What is happening to the Samsung Sound App?

From March 2027, the standalone Samsung Sound app will be integrated into SmartThings to provide a more streamlined and connected user experience.

In app notification:
Following the latest app update, you will see a pop-up notification when you open the Samsung Sound app, prompting you to register your devices in the SmartThings app.

Your soundbar or other audio device settings will transfer seamlessly once you register your devices in SmartThings using your Samsung account.

Affected models:
This integration applies to the following Samsung audio devices from the 2024, 2025 and 2026 ranges.
