texting, Internet, games etc., because the DISPLAY is so much clearer, same with the camera so much easier to get a wide angle picture. I'm really glad I got this phone.

Last Samsung phone I owned was way back in 2007, the Samsung UpStage (just recently threw it out along with the leather battery case not realising how rare the little thing is). Fold 4 has me firmly back with Samsung phones again. Its a beast of a device. Had mines now around 5 months. I love the size of it in the hand whilst folded and it looks amazing without the case but if your like me and keep it in your joggers pocket all day, the rubber case definitely stops it sliding out. Only gripe is that pen cant be used on outer screen. Its just a little qol thats missed. Keep it clean and use it unfolded. Its brilliant. I'm very confident with saying that I will always have a folding phone from now on or until we get all this data in a contact lens. Cheers Samsung.

The fold 4 is beyond an all night horror. I am always tearful whenever I think of it. Right in the middle of the night after charging, it switched itself off. In the morning, I tried to switch on but it didn't. After 24hours, it started overheating. Thinking it would explode. I'm so scared to to even try switching on. It is just lying there, useless after a battery change. I am so distressed and traumatised. It is simply a source of trauma, heartache and an entire waste of money. Pls pls stay away from fold phones.
I really enjoyed Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4, I can't imagine I can go back to a normal handset anymore.very versatile and reliable, all in all 5 stars, use it with care and love. This is.my 3rd z fold 4 the inside screen damages quite easily and clearly is a design flaw considering the handset is nearly £1800 for the 512gb I expect it to last more than 4 months at a time. The concept of having a larger screen is great though.

I would always see adverts for the fold and have to talk myself out of it in case it wasn't what I thought it would be. All I did was stop myself from having a great phone. I love the versatility of it. Being able to quickly use the front screen to reply to messages and then open up the big screen when I want to browser the internet or in my job look at wiring diagrams. The only thing I fear is the inside screen protector peeling. So far I have a tiny lip at the bottom but it's so minor.

Ive been using samsung mobile phones for the past 10 years and this Z fold 4 is the worst. The battery life is so poor that you need to charge it at least 3 times before the end of the day.

Z food 3 was OK now I have z fold 4 some things are better but not size smaller than fold 3 so not impressed with that it's fatter when open so not a good fit in hand prefer my fold 3 as for everything else so far f 3 and f 4 neck and neck f 3 better for holding battery wise not much difference and really not noticing any better front or back camera so I'll give it few more weeks if I've not seen any substantial improvements my daughter will get fold 4 for school illkeep my f 3

Well it took me a week to decide to go for the fold but I'm so happy that I did. Its hard to see what the phone is like in shops as its fixed in one position so you can't get a feel for the phone and I've always been a Note fan but I'll never go back to a normal boring phone again the folding phone is the future. Overall I'm very impressed with the galaxy z fold 4, I just think the battery is not as good as my previous galaxy s21 plus, also I don't like that the always on display clock dimness can no longer be adjusted. Previously you could tap the clock while on locked screen and it would give you the option of setting the brightness of the clock. Now at night time when I watch movies with the lights dimmed, I can't see what time is displayed, it's far too dim

Swapped from a Samsung s20 to the fold 4 and I'm blown away, both screen quality is amazing, the camera set up has allowed me to capture some amazing images, the power and processor to multi task is seemless and the phone does not lack under any high performance apps and also does not get hot I dont think I'll be stepping away from the fold world anytime soon, definitely best of both world of having a phone and a tablet built in one!

