There is an overwhelming choice when it comes to choosing domestic appliances and Induction Hobs are no exception. Having experienced cooking with several different ones, my wife knew which features she wanted. We had concerns about the cutout dimensions of our granite worktop. But Samsung, as well as being a respected brand, offer a slimline range which fit into a slightly smaller aperture. This model incorporates all the features and controls one might want and we are delighted with it.

I've gone from gas to induction and I'm struggling. I tend to cook meals in bulk but the cooking elements are too small for my saucepans. This is also an issue when cooking pancakes or omelettes as the parts of the pan that go past the hob don't cook so a pancake would have uncooked parts. The controls are easily altered without realising until you've suddenly burnt the dinner or everything bubbles over. Positives: much easier than gas to keep clean and looks nicer.

Damaged corner on the hob but you have to report it within 72hrs. We had a new kitchen and could not install straight away. on installing it we noticed after a week that one corner had a small chip not caused by us (first induction hob so we were very aware you have to be careful) Samsung support don't care, they just told me i didn't report it in time and they wont help. I've spent thousands on their phones and TV's but counts for nothing. I was a loyal Samsung customer up to this point. Very disappointing experience.
