I’ve been really impressed with this smart watch. Straight away, it looks sleek and premium, with a comfortable fit that works well for all-day wear without feeling bulky. Galaxy watch 8 is a great looking watch slim and not bulky, the Ai features are great and work well apart from sometimes when you summon Bixby nothing happens, that's the same with Google Gemini you say 'Hey Google' and nothing not like Google assistant that responds straight away. All the Samsung health features work smoothly on the Galaxy watch 8.... battery life around 2 days but with battery saver on you can squeeze 4 days but you lose a few health tracking features. Other than that's its a great looking watch packed with great features very happy so far 👍🏻

Upgrading from my Galaxy Watch5 40mm to the Watch8 40mm has been a really positive change. Setup was super quick and straightforward so I had it up and running in no time. I mainly use my watch for health tracking, and the improvements here are noticeable. Exercise tracking I think is more accurate, sleep insights are a bit more detailed, and the new heart features for Vascular Loading give me extra peace of mind as I suffered a heart attack back in 2022 so I particularly like to keep an eye on things there! (My Watch5 actually showed my heart blockage on ECG and so I went to the hospital where I may have not otherwise). I also appreciate the new features, AGES index and Antioxidant Index as it’s actually encouraging me to push myself to being that bit more healthier. A thinner lighter watch than the Watch5, it’s more comfortable to wear day and night, which makes the sleep tracking more practical. I’ve not managed to get it to report on Sleep Apnea as yet, still working on that one! Day to day, I love being able to control my music on my Bluetooth speaker straight from my wrist, and the integration with the SmartThings app has been great. I can link it to other Samsung devices in my home and control them without reaching for my phone which is a small convenience that actually makes a big difference when busy around the house. Compared to my Watch5, the Watch8 feels faster, the screen is brighter and sharper, and the battery lasts me a solid couple of days. Plus, I like that I don’t feel pressured to load it up with social media apps. It helps me stay connected where it matters, but not distracted and constantly having pings going off on my watch! I am looking forward to changing the default silicone Sport Band strap at some point, I’ve never really got on with them. They usually make my skin flare up, particularly in the summertime when there’s not a lot we can do to avoid our skin perspiring. Overall, the Watch8 feels like a proper upgrade because it's sleek, easy to use, and genuinely useful for both health tracking and smart home control. If Samsung could figure out how to make the battery life even better it would be a 6/5. Very happy to have it on my arm.

Watch is nice and comfortable, nice bright screen. Additional health apps insightful, though jury's out on antioxidant as nearly everyone seems to be very low. Big disappointment is battery life, less than my watch 7 (both 44mm).

I love my Galaxy watch. The upgrade is really helpful. I feel like I have a lot more information about fitness and can track my diet, sleep, and exercise quite closely, which makes it much easier to make changes and improve my overall fitness, and see the benefits of that. I'm new to smart watches, so it was important to me to get a watch that was easy to learn, and cover all the expectations of what a watch should be able to do. The galaxy 8 certainly lived up to my expectations. The ease of each feature surpassed my expectations. I was set up and ready to go, with no real problems. The features, and functions, helped me to love this watch. Battery life lasts about 3 days, which isnt bad! The watch face is clear, and it's my lifeline if by phone is at the bottom of my bag!!!!

The battery of my new watch is worse than my old galaxy 6 watch. It doesn't hold 24hr charge. To confirm always on display is off, heart rate monitor is off etc. Also, it takes 2 hours to fully charge the watch. I contacted customer services and they were useless, at one point i had someone hand up the phone on me. So basically if you want your battery to last 24 hours you need to wear it on watch only. What is the point of having all these fancy features when you're telling me I can't use it or the battery will last 20 hours with 2 hours charge time. This is my 4th galaxy watch and last. I will be moving away from samsung. Not to mention the battery on my Galaxy s25 ultra watch won't even last 12 hours without aod.

