About the collaborators:

George the Poet & Benbrick:

George the Poet is a London-born spoken word performer of Ugandan heritage. His innovative brand of musical poetry has won him critical acclaim both as a recording artist and a social commentator.

In 2018 Benbrick started working with spoken word artist George The Poet; composing the original score, and producing what would become Have You Heard George’s Podcast? After releasing 8 episodes in Chapter 1 #HYHGP was described as “a story that could change the world” by Radio 4. The podcast won 5 Gold British Podcast Awards including the coveted Podcast of the Year award, it received press in The New York Times, The Guardian, The Times, Financial Times, and GQ.
