We’re really happy with this washing machine. The 9kg capacity is ideal for our family, and the AI-powered energy-saving features are impressive – we’ve already noticed lower electricity usage. One of the most annoying washing machines I've ever purchased! The touch screen panel, and the child lock features are pointless when they can simply press the off button.. or if you accidentally lean on it with your clothes it turns off! Poor design! Other machines I've had it starts right where it stopped but no, not this one.. you'll be half way, drum full and it's lent on and it turns off.. y9u then have to drain and use the DOWNLOADED spin cycle just to restart again! If I could i'd throw it out the window! And not to mention the socks that gather at the front, get a sock bag if you buy this! They come out dripping wet and often still with detergent on them from being at the door during the cycle! Poor design and wastes water!!

Rubber seal has come off with the wire. Samsung do not cover it under warranty. Machine is 13 months old and we are always very careful of not overloading the machine so in my opinion this machine is not fit for purpose

It is a quiet, energy efficient and very effective washer. It has a wide range of programmes shouhld you choose to use them but we've found, that for the 2 of us, the Mixed Load is perfectly adequate - and do remember you can alter the water temperature and spin speed if required. We tend to lower the water temp. from the default 40' setting to 30' - the load of clothes & bedding perfectly cleaned. The only problem is finding the serial number - it wasn't on the door or door surround so we entered the lower number on a QI sticker, near the door.

I put my dirty clothes in and they come out clean. It uses some water and some electricity, and if you connect the phone software to it, it'll even tell you how much water and electricity it's used. It's quiet and it plays an irritating tune when it finishes a wash cycle. The buttons and display are good. It looks like it would fit in with a modern house, but my house is very old so it looks somewhat anachronistic, however that isn't a problem for me because I don't sit looking at the washing machine all day. Attached for your viewing pleasure is the optional infurating jingle the washing machine plays, which can be heard all over the house. Why someone at Samsung thought this was a good idea, I am not sure, but there we go.

Poor machine, small items such as socks and washing pods always make there way to the front of the machine and get stuck in the seal, clothes often not been cleaned properly as the pod doesn't always dissolve due to this. I paid for the machine to be professionally fitted, the men who turned up couldn't speak English and did not fit the water pipe correctly causing a flood and damage to my cupboards, really let down with it all will not be using Samsung again

I’ve been using the Samsung WW11D for a bit now, and overall, it’s been great. The 11kg capacity is super handy for big loads, and it handles bulky stuff like bedding without a problem. It’s also pretty quiet, even during the spin cycle, and the EcoBubble tech seems to clean well even with cooler washes. The touch panel is modern, but it can take a little getting used to. Also, the auto detergent feature is cool but can be a bit hit or miss sometimes. If you have a big household and want something efficient and sleek, it’s a solid choice. Just be ready for a bit of a learning curve with the settings.

This machine has been installed today after my old Samsung (2009) broke down. I bought Samsung as the old washer did so well (lasting 15 years ) However I am struggling to start to use this new machine as the supplied manual is hopeless. It doesn’t describe what the symbols mean & how to use the different options. Online Samsung manuals are just as bad - seeming to be aimed more at a service engineer rather than a user. Whilst Googling for help I note many users complain about its long wash cycles & now i am beginning to regret not looking at reviews beforehand & considering other suppliers, instead of assuming Samsung would continue to provide helpful machines.

We bought this via an official 3rd Party supplier who were able to offer the extended 5 year Samsung warranty via the Samsung website. They installed it like a Formula 1 pitstop and I was putting in my first load within 20minutes of them ringing my doorbell. So far the washes have come out exactly as expected. Much quieter than our previous model and as far as washing machines go, is quite aesthetically pleasing. Not yet used all the new features these newer versions have, like hygiene steam. Look forward to trying out all the functionality and also connecting it to my Samsung phone.