The watch was super easy to set-up and I was pleasantly surprised by the elegant and minimalist design. It looks luxurious, yet I found the watch very lightweight and comfortable to wear. Display is bright, crisp, and incredibly smooth, even outdoors in direct sunlight. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate between features and customize settings to fit my needs. I like the new antioxidant test which saves me a trip to the doctors and I can check it anytime I want. I enjoy using the Google’s voice-activated AI assistant to check my diary, text messages etc so much easier than having to get my phone out. I have only had it a few days now but I have tried a few of the features like heart rate and sleep apnea and they work really well, and it has been managing my health activity tracking really well. I like the fact that I can stay in the know with a glance at my Watch, receive the latest notifications from multiple apps and use the multi-info tile and Now bar and keep up to date with the latest news. I found fitting the straps quite easy however detaching them took me a while so hopefully over time I will get the hang of it as I do like to change my straps regularly.

I bought this to replace my Galaxy Watch5. This is amazingly so much lighter on the wrist that you forget you even have it on. I love the new design. The straps have a button on each side to remove. So much better than the fiddly pin style straps. There are a number of watch faces. Spoilt for choice. It has a few new features, antioxidant level, Vascular load and AGE. I did find yesterday that the screen got stuck for a few minutes (no idea why). If you have a GalaxyWatch5 I would recommend updating to the Galaxy Watch8. Overall I am very happy with it.

I'm a bit disappointed, the battery doesn't last that long, a day at most, and then it has to be recharged it's only been 2 weeks using it and I noticed the battery life isn't so good 😕 Apart from that I'm happy with the watch.

The smartwatch is lovely, the Display is large enough to see everything clearly, light weight and easy to set up. The battery runs very low quickly and has to charged every other day which is disappointing, i'd expect it to last a lot longer before it needed to be charged. Connecting it to Bluetooth and WI-FI was very easy to do too. Biggest disappointment was try to do my Blood Pressure and ECG. I calibrated the blood pressure like i was told to do and then went to take a reading on my watch only for a message to come stating New Update Available for the Samsung Heath Monitor, i click OK and the Galaxy Store opens up on my phone i click UPDATE and another message appears. Turn on WI-FI on your watch to install this app faster. WI-FI is already turned on so i wait for the app to Download, 24hrs later and it still hasn't downloaded. I've since read some of the reviews for this app and the vast majority of the reviews are having the same problem. I bought this watch as i have a few other items from samsung so i thought even though it's not a cheap watch i thought it would be of good quality and have outstanding performance but sadly thats not the case. i'm very dissapointed in such a big company not rectifying issue As this Samsung Health Monitor app has had an ongoing problem since at least early 2025. You pay for a product and expect it to deliver all it's supposed to do after all and as this doesn't i can only give it a 2 star rating

I think that what Samsung have done with the tiles on the Watch8 makes it much better. The ability to group related "thumbnail" topics is really helpful. The faster charging is a game changer which enables me to wear the watch at night - previously I have been using the Galaxy Ring to monitor my sleep, now I can do everything from the one device. The one area that seems a bit flaky to me is the antioxidant measurement. I try to eat a decent amount of vegetables, carrots in particular, but it reports as very low.

The step counter jumped by 23 steps when i stopped for a drink when walking home for 2.5miles, i didn't even move, only to reach down into my bag as i saw it on the back of my hand change whilst on the walking work out app. Also i was not impressed to find out that the Anti Oxident meter is a gimmick because it tests how orange your skin is by eating carotenoids, no wonder it suggests eating pumpkins, because these and carrots are loaded with the orange pigment. Its not a true anti oxidant reading, as i have tested it during alcohol consumption and it never went down. Other than these two flaws its been great, it needs charging every day or two, depending upon screen usage, i also wish the strap was a little longer to get it around my ankle, because i am not allowed watches in work.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 a while ago as I wanted to match with my phone.....brilliant functions and syncs to everything on the phone....I get 2 days battery life which is about the same as the Apple Watch. Samsung made this stylish with top grade material..... Comfort of the strap makes it feel great wearing it all day....has every kinda fitness mode including darts and pool....tracks all vitals including energy, Sleep Apnea, ECG and Blood Pressure

I have had many versions of the Galaxy watch, from the 4 classic onwards. My last model as the watch 6 and it served me very well and was nothing wrong with it, but with some good offers to be had on a trade in the upgrade to the 8 was so worth it. the 8 is by far the most comfortable to wear to exercise, sleep and everything in between. I found the running coach surprisingly good and has really improved my 5k ability and time is improving along with that.

