I already own a gaming laptop but wanted something smaller and lighter for frequent travel, plus something my other half could use too, which is why I got the smaller 14" model. I am blown away by how tiny this thing is, it's thinner than my phone if you include the camera island and barely noticeable in a backpack. Really the perfect fit for my use case. It boots incredibly quickly, faster than anything else I've used, which lends itself well to using it on the go. It's also nice and snappy even compared to my gaming laptop. Not so surprising given its premium price tag, but even expensive thin-and-lights can be sluggish. Not the case here. The screen is great bright and vibrant. Everything you expect from a good Samsung screen, and it being a touchscreen is very useful on the go. And the battery life seems solid. Time will tell how that changes over time. Overall you get what you pay for here. No compromises and a premium experience all-round.

Firstly, all positive reviews are incentivised, so be warned. The purchased laptop is good value for money given the current RAM prices. I like the metal chassis; it's lightweight and thin, and the haptic trackpad is the best I have ever used. The keyboard is a little shallow and hard to press, and it makes my fingers hurt after only a short while, but I am sure I will get used to it. But this is where things go downhill quickly: The laptop sometimes creaks, I think it's the bottom lid, but I'm not sure. When picking it up, it creaks; when putting my hands on the palm rest, it creaks. It does not fill me with confidence. This is the second one I purchased, and the first also made creaking, and even cracking, sounds when I picked it up with one hand. I asked support, and they said it was normal due to things rubbing inside… err, no, it's not! It also continued to make those sounds. It's an ultrabook, it will sometimes be moved or picked up with one hand. The warranty is a joke. It comes with one year, but for more, you have to purchase insurance, which is bundled with an extended warranty, really just one extra year, and it costs alot. This is not acceptable. In the past, I have managed to extend the warranty on my laptops for up to four years at very reasonable prices, industry standard. If you are buying a highend portal laptop, the upto 4 years warranty is needed. Lastly, and this is the big one: the “up to 30 hours” battery life is a complete lie, albeit a legal one. This laptop, and the one I returned, barely last seven hours on a full charge, and that is just from browsing at 80% brightness and doing nothing intensive. It's bad, really bad. If you read reviews, they get around 12 hours by putting the screen brightness way down, but to be honest, at that point you might as well get a basic laptop with a 250-nit display. My five-year-old gaming laptop with a desktop CPU could do six hours… I also want to say that thermals are excellent with the fans rarely turning on, Wi-Fi 7 is awesome, and the display is nice but has colour shift when moving my head left and right, but it's not that much better than a top-of-the-range IPS 12-bit panel. Performance is also a bit odd: in some places it's snappy, but in others it really struggles (e.g. right-clicking on the desktop).

My screen cracked a month after purchase, shame on you Samsung

En effet, et en tenant compte des habitudes d’utilisation des produits Samsung de la majorité des utilisateurs, Samsung a révisé sa stratégie en retirant les chargeurs et écouteurs de ses dernières gammes Galaxy. Pour soutenir notre communauté Galaxy dans cette démarche, Samsung ne fournit donc plus les écouteurs et le chargeur avec ses smartphones. Samsung est fermement convaincu que le retrait des chargeurs et des écouteurs peut contribuer à résoudre le problème croissant des déchets électroniques et, par la même occasion, éviter à ses clients l’achat systématique de nouveaux chargeurs et/ou écouteurs. Enfin, les utilisateurs des produits Galaxy peuvent continuer à utiliser leurs écouteurs et leurs chargeurs actuels en toute quiétude sans devoir en acheter de nouveaux. I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