My last machine was an eco bubble 8kg in graphite, I loved the machine, had all the features i wanted but due to operator error the machines life ended early; I then brought this machine only last week, and although I cannot fault it, it is lovely and quiet, looks stylish and is easy to use, I am however disappointed that I didn’t realise that It does not come with a specific ‘drain and spin’, button, which I used often on my last machine. (I realise you can pull the pipe out in an emergency). I see the series 6 has this and wish I had looked into this more so for this reason I have only given it 4 stars for features

We have bought this washing machine in September 2024 and everything was amazing until the machine failed 6 months later. It was an efficient and quite easy to use washing machine, and absolutely loved that I could connect it to my phone. As it has developed a fault, we had to contact customer support and had the worst customer support experience ever. We had reported the fault on the 14th of February 2025 and the issue is far from being resolved, not to mention that the customer support tried to make me pay for a fault that the warranty covers. The engineer had the earliest appointment on the 25th of February and only showed up to evaluate the damage. He is due to come back a week later to fix the washing machine. We have got a new washing machine (not Samsung) as we have a toddler and cannot risk to go to launderette. I would never buy a Samsung appliance again, just because the support you get in case there is a fault is inexistent and they will try to make you pay for something that you should not.

Would not recommend this washing machine. Capacity and features are fine, but we have had problems ever since we bought it. It wobbles excessively on every spin cycle regardless of load size and makes a lot of noise. As soon as it starts building up speed, it becomes uneven and shakes and bangs a lot. Samsung sent out one of their approved repairers on several occasions and they replaced some parts but no improvement. Samsung's live chat and support staff have unfortunately not been at all helpful. The feet have been levelled, the machine has been calibrated several times, the filter has been checked/cleaned regularly, dampening feet have been added, and we do not overload or underload. Despite going through all this numerous times on live chat and on the phone, Samsung staff say that the problem is our fault for using it incorrectly. They even suggested that when it's about to spin we should stop it and manually redistribute the load each time! We are now stuck with a machine that makes far more noise and movement than one half the price (any reduction in noise with this being an inverter model is cancelled out by the vibration and banging noises). As a result of this ongoing problem and my experience with the support team I cannot recommend this machine and I won't be buying another Samsung appliance.

Love this. Makes washing much easier to select washes on phone and send to machine. But sadly you cannot stop or start the machine from your phone. One thing I like is how when you press pause, it immediately unlocks so you can add clothes. It’s so quiet and doesn’t move everything in the room when it spins. It’s silent and controls its spin well. I was able to get my 6 tog super king duvet in there so please with the capacity.

Never known a electrical item play tunes when it has finished a cycle!! Well this washing machine does. Very novel idea. Only real downside, which knocked down to a 4 score, is the silly way it is set up to do delayed starts. Previously with our last washer you would work out how many hours it was before you wanted it to come on and do the wash. Unfortunately with this one you have be a mathematician. You have to add the cycle time on to the time when you want it to start?! In other words you have to work when it will finish and not when you want it to start. Ridiculous idea. Other than that great washing machine with no issues.

For the price and next-day delivery, this washing machine is an absolute steal! I'd recommend it to anyone who isn’t too picky. It’s got a lovely design, and the controls are super easy to use. The installation? A breeze – swapped out the old one in about 5 minutes flat. At 1400rpm, it's whisper-quiet – though the water pump does have a bit of a grumble. But honestly, the washing results are fab. The only downside is that some of the smaller bits occasionally get stuck under the glass – poor things don’t get a proper wash!

Large enough capacity for our mid-size family. Excellent washing results and the smart features give extra flexibility - although we probably don't take full advantage of them. I would avoid buying. On a quick was items come out still dirty. I then use a longer was cotten one I believe. It says 1 hour 40 mins to wash. It then starts to was and 20mins or so into washing ut changes the setting itself and changes to a much hotter wash and the time change to 3 hours 40 min. I don't like to leave the washer as it will start washing whatever wash it decides to choose for you. I'm really unhappy with the washer. It has also changed to a much hotter setting and then clothes get ruined. Shrinking wool items for example when I didn't choose that setting. Also every setting is so long and 1 setting makes my clothes smell of nothing. Also some times when I wash towels the door starts to bang really loud and move about almost seems asif it will come open.