This is simply the best galaxy watch I've had and I've had 5 out of 8 of them. Admittedly they obviously get better each iteration so you'd expect by the 8th for the tech to be insanely good. And it is! It's superb. Frankly I don't know how I've done without all the features on the 8 in my entire life. I love the antioxidants tech, the new sleep features, the actual screen is amazing. It's an amazing phone and I would recommend wholeheartedly!

Look wise, it's lovely. Nice simple looking, stylish watch. I can't use all the features which is another annoying downfall. As you need a Samsung phone to get all features, which I don't have. The features I can use are good. It's annoying that I need my phone plugged in for the use of some of the sleeping features. My biggest reason for the low stats is the fact I have to charge up my watch every single day, and that's with out all the features being used. I literally use it just as a watch because it drains the battery when in full use. Now I did have a cheap £20 watch that lasted 2 weeks before charging. So how come a Samsung watch can't do that? I'm actually gutted that I should have just got a replacement £20 watch instead of spending out a fortune on a watch that doesn't keep a good charge. For this I just can't justify giving more stars.

I bought this 3 weeks ago, it's comfortable, looks good. Im pretty heavy handed and the scratch resistance is good! The battery lasts around 3 days sometimes less depending on how active you are. The watch is easy to use, it tends to give step by step guidance. Tracks activity/sleep and your cycle. Telephone call connection is pretty clear too through the watch making it easy on the go! All round it's a good watch and im happy with it.

I am more than satisfied with the functions and size of my Galaxy Watch 8. I have downsized from the Gaxlaxy 6 pro which has become too bulky for me. The slimmer Watch 8 is exactly what I needed and the functions are great. Only downside is that I am getting about 24 hours battery life. I would have liked to get the full 30 hours. I have minimized the apps and functions that chew through battery but 24 hour is about the best I get.

I absolutely love my Samsung Galaxy Watch. It looks great, is comfortable to wear, and has excellent battery life. The fitness tracking features are very accurate, and it helps me stay motivated with my daily walks, hikes, and health goals. Very light and comfortable to wear. Don't feel it on. Screen is very clear to read whether it's bright or dark outside or inside. Loving the new fitness apps such as the AGEs index, vascular load and Antioxidant index. Although not sure how accurate the Antioxidant is. I eat a lot of fruit and veg but it tells me it is very low or low. I love the choice of the watch faces, especially the new ones.

Been using this watch for a few weeks now and love it. Bought to replace a discontinued model. New watch looks good, easy to wear and gentle on my middle aged eyes! Don't use it to the max (running etc) but find it provides more than I need. Alarm and calls show on the watch allowing me to answer - which I like. Only issue is that l am charging the watch every Absolutely recommend this watch.

Watch8 is huge. I got the 40mm one but the new design is awful in reality and way bigger than the previous round ones. Most AI features are already available on the watch7 & are really useful (particularly the sleep insights) but although I got a good trade-in deal the watch8 is really not much further on than it's predecessor, and looks awful. Plus you can't use your old straps!

I’m loving my galaxy 8 watch, very easy to set up, seems to be accurate on my steps etc, only thing I’m unsure of is the calories it says I burn, I can’t believe I’m burning as many as my watch says. Love been able to setup my own favourite picture for clock face, still getting to grips with something’s but yes a good alround watch. Would recommend to family and friends

Brilliant Smart Watch which can be configured to one’s personal needs. Find it very useful to have set up Google Pay for multiple credit/debit cards. Watch strap is very comfortable. The Samson Health feature records sleep patterns and features step counter. My Samson Galaxy A52 5G mobile phone is paired with the watch so that many functions are displayed on the watch.

