I’ve only had it 18 months and the extractor motor went with a big bang in Xmas day this year 2022. I will try chasing up the issues with Samsung who I bought directly from.

It has a very good extraction, unfortunately it started showing signs of rust on the upper part of the hood as soon as it was mounted. Would not recommend it just because of this

Didn't arrive on the date I specified when ordering, didn't work when it did arrive, the technician who Samsung sent to fix it has left it with multiple scratches, and it's so loud even on the quietest setting it sounds like a plane is taking off in our kitchen. Thought paying extra for a brand like Samsung would be worth it in terms of quality, but couldn't have been more wrong!

Unless you have a perfectly Flat Wall and a Ceiling totally square to the wall and DO NOT have partially tiled walls, then this product is extremely difficult to fit. Additionally the top mounting bracket is extremely flimsy and bends very easily. The Chimney ducting is also extremely flimsy and continually pops out of the channel all in all Poorly designed and constructed.

Very Noisy, more than that the LED lights stops working now and then, works for some moths then stops working for another few weeks, called engineer to fix the issue, issue fixed for time being but started again, would like to get it fixed or replaced before warrant expires, waste of my time and money chasing Samsung support and engineer. Products like this should be hassle free, there is lot of other tings to priorities in life.

Brought and fitted a couple of years ago now and although we keep the filter clean (as recommended) the suction from the motor just doesn’t seem to remove the cooling smoke. Is there something we need to do to clean the motor or is this a sealed unit and unable to maintain?

It has 3 speed motor with additional boost speed. I don't understand why the lowest speeds are so fast and thus extremely loud.
