This is an appaling product. As all other reviews have said, the rubber lip which provides the screen protection should the phone be dropped has come apart from the case after 3 months. The service from Samsung on the basis of the fault is non existent. It has taken me 3 separate teams and more requests than I can count before they would even agree to raise as a complaint. Furthermore, Consumer Rights seem like a strange concept to them. Once this phone contract ends my relationship with Samsung is finished based on this experience. 19 days later, hours of time and still no resolution. Meanwhile, I have had to buy a new case to ensure my phone isn't damaged.

I bought this Samsung case in February and after only 8 months the trim started delaminating. Looking at other reviews, it’s clearly a widespread manufacturing fault. What makes it worse is Samsung’s customer service. Instead of simply replacing a faulty product, I’ve spent hours being passed around, offered only a voucher, and had to push hard just to get my consumer rights acknowledged. Very poor support for a brand like Samsung. A phone case should last longer than a few months — this is not the quality or service I expected.

Unfortunately, this case has failed within a couple of months. The plastic around the front edge of the case is separating from the sides. It's a shame, because otherwise it's a nice case. It offers good protection, especially on the corners, and feels nice in the hand - far less 'slippery' than the phone itself. Sadly, the lack of durability of this edging means that I cannot recommend it and I'm now looking for a new case.

Had this samsung rugged phone cover nearly 7 months. The trim around edge is coming away, so not so sure this impedes the protection of the phone. Not fit for purpose. I've contact samsung and would not offer a replacement only £20 voucher. No where near the price i paid. Will not buy another case from samsung.

I bought the case about a month ago. The plastic around the rim of the case is detaching already in normal use. I rang Samsung customer service and they refused to help saying it's beyond 14 days return window!! This case is very bad quality and not suitable for purpose.

Not rugged and not fit for purpose. I bought one when I bought the phone and like everyone else the rubber top of the case came away from the main housing. I rather foolishly then bought a second one and that did the same thing. Have spent nearly an hour on the phone to Support and managed to get £25 voucher, which is something I guess. Not hugely impressed with the whole experience.

Good case but edging comes away after a few months. Samsung only offer 6 months warranty so they are not confident in their product quality. Chatted to sales/customer support and what a waste of time that was. Will never buy another case from them. Stay away from this product and at £38 its a massive waste of money

It's certainly rugged and has protected my phone from various drops OK but as everyone else has said the trim starts to de-laminate after a few months careful use, which is just unacceptable. No-one at Samsung seems to have any accountability to do the right thing and send out replacements free of charge which is awful customer service, having spent a large amount on the phone itself. I decided to take the case off the phone and carefully super-glued the trim back in place and it's been OK ever since. That was 5 months ago.