My watch records all my health including sleep, AGE, Vascular Health and antioxidant health. It also provides coaching tips for sleep and records how much oxygen intake you took in at night as well as how quickly it took you to sleep. It also provides you with an energy score and gives great tips for improving health. I can use it smoothly with my phone which I love

Bought to replace an existing older Galaxy Watch. The new watch fits welll, although a little 'proud' of my wrist. Biggest disappointment is the lack of compatability with all of my existing wireless chargers. Very wasteful and not at all 'green'. Also there is no ability to powershare from my Galaxy phone. This would've been useful to know before purchase

Absolutely rubbish. This Watch 8 is worse than my old Samsung watch and a complete waste of money. Every Samsung watch I’ve owned has had poor battery life, never lasting a full day, but this one is by far the worst. What’s the point of having a sleep tracker if the battery doesn’t even last through the night? Extremely disappointing.

I am really pleased with this watch. Ive had it for two weeks now. I like the big screen, its clear and easy to read. I think the sleep information is much better than my old samsung watch. Lots of information is given, which was important to me. I like the GPS when walking, its very accurate. I also get a lot of good information regarding my walks, from steps, to calories burnt. Again, I wanted this. I like the fact I get texts etc on my phone. I have my phone in my locker at work and can still pick up calls and messages etc. I wasn't keen on the strap colour, but I ordered some separately . The only downside for me is the battery life, I do charge it every night. It charges very quickly, faster than my old watch. I know with Fitbits, there battery lasts days. I think thos one would probably last a say and a half, maybe a bit longer. All in all im very pleased and would recommend, especially if you have a samsung phone, as it links into the health app.

Galaxy Watch 8 is great with some helpful and useful functions.. only downside it seems to use the battery really quickly meaning I haven't had a full day without having to charge it at some point during the day rather than over night also sleep functions only work when being worn so then restricts it's charging.

Bought last month as a gift for my partners birthday. It took a while to sync with his phone (Samsung z fold 7) but niw that they’re connected it’s brilliant. He never misses calls now as his watch shakes to tell him his phones ringing. Notifications and health tracking are really useful features

Great watch. Contrary to reviews I have read, the battery life is fine. I easily get 2 days from it and it only takes 2 hours to charge too. Very comfortable to wear. Clear display. Using the GPS and running Strava direct on the watch is superb. Records exercise, heart rate etc. Really pleased.

Its an excellent watch but so much more. I test my heart, pulse, steps and sleep quality. I use the phone which I didnt think I would and the phone quality is very good. I use alarm on daily bases. Weather app I could go on and on. I love this watch and would recommend to others

Very poor service from Samsung throughout, I bought the Watch 8 and soon after tried to claim my free charger and spare strap. Since completing my claim I have no response, when I try follow this up I get. Message email address not found. Very disappointing overall.

Good smart watch does pretty much everything.... I can even make rude GIFs as my screen 😂 Battery with all settings on is pants but if you take always on display off and wake up only on touch screen, you can get upto 4 day's of battery.

I lobe the new design of my watch compared to my Galaxy watch Active2. Even though I have the 40mm watch8, I find the the screen and bezel much easier to use and see. I also like some of the new watch faces that are on there.

Love my watch and full of features, but unless I turn the features off when not in use the battery lasts less than a day. Very different to my fitbit which lasted 4 to 5 days even with lots of features turned on.

The only thing letting this watch from getting 5 stars is the battery life which is far shorter than it ought to be. For me, I'd rather have a slightly thicker, heavier watch all taken up by a bigger battery.

The health app features are much improved on other smartwatches I have owned. The watch looks great and is comfortable to wear. Unless you switch off many of the feaytures, the battery life is very short.
