You may be able to find a compatible wall mount from our accessories or spare parts page. Our wall mounts come with an easy installation guide and all the hardware required for installation.

Please consult the paper user manual supplied with your TV for the exact spacing of the wall mount points. If you cannot find your paper user guide, please visit Samsung support and enter your model number to download an electronic copy.

Please note: for information around your specific TV model, please see your user guide. You can also contact the manufacturer of your VESA wall mount to ask about compatibility

When deciding where to mount your TV you should refer to the provided user manual, however there are a few things that you should keep in mind.

  • The TV should not be placed in an area where it is exposed to a heat source, such as near a radiator or over a fireplace
  • The TV should not be placed in an area where it is exposed to direct sunlight
  • Unless specified, the TV cannot be exposed to water. Do not mount the TV near water or in a room with high humidity
  • For the most comfortable viewing, the centre of the TV should be at eye level
  • Mount the TV on a solid wall that is perpendicular to the floor. You should not mount the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall

To ensure that your TV has proper ventilation, the top, bottom, and sides should be at least 10 cm away from other objects.

We recommend the use of a compatible Samsung wall mount as it will come with all the hardware and instructions for a trouble-free installation. Samsung are not responsible for third party wall mounts, their instructions or supplied accessories. For further information you should contact the manufacturer of your wall mount.

Please make sure that you have someone to help you when you are lifting and moving the TV. You should always have two people to mount the TV onto a wall. For TVs sized 82 inch or larger, it is recommended to have four people. If you don't feel comfortable mounting the TV yourself, please contact a professional to help you.

Detailed instructions on how to install your wall mount will be provided with your specific mount, however the videos below may help.

Please note: if you mount your TV on a wall, follow the instructions exactly as set out by the mount manufacturer. Unless mounted correctly, the TV may slide or fall and cause serious injury and damage

The required specifications for the size and length of bolt needed to safely mount your Samsung TV will be listed in the user guide for your TV. If you cannot find your user manual, please visit Samsung Support and enter the model number of your TV to download an electronic copy.

The length of the bolt, labelled "C" in your user manual, shows the minimum and maximum length of bolt required from the rear cover to the threads inside the TV. This does not include a wall mount and you should add appropriate length to adequately accommodate the wall mount assembly.

In your user manual there are some diagrams that you can use to find out what size bolt you need. Use the examples below to understand how to use these diagrams.

Finding the correct bolt length

  • C = length of the bolt inside the TV, when screwed all the way to the bottom of the panel
  • X = the thickness of your wall bracket

To find the correct length of bolt needed, add C & X together. It may be easier to use longer bolts with some spacers or washers.

Finding the correct bolt length when using spacers

  • C = length of the bolt inside the TV, when screwed all the way to the bottom of the panel
  • X = the thickness of your wall bracket
  • Z = the thickness of spacers / washers

Bolts available from hardware stores are usually sold in increments of 5mm. It may be easier to use these "standard" length bolts with some spacers or washers. If you are using spacers, the total bolt length needed will be C + X + Z.
