I upgraded from a a33 and my a55 is so advanced compared to the a33. It has great battery excellent performance and durability. Even though it's not a flagship it feels like one with the glass back and front and aluminium case

I bought this at the end of last year to replace my A71 which died suddenly, no sickness period, no warning just dead :( As I wanted a replacement, I wanted it to be as good or better than the A71 and in some ways it is, however, for what I need it for, this A55 lets me down as I now have to choose between having a dual SIM or a memory card. I need both a second SIM and a memory card for my day-to-day so this was a complete let down, as not all networks currently offer an e-SIM.

So i have had this device for a month now. After I received it, I was a little taken aback as it was bigger than I had envisaged, and much chunkier too, however I have grown to really both of these aspects. As a left handed person, it is great to now have front screen functions I can customise for myself. My previous phone all buttons were on the right hand side, so no unlocking etc unless phone is in your right hand! Anyhow, this pho e is much sturdier than my previous device, I'd never broken a phone until that one, Flip 4 and more than once too. The hinge was far more flimsy than you would want, and both times it got dropped, hinge was f××ked. Then the fold function started to fail, so if you folded it, it shutdown and wouldn't restart. So, same functionality on the A55, all my themes, wallpapers etc fit fine and work well, easy transfer process, do t think I lost anything, although it did take a while to shift everything. Many covers available also, can customise like before. Great camera, nice pictures and battery life is good, lasting more than a day, despite browsing regularly, some social media, streaming etc. Good size screen, delivers exactly what I want at a great price. Charges quickly also and links to all usual devices, cast to tv etc etc. Also multi SIM, compatable with SIMs from overseas. I have one eSIM & space for 2 physical SIMs, however if 3 fitted, one must be off at all times. No real explanation, as to why, but i dont need it anyway. Everything you want and expect from Samsung.

This device is the best! Although I've experienced some freezes while playing games, im very happy with it! Im always playing and taking pictures and this phone can handle both! The battery life is great too! I have no problem connecting with my buddies using 5G and the display is quite nice too.

For a 70 year old man and incurable "news junkie," the Samsung Galaxy A55 is a great match. I wanted and got a display nearly 7 inches acrossl and the 5,000 mah battery is perfect, after my previous phone battery started to misbehave. Sure, the A55 doesn't have the performance of Samsung's prestigious S series, but my needs are modest. Here's hoping I'll still be using my phone in 2030!

The phone doesnt seem to have any problems, the charge lasts for quite a while which is very impressive. The camera is amazing, the photos are always great quality, i even have them made to put on the wall. I was given this phone as my A53 was constantly faulty, havent had any of that with this phone, the performance is excellent

As a phone its perfectly adequate but is let down by the camera and editing software. My previous similarly priced Nord Oneplus was superior in all aspects and if the new Oneplus wasnt so bulky I would swap phones. I now use my old phone for photos and my Samsung for everything else. Disappointed.

I have the A55 and my wife the A54. We frequently have issues connecting to WiFi in the US and abroad. What is strange is that one phone may connect to a network and the other not. Resets, new SIM Cards, etc.have not resolved the issues. This sometimes challenging when needing to navigate using Google Maps.

To be honest, I'm very disappointed with the phone in general! The battery life is poor and I have to charge it at least every 24 hours, often sooner! I had been told that it would last a good 2 days. In fact, the battery doesn't even last as long as my old, much cheaper one! The camera is also poor! Again, I was told it was good. However, unless lighting extra is absolutely perfect, it doesn't take decent photos. This was something I REALLY needed to be good! It's heavy. Something that wasn't overly noticeable when I tried it in store, but definitely makes it uncomfortable to hold for any length of time. I also find having to press the 2 buttons together to 'power off', very difficult at times. These MUST be pressed in sync or it goes to volume control instead. VERY annoying! Lastly, it's a nuisance to have to press a button at the side and then biometrics on screen every time to waken the screen. Just biometric on the side is SO much easier! I had bought Motorola phones before and found them decent for the price. This time I decided to go with Samsung because of their reputation. While it obviously wasn't an expensive phone, it was the most I'd spent on one. A disappointing experience and I'll not be buying another 😕