Terrible machine, even worse customer service. Took months to get them to agree to a replacement as there’s an issue with the chassis causing excessive movement in the drum and the worst noise ever. Asked by customer services to count the number of socks etc in the machine! Weighed out the washing - never more than 3kg. They closed down the repair even though the company they used told them there was a problem and refused to give the code to Argos for the replacement. Argos stepped in and were fab. Replacement was finally given out and was exactly the same. Put up with it for 3 months, not even going to try to speak to Samsung again. Awful experience all round with them. £400 down the drain - literally.

Really disappointed in the functions. 15 min wash leaves the clothes soaking so then need to do a 20 min rinse and spin. No spin function to use separate. Quickest wash is 106mins so not handy if in a rush. Wish i had returned when it arrived damaged at back.

This isn't what we'd expect to hear as we strive to provide the best features possible. Your machine has a massive 1400 rpm spin speed. The 15 minute cycle is designed for very small loads of light fabrics, and its default spin settings are gentler to prevent damage. Using larger loads with a gentle spin will result in wetter laundry. You can manually increase the spin speed to combat this (eg. to 1400 rpm, if suitable for the fabric type) before starting the cycle to extract more water. There is a separate spin-only feature, and you can select this by pressing and holding the Spin button for approximately 3 seconds. You will hear a chime, and the display will show the spin-only cycle time. You can press the Spin button again to cycle through different spin speed options. I'm disappointed as I expected a better performance. My washing comes out with the same stains, so not a great clean. Also laundry does not smell of conditioner, smells of nothing. My previous washing machine did a better job. Limited cycles. No short hot cycle. I have not yet used the wifi function as I'm not a techie person Customer service wasn't helpful when the machine didn't work upon delivery. It took a total of 3 engineers to figure out it had not been connected properly.

Bought to replace old Samsung washing machine which I had for around 12 years with heavy use for family of 5. It was sometimes stopping mid-wash so needed to be replaced, and for Christmas I was gifted a John Lewis voucher which took the sting out of purchasing a new washing machine. After being so accustomed to the old one, this new one is very quiet! It has similar settings and various lengths of time for washing, on which you can also change the rpm and temperature, so it's easy to customise to your liking. 8kg fits perfectly in my kitchen and the black colour matches my oven for a more stylish look.

My daughter has the same washing machine. My old one packed in so I had a look at hers and it looked straightforward so I bought one. I’m so pleased I did. The only thing I miss is the manual .i like to browse through them. I have found the manual online. The capacity is great (10KG). It cleans the washing well even on a low temperature It’s very economical ,very quiet and low vibration I’ve only been using it for 5 days. It’s so much easier to clean than my old one. There are so many different ones on the market but I believe I’ve made the right choice. Forgot to add I like the jingle at the end of the cycle to let me know it’s finished. If I’m in another room it’s loud enough to hear,

After being highly let down by other brands, I felt it was time to go with a brand that has always done well for me in other areas. I was absolutely correct to follow my gut; the Samsung machine is sleak, quiet, and has more functions than any other machine I have owned in the past. Also, knowing I have years of support makes my purchase well worth it.

Samsung states that the doors a reversible on this appliance. I paid Samsung extra for the installation service so this could be done. In reality the doors are not reversible. The top hinge mount design is different that shown in the video. I have not received a refund for the installation service. Shame really as it is a good fridge otherwise.

I’ve had the same washer for 12 years and I was going to stick with the same brand, I saw the Samsung and liked the modern look and it looked easy to use also it was a great price with a 5 year warranty which my old brand didn’t offer. I’ve used the washer a few times and can’t fault it. Easy to use, very quiet and washing is very fresh now.

Washes well, and is quiet but has a design flaw. Washing a load with small items such as socks and thongs, especially sneaker socks, the socks/thongs get lodged on the seal next to the door, don't move and end up not being washed. A solution might be to put them in a laundry bag but shouldn't be necessary with a machine of this quality.