The Samsung z fold 4 is a great phone but I'm on my 3rd. OK I had the z fold 2 the main screen stopped working. I was due a upgrade so I got the z fold 4. After around 6 months or so the main screen cracked on the seem. Got a replacement. Everything seems to be OK at the moment. When the phone to picked up I tend to touch the phone on the Wake up sensor. It sends the phone into a mini melt down. Other than that it's a great phone

My phone has been repaired multiple times and is quite temperamental. The apps frequently malfunction, and over time, the crease in the middle of the screen worsens until the display eventually blacks out, requiring another repair. There has been no physical damage to the phone, as I keep it in a very protective case and have always used screen protectors. Despite these ongoing issues, the large screen is fantastic.
To start with the phone was brilliant but with time it has become terrible. The battery only lasts half a day and the phone now doesn't even get a signal and its not a network issue as other phones on the same network get signal. We had the screen protector changed at Samsung and now it doesn't unfold properly. The idea is good but overall not a great phone and we are looking forward to changing it in 5 months time.

Well done Samsung. The 2mm extra width in the main display makes this phone completely usable. Good cameras, beautiful screen. Make the front display a touch bigger and it would be perfect. Not far off as it is. A massively productive device for work and note taking.

The phone has its issue like the internal screen making a noise and started to turn the phone off and had it fixed by ee but not the same anymore will not be getting it agin and my last Samsung is had was a note 20 ultra and the turned off and I lost everything so I think that Samsung needs to start put the there customers first and work on there phone and I think that the customer service with Samsung is horrible.

Disgusted of the standard of service from Samsung. I have always been a fan of Samsung, I bought from their fridge/freezer with screen, frame tv to sound system. Always had latest Samsung phones. I bought the fold 4 soon after the hinges broke so it went in for a repair, 2 weeks later again same problem and so again went in for a repair. After few months the hinges broke again and so again went in for a repair. 3 times had the hinges repaired. Ever since the last repair was made the front screen freezes, so I decided I had night of this phone and asked for a replacement. Samsung refused to changed the phone with a like to like replacement and only offering a repair service. It clearly show that when something goes wrong Samsung will just push it to their user and will not help in anyway ways. I believe it was only fair to a replacement as it’s been in repair for 3 time.

Unfortunately, my experience was with terrible customer service. My phone was defective a month after I bought it. It was returned to me dirty with finger prints all over it. And with further damage to the screen where it looks like it was clamped in some sort of jig. Now I have to return it for a second time because the theres no sound and the screen doesn't work when unfolded.

Looks good but isn’t as fast or powerful as I’d have liked and developed a fault that made it shut off when unfolded which a little research was quite a common problem, as was the issue of them wriggling out of the warranty by claiming it had two dents on the rear ( which it hadn’t ). I will never buy a single Samsung product again, solely because I felt like I was robbed.
Folded, it fits in the pocket, opened its almost a tablet. Add a textured skin and its almost perfect. A little thinner and a little lighter would be good.

It was going well until the inner screen broke!! Need to send off for warranty repair but unlikely it will get fixed tag lots of reviews advising other people couldn't get a free fix and Samsung wanted to charge them a lot of money, for a serious design flaw. The galaxy fold 5 is OK, a bit over rated just like samsung themselves, trouble is that samsung as a whole are a bag of white, they don't care about there customers. If it wasn't for EE admitting fault on there side, I would still be missing about with your company lack of customer service. S o one star for Samsung and five for EE. You lost a valued customer here.
The idea itself is amazing to be able to open your phone to a bigger screen. But inner screen has a lot of issues I had to replace my phone after a year due to inner screen blacking out. There are also system issues such as the phone itself is slow and it freezes a lot. Overall its a good idea but there is some improment needed as this is not a long term phone

Good when it works Samsung have had my phone for 3 months in total they can't work out why the mix stopped working and keep sending back not fixed so stay clear from this phone spent 3 years saving on it to still not have the phone I paid for had to buy a Google pixel 7 as could not afford another phone at that price shame but when. Keyboard is too small front screen or too big as it has a gap om the inner screen. Samsung auto text changes words repeatedly and makes no sense. Samsung doesn't work well with google insisting use of Samsung software. Samsung password Manager signs out and forgets most passwords....very annoying. The pen in some apps is good and fun free wallpapers.