II have been using this phone for over a month and it has not disappointed me. I like everything about this device. The price is good. The performance and the battery is also good for this price price range. Cameras are also good. However, sometimes they can get a little bit soft. Not bad but not excellent for this price range. You can get better cameras for cheaper price. I would rate cameras 8 out of 10. Overall I like this phone and I recommend it if cameras are not your top priority. I love it! The design is just about the same as my previous Samsung Galaxy, I've updated and I will not have any other type of phone, only Samsungs. Camera is perfect, very clear, very easy to use. The display is brilliant, again similar to my previous phone. The battery, both charging and usage, much better than my previous phone. Performance is just great. I'm glad I updated. But I will only continue to use Samsung phones and I will update in 2 years, again to Samsung. This one though, first class! Highly recommend it.

When calling people/customers I can hear them. Then all of a sudden they can't hear me. Very frustrating. Takes to long to conext when making a call. Considering going back to my old A12. Never had any of these problems.

Lots of storage and great camera. But constant Google assist pop ups when trying to type (even with feature fully turned off) is driving me up the wall. Just seems to do it's own thing and makes me regret getting the phone. Please sort it out in an update as I know it's a common annoyance!

It is too heavy and too slippery to be used. I don't like it. The OS is full of bloatware that I'll never use, and I don't like the UI. All in all, I deeply egret my purchase, especially as you don't seem interested in updating my software any time soon.

The phone is very easy to use because all my previous accounts were connected to gmail, had it ready it go within minutes. It performs extremely well for a mid range phone, and on top of this the battery lasts very long and charges very quick. The camera is also decent but it's not a lot to shout about. Still, 5/5.

My phone is just what I expected. My previous model was an A52s so this model was bought as an upgrade. It very much follows the way the A52s worked. I sm very pleased with my phone. Very easy to use as all my Samsung phones have been. In fact I only ever look at Samsung for a new phone. I'm not even tempted by any other brand.

I'm very pleased with my new Samsung Galaxy A55 phone.. I like the larger screen and it's perfect for watching YouTube videos.. the camera seems to be a very high spec also, producing great pictures..my previous Galaxy S23 was 256GB storage, whereas my new A55 is only 128GB of storage, so not as good for that which is the only negative for me as I would like more storage capacity.. Overall though I'm really impressed with my new A55 phone.

Only problem I have is increasing the number of rings before it goes to ansamachine. Have tried typing in code and adding number of seconds but doesn't seem to work unless I'm doing something wrong

The screen is big, bright and the phone works for all the apps I need.Somwtimes I have issues connecting this phone to my alexa but overall very happy with my experience.

Camera is very good, battery lasts longer than expected and overall performance is amazing. The display is tremendously big compared to what I had before and it's wonderful how everything can be customised. The connectivity between apps and how they all can work together is fantastic as well.

Love Samsung phones. I am not an expert, but I find this phone easy to use and like the size of it. Really good camera. I bought it because I wanted night mode for photos, and it didn't disappoint.

Great display and excellent storage space. Only downside is the phone must be on for the alarm clock to work.

Generally happy but some issues; No Macro option oh the camera. Quite difficut to get close focus, a macro button would select the other option automatically Changing between apps that are already open is really clunky, sideswiping does not work, trying to select the main screen when an app is "minimised" siply opens the app in full screen Two many Samsung apps complicating things main issue was with Calendar. Had to uninstall Samsung calendar . Not the only case with this Happy with waterproffing and sound/screen quality I would recommend Samsung to others but why change Android?

O2: Each April, your monthly subscription charge will increase by the Retail Price Index (RPI) rate published in February of that year plus 3.9%.

If RPI is negative, only the 3.9% will be applied.