Very frustrating, machine would be great but has broken twice in less than 3 years. It broke within less than 12 months of having it and the guy that repaired it said that it was put together wrong by Samsung! He had to replace half the machine and now it has broken again within less than 2 years since that issue. Despite the warranty being 2 years for a machine and the machine breaking due to Samsungs error initially in the first year they would not assist with finding the repair. Very poor in terms of durability, not worth over £400 when it’s going to cost £300 to fix within 3 years!!!

We purchased this about a month ago and it gets used a lot as a family with two kids and a big dog. We’ve noticed a real flaw in the design where the rubber seal gets socks and smaller garments stuck in it, the space in the rubber seal is a lot larger than our previous washing machine and we haven’t experienced this with other washing machines we have had just this one. The small garments aren’t properly cleaned and haven’t been in the spin so are soaked too. The dog hair tends to clog up in there too I think because it’s getting trapped and blocked. Requires a lot of cleaning in the rubber seal area because of this. May replace machine with another as it doesn’t feel nice things are getting missed.

Purchased this machine back in December 24 as a replacement for the last one that gave up we had to buy one very quickly on a Sunday went online and after an hour came up with this one from Currys the only one left and available to collect so a quick drive to Currys pick up and bring home install after a couple of washes realised this purchase was meant to be very quiet excellent wash cycles A energy rating so now will stay with this brand and now after two weeks extremely pleased with our purchase

This machine is lovely, it looks great, is sooo quiet, and has many cycle options. The one thing that is so annoying about it is the wide lip. All my smaller items like socks and dish cloths end up wedged in the lip and don't get washed properly.

My last Samsung washing machine, 8kg, was purchased on 05/04/2012 and today, 12/09/2025 I purchased a new washing machine, 9kg. New technology in the types of washes and a ‘Clean the Drum’ feature which will be invaluable. I can even link it to my phone to set my washes on! Eager to get myself onto this feature. Short wash of 15 minutes, even shorter than my 8kg model which was about 29 minutes. All this will certainly help with the electricity usage. A ‘bubbles’ wash will certainly add to the performance of this great machine. My daughter has already purchased a Samsung washing machine. Samsung, to me is quality, reliability, new innovations and a great price. What more can a ‘gal’ want in a washing machine.

I like the various programmes and the ability to customise them. I wish that the ECO programme could be changed to 30 degrees. It has 40 degrees fixed as its lowest temperature, but some of my clothes state 30 on the label.

The washing machine is very quiet and performs great. Being connected to the Samsung Smart things is a neat future, getting notified on my phone when a wash or spin cycle is done as well as setting up the next cycle. It took a bit of figuring out how to set the washing machine on just a spin cycle as the manual it came with did not clearly state this. My old Samsung washing machine had the option just by turning the dial. To set it to spin only i had to press and hold the spin button for a couple seconds and then it worked! other than that i am very happy with this machine.

The Samsung 5 series 9 kg WW90CGC04DABEU is a fantastic washing machine. It replaced an old indesit which was prone to getting blocked. I like the intuitive smart feature that can calibrated the weight of the load and adjust the time. It's also quite when going through the wash cycle. I was also drawn to the self cleaning mode. No more taking a guess of when the machine needs a hot clean. You get a reminder of this needs to be done and has its program.

Our 3rd Samsung washer. First 2 great this one has been updated and more ECO friendly and it has NOT IMPROVED.it We have allergy problems and need extra rinse only cycle to ensure all the soap is out but cannot find one. The previous 2 washers had that facility but not this one. The display is very dim and harder to see.. MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER WARRANTY or you will have same problem we had with our second machine.and even though AO proved the date we bought it was inside the warranty period Samsung stated that I had not registered it and was not covered.

