bought it on amazon while it was on offer. as a student i mainly use it for student essays and multitasking on chrome, but i also use it to play games on steam. its absolutely amazing as a computer for studies, but there are a few things that annoy me. theirs a key above my shift key that replaced the caps lock, and as far as i know i cant permanently make it a caps lock key. which makes me quite upset, as i think its a necessary button to have. when gaming, you are forced to use google play to download games, which means a lot of the apps that have a desktop version, but not on the play store: like roblox, force you into the mobile version, which is incredibly buggy. i've also noticed that my apps white screen sometimes, i shrink and expand my tab to fix it, but its annoying having to keep doing that.
I recommended this product.

Thank you for taking the time to share this positive review of your Galaxy Chromebook Plus with us, Hayess. We’re pleased to hear that, as a student, this model has been meeting your expectations overall, helping you complete your tasks smoothly while also taking your gaming to the next level. We also appreciate your feedback on the areas you’d like to see improved, and we’d be happy to provide some guidance. The Launcher/Search key can be remapped to function as a Caps Lock key through the ChromeOS keyboard settings. To do this: open Settings > Device > Keyboard, find the Launcher key setting, and change its function to Caps Lock. Regarding gaming, ChromeOS mainly supports Android versions of apps from the Google Play Store, so some games may not offer the same features or performance as their desktop counterparts. For the intermittent white-screen issue, we recommend checking that ChromeOS and your apps are fully up to date, as well as reinstalling any affected apps. If the issue continues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our IT specialists, who’ll be happy to assist you further. You can find our full contact details and opening times on our Contact Us page here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/ We are confident that the information above will help you get even more from your brilliant laptop! ^CL at Samsung Support

It is an awful laptop. The adhesive on the screen goes causing strain on the hinges. The hinge then breaks and Samsung will try and charge you £400 to fix it saying it’s not covered by warranty. Don’t waste your time getting it. Just have a little google search for similar issues with adhesive.

We’re disheartened to hear that you’re unable to use your Galaxy Chromebook Plus due to an issue affecting the hinges. We’d like to reassure you that all Samsung Chromebooks undergo extensive quality and durability testing, including checks on hinge performance and structural integrity. However, extended use and environmental factors can sometimes affect materials and mechanical components over time. Our warranty coverage is based on the findings of a technical inspection. If physical wear, accidental damage or adhesive separation is identified, this may affect whether the repair is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty or treated as an out‑of‑warranty, chargeable repair. We appreciate you raising this concern, and we would still encourage you to proceed with having the product repaired, so you can continue to make the most of it for a long time to come. For future reference, you can contact our IT experts on 0333 000 0333 (Mon–Fri | 8am to 8pm, Sat–Sun | 9am to 6pm), or via Live Chat here: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/contact/ ^CL at Samsung Support

I am delighted with my new Samsung chromebook which has replaced my 6 year old chromebook. The OLED screen is so clear and my favourite feature so far but the quality of the keyboard, ease of use and the lightness of the device come a close second. It has all the features that I regularly use and need. As an experienced chromebook user I know that the specs will meet my needs for some time to come. Money well spent. Just one small point: I am a little frustrated that I cannot find out the maximum MicroSD card size that I can use in the SD card slot before buying one. I find this port useful as a very quick way to transfer files between devices.
I recommended this product.

We've made some incredible advancements in technology since you purchased your previous Chromebook, Bill, and your Chromebook Plus is packed with all of them. You'll get the most stunning visual experiences imaginable with the display, and even the most CGI heavy blockbusters will flow across the screen exactly as intended. It's capable of being a valuable asset for multiple parts of your day, which is why it we've also designed it to be lightweight enough to carry around with you, and supplied a keyboard that makes any work feel easier. We are happy to take on board your comments regarding adding the information about compatible SD cards, so that our customers are able to make fully informed decisions before purchasing. ^DB at Samsung Support