Had the screen protector fixed after nearly two years of owning it then two weeks later one of the screens packed up and Samsung wasn't very forthcoming to help again as it failed after two weeks of them having it 👎 I've had Samsung phones fir years now, but after this fold 4 which cost £1400 at the time, I can honestly say no more Samsungs for me.
I was in love with first Fold, even if it was just an "unfinished" phone. But with the 4, a dream comes true for me. I was used with Note series, so this was the best upgrade I had in my entire life. A water resistant foldable, feels so nice watching movies, football or gaming. Just love it. My next phone will be definitely another foldable.

I have stayed away from foldables until all the kinks have been ironed out and I finally believed this to be true of the zfold 4. I only had my s22 ultra just over 6 months and I seen the fold 4 and couldn't resist it when I was offered £720 trade in for my current device. I was nervous as on paper I was taking a downgrade on camera, screen brightness and battery. After 1 month of using my fold 4 I can tell you the battery and screen are amazing, full day and plenty bright. The speed of the device and versatility have blown me away. Whilst I do not regret changing to a foldable I do miss the camera of my s22 ultra. I really hope they find a way to perfect this almost perfect device. Also nexflix and disney plus have massive black lines top and bottom so cannot use this full beautiful screen. These drawbacks along with the massive price tag prevents it from being a 5 star product. Almost samsung, maybe the fold 5 will be the phone I was looking for.

Is it worth the heafty price tag is my question? The front screen for me is a little small and to type can be very annoying. Love the big screen aspect unfolding. It doesn't fold flat which poor and the screen protector needed replaced within 8 months. Not ideal. To compare the ultra 23 its not on the same level which disappointing.
Really good device love the mix of phone and tablet, very good build quality which I was not expecting always had samsung devices and I really think they are o to something here. Only issue I have is the battery is a little short but not so bad it is a deal breaker. The last thing is the cameras are more than adequate.

I will never have a folding phone again. I only had mine for 6 months when huge lines appeared across the middle of the screen. The bottom screen flashes and then either doesn't work or goes very dark. Trying to get the phone fixed seems to be impossible even though it is under warrenty and insured via Sky???

Just few months, the phone isn't fully opening, took it to the repair centre, no service up to the mark, they said they'll order the parts, which is entire screen and the body of phone, that's so low standard, if it was apple they would have replaced the entire phone then and there, not getting Samsung again.

Middle display already repaired 3 times so always just in repair centre and now its broken again. This is the worst phone I ever had. Always fighting with warranty. I already thinking about swap from Samsung on Apple and I used to be real fan of Samsung and have to had all new models straight away.

After owning the device less than a year and barely using it unfolded, the screen started to separate and the hinge was crunching. It would no longer open flat. The warranty repair was excellent and they even renewed the battery but unfortunately this has put me off ever buying another fold device.

My zfold4 stop completely folding after 10 months,. The warranty refuse to fix coz I had minor scratches on case, they send me a bill approximately 650£ for fixing. I used genuine protection case for samsung claimed when I bought the phone. Genuine case for samsung don't cover the hinge, so .....

Great phone...the big screen is such a game changer...takes using your phone to a new level...the speed...the quality the graphics are amazing...I watched videos of it and a few youtubers said once you've had a fold you won't go back to a normal phone...but it's true...I absolutely love it!

you will surely have black line in middle soon or later. I've paid over 2k for this, after while black line and panel only works with stylus. My friend with same issue. Samsung will ignore you ... they think they have plenty of business. But my next appliance will never be Samsung.

The phone initially was great, however the front screen touch no longer works, battery drains stupidly quick and contacting Samsung is a nightmare as you never get a real person. Therfore I have just put up with big screen only. I will be looking at other options for my next phone

Absolutely amazing phone. So many features and brilliant camera. I live the fact that for normal calls I use the front screen. But then anything with video or making payments the 'unfolded',screen is like a mini tablet. Think I'm hooked on z fold for the foreseeable future.

No longer have the phone. I sold it shortly after having it repaired as the hinge had failed. I was disappointed that this had broken as it meant I was left without a phone and as I use it for banking and shopping quite a lot, it meant that I had to source another phone.

I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