I chose this fantastic machine as when I bought it online, I got an absolutely outstanding deal so I couldn't pass up the chance to get my hands on one of Samsung washing machines . The colour is stunning with a striking charcoal black and designed impressed on the front of the machine with a super stylish display and control panel. The 8kg drum is perfect for any wash and all the preset washes are excellent but one fantastic feature you can do with this machine is download new settings on the app on your phone. Not only can you download new ways programmes but you can set your washing machine via the app and monitor it to see how far the cycle is along and when it's finished, even if your away from home as it's all linked with WiFi and your Samsung smart things app . One really cool feature is the hygiene steam programme which is perfect at sanitising delicate and clothing the required extra care but needs to be super clean. Tough stains , that's easy peasy for this machine with its bubble soak feature to help release any stains from washing items . My old washing machine was 10 years old and was past it and very noisy but this thing is super quiet so much so that you can hardly hear it at 1400 spin. One cool other feature is the musical tones when the machine turns on , is finished or your sleeping programmes ,it plays a lovely little tune. I'd love to be able to download other musical tones but maybe that's something for the future. This machine for me is just amazing and I've done nothing but boast to all my fiends for fantastic and modern the machine is . Great appliance Samsung..one of my many trusted Samsung devices which I absolutely love

Price, fast delivery time was good. Other than that, the machine is awful - every cycle, no matter spin speed will have smaller items like socks stuck in the front door rubber seal, they do not get washed, are soaking wet and discoloured at the end of the cycle. Most frustrating is that the machine will keep changing the washing cycle length after you have set it and means clothes are spinning around in there for up to 3 hours, when a 1 hour 30 minute cycle was selected. Even at the low price of £400 i would not recommend this in any way.

These bags are made for washing smaller items, ensuring they stay within the drum and get washed and spun effectively. For cycle times, the machine will use sensors to weigh the load you have put in the drum, it will then adjust the cycle length depending on the weight. To ensure the cycles do not last longer than you would like, we recommend washing lighter loads. This is a great piece of kit which allows you to tailor each wash to your specific needs, cleans items on a cooler or fast wash and is easy to use! I also love the little piece of classical music it plays at the end, what a cute feature. It has a bubble feature which really deep cleans the clothes and has got some inground stains out of clothes I had nearly given up on. Fab washing machine.

Our washing machine had been on its way out for a long time and finally gave up hope. We have open plan living so I was keen to get a quieter machine that can handle the day to day life loads (baby, outdoorsy husband and two dogs). This machine has been absolutely incredible and we could not be happier with it. It's spin cycle is quiet, it's features are exactly what we need and the eco bubble feature is brilliant! We live in a hard water area so are pairing it with calgon in the hope to prevent limescale build up in a few years time.

Great machine so far! But customer service at Samsung is terrible when trying to speak to someone. I had to call 4 times. First time the lady was laughing in the background and finally said hello 5 mins later. And then the line cut off. I had to call back and still didn’t get any help. Really hoping I won’t need to call again. Aside from that the machine is good!

I've only just started using my machine and I love it. Lots of good cycles to use PLUS the fact I can use the smart technology to dowload and use the SPIN only option as there is only rinse and spin. It is extremely quiet and plays a lovely little tune to tell you when it's done, also on the app you can see the progress of the cycle. I've yet to use the bubble wash feature but am excited to try it soon. easy to install, easy to use , I have downloaded the user manual which helps a lot to see the functions on the control panel.

The Washing Machine is let down by Samsung not providing pictures with operation instructions on what is happening on the touch screen. My wife is 89 years old. Also there is absolutely NO indication of spin speed when on a wash cycle, on the entire large display screen. However the induction motor is very quiet indeed

Once the cycle has started, the display will show the selected spin speed and the estimated time remaining for the wash. It took a longer time than I’d like to admit to decide on a new washing machine. Key features I was looking for were shorter wash timing options and a quieter spin. We’ve only had this a few days but so far so good. It has options to reduce spin speed and timings. It’s also musical and plays a song when the cycle ends 😂

First delivery of this washing machine arrived with dent in metalwork at the back. They could put some protective packing around this area. Machine is a lot quieter than my previous Samsung. Seems good so far, hopefully will last as long as the old one (which development a PCB fault after nearly 10 years) Not sure I will use the WiFi function, as it looks like you need to have the Samsung app and account to do so. This machine has touch sensitive buttons, hopefully these will be durable and last a long time.
