This was my first samsung hoover purchase. I was looking forward to try it out but tech spec about battery life is very misleading. I felt tricked into this purchase by believing the battery life is at least 40 min. But it is not. Even on a minimum power when fully charged it jumps from 40 to 24 minutes when only used 2 or 3 minutes. If you switch to medium power then battery life is no longer that 15 minutes max and again withing only couple minutes it go down to 7 or 8 minutes. It is super dissapointing Samsung. I will be calling you support services as this battery time is just a nono.

Good suction. Light vacuum. However, the main vacuum head broke after a few weeks. The grip on the bottom fell off. This happened my last samsung cordless vacuum so must be a manufacturer issue

It’s lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and powerful to use. Suction is brilliant, especially for pet hair. Plenty of attachments which are all great, particularly the Jet Dual brush and Jet LED brush. The battery charge is quick and lasts long too. Would highly recommend.

When I purchased this the website 'Whats in the box' section stated accessories including 2 batteries. I asked customer support who told me the description was 'for illustrative purposes only'. Not great as this feels like false advertising and bad customer support. The vacum is great but I'm seriously considering sending it back.

Poor Poor performance Battery run time no where near the hour stated, normal standard use will get you 20 mins if lucky, save your money and buy a cheap one as performance will be the same Going to go to trading standard ls as they are falsely advertising and mis selling the product Only tried it for 5 mins when delivered today and I'm shocked on how bad the battery is considering the brand they really need to do better. Would potentially take 3 charges to do our average sized 4 bed house!! Would give 0 stars

I have been loving this vacuum so far. It's compact, but powerful. The different extensions and tools have been incredibly useful, but my favourite is the basic jet brush that is the 'default' - this vacuum is perfect for small homes and apartments, and one charge gives me around 2 full vacuums in my 1 bed flat. It works exceptionally well on hardwood floors and tiles - it requires a couple of passes on carpet, but is more than suitable for our needs. I've thoroughly enjoyed using this vacuum and will definitely consider Samsung again when I'm in the market for a new one. Can't recommend enough!

This vacuum is light and versatile - works reasonably well but has one flaw which anyone buying should be aware of. It has a super fine particle filter - under normal use this is probably a good thing but if you have any building work the filter constantly clogs requiring disassembly

The performance of this vacuum certainly deserves 5 stars. So why am I only giving 1 star? Read on.... I used the Samsung trade-in scheme to buy the Jet85 Pet vacuum. The battery on my old vacuum (not a Samsung) had come to the end of its life and could not be replaced. The trade-in was a good deal and very easy to arrange ✅ The Jet85 is a very good build quality ✅, great battery life ✅, not too loud ✅, quick to charge ✅, easy to clean ✅ and absolutely brilliant suction ✅. It really cleans deep into carpets and manages to extract any sand or soil embedded in the fibres ✅. Even my plug-in hoover wasn't that good. So, what's my gripe? Well, I vacuum my house every morning. Not a 'deep' clean but a spin around the floors upstairs and downstairs. First though, I always vacuum my mattress. This is all really effective in reducing dust allergens, and the HEPA filter does a brilliant job. Since I bought my Samsung vacuum in January 2025, I've set a reminder on my phone to prompt me to wash the two filters (Part #3 Washable Micro Filter & Part #7 Fine Dust Filter), and thoroughly clean the machine on 22nd of each month. It keeps the machine in great shape, but here lies the problem.... The two filters take at least 3 days to dry (apparently, they must not be dried in sunlight), so I am without the machine for 3 days every month. If the filters feel dry after 2 days and are reassembled, any slight moisture still remaining will cause the error message "Clogged". The filters must be removed once again and left to dry for a 3rd day. I set about trying to buy an extra set of filters. They are not identified by any individual part number in the manual or anywhere else, so the vacuum title and model number is all you have to go on. Part #3 is not shown at all on the Samsung website. There are three items which look like Part #7 (each a different colour). However, once you check the specs you find that they fit models VS20A & VS20B - my machine is VS20C. On another website selling Samsung spares, there are four types of filter Part #3 with wildly differing prices. Trying to relate that part to your particular model is anyone's guess as there is no common reference number to refer to. There is no sign of anything resembling filter Part #7. Any attempt to enter the vacuum model number into the search box results in "not found". In total there are 213 Samsung filter items listed, but nothing matches the 2 I need. In conclusion, I am very happy with the Jet85 Pet vacuum and it really deserves 5 stars for performance. However, I am really annoyed that two essential filters are not available. Not only does that mean I'm without a vacuum for 3 days every month - if the filters ever break or malfunction it would mean that the vacuum would become useless and have to be scrapped. This appears to be deliberate "built in obsolescence" by Samsung, who presumably would expect customers just to cough up and buy a brand new machine. (I'm old enough to remember the corny joke about the man who changed his car when the ashtray needed emptying). Sorry, Samsung. It's all very well showing us glossy promo video clips filled with technical jargon and all the latest AI slop (yawn). Please - just make it easier to navigate your site, to find the parts customers should have a reasonable expectation of finding, for a machine which is still currently being offered for sale.

We upgraded from a low end run of the mill cordless vacuum, wish we had done it sooner. The Jet 85 came with everything we needed, a compact storage solution for the tooling accessories which we wall mounted it, keeps it all together and in an easily accessible place. In use the Jet sucks and cleans really well pulling up our cat hairs and dust after our renovations really well. The The smaller pet attachment is great for making the vacuum smaller, ideal for our stair carpet which looks really like new when all fluffed up once this has been run over it, oh and it's clean too. The dust collection system is easy to use and I love the replaceable/washable filter which is really robust. This is the second one we have bought in the space of a few weeks because we were so impressed with the first.

A nice and easy to use vacuum. Has great suction, i usually use it on min across my carpets, rugs and wooden floors and that's even with a dog in the house. Makes vacuuming an easy task. Before purchasing on line I viewed several cordless vacuum cleaners and was impresed with the quality and design compared to other manufacturers. I found the Jet 85 pet model easy to use and clean. Having used many different cordless vacuum cleaners, this Samsung is more powerful and lighter to use than all of the other makes. My Wife really likes it as it lightweight, has a long battery life and picks up the cat hairs so easily. The 5 year warranty is also an extra bonus.

I was pleased with the product itself. I bought through John Lewis and it appeared that the model has a LED brush however this was not supplied and when I contacted JL and Samsung I was told that no such attachment was available to purchase.

Only fault is the battery. Vacuum only lasts 10-15 minutes after being fully charged on ‘max’ mode. ‘Mid’ mode only 25mins. Looks like a second battery used to come in the pack but not anymore, available as additional purchase…
