I have recently replaced my washing machine and dryer with latest Samsung appliances , and decided to replace out fantastic German branded dishwasher which has given us years of service with a Samsung 'A' rated dishwasher. No issues installing as dimensions exactly the same as my previous appliance, it should be noted that you should avoid having socket and wastepipe directly behind. In my case I have a flush flex outlet going to a trailing socket as I didn't want to cut off the plug. Positives compared to my previous dishwasher are it has a 1 hour quick wash, WiFi integration, 'A' rated, cutlery shelf (3 separate spray bars), bottom spray bar is new Waterjet Clean. No issues after the 1 hour programme as all items are clean. When drying, it opens the door a jar oi the final couple of minutes and plays a tune (I don't mind this, but if it annoyed users it can be disabled). It also casts a light on the floor when running, but our old German branded has this so not splitting the atom. Finally, we managed to get 5 years warranty at no extra cost which is a huge plus. With just the two of us, I would like to think this will last much longer. It say it is 14 places, which I would love a Samsung designer to show me! The reason for the 3 stars is the lack of flexibility with the middle shelf. This is what really frustrates me and my wife has been asking me to send it back. Why has the shelf limited to two positions? On the lower positions our standard dinner plated catch the middle spray arm, on the upper setting our wine glasses won't fit. It is as if the designers don't stack a dishwasher. So for the first time in 12 years we are having to wash our wine glasses in the sink.

Dishwasher is lovely, quiet and capacious. However, doors do not have function to adjust spring tension therefore it is tricky when loading and removing items as doors shut themself all the time. Had tech engineer from Samsung to look at it and could not sort it out. Said will raise it but no follow back from this visit. But suggested that it might not be possible to fix it.

Advertised with a front panel. Nowhere on the page does it say you need to purchase a panel separately from another supplier, Samsung don't do their own. Glad I didn't pay full price, but will have to work out a solution of my own. This dishwasher better be worth the hassle.

Cleans really well, very happy with it. The only thing I am not happy about is no information to tell you what the picture icons relate to. Don't seem to get a proper instruction book any more but would have been helpful if these were in the small instruction book you get with the device
