How to enable Raise wrist to wake on your Samsung Galaxy Watch
The Raise wrist automatically turns on your Galaxy Watch screen when you lift your wrist. This lets you quickly check the time and notifications without pressing a button. You can enable Raise wrist directly on your watch or through the Wearable app on your phone.
Please note: When Power saving mode is enabled, Raise wrist to wake feature may be limited. This feature may also be disabled when Sleep mode or Theatre mode is active. You may also notice a slight deley in the screen turning on depending on usage conditions.
When you have your watch on hand, you can quickly enable this feature directly on the watch.
Step 1. Swipe up to open the Apps screen > Open Settings.
Step 2. Tap Display.
Step 3. Enable Raise wrist to wake.
You can also enable this feature from your phone on a larger screen.
Step 1. Open the Wearable app on your phone.
Step 2. Tap Watch settings.
Step 3. Tap Display.
Step 4. Enable Raise wrist to wake.
