General Review: This ring is a really good tech device for tracking heart rate and sleep as well as exercise. You are supposed to forget about this titanium-plated ring and let it passively track your heart rate, sleep and exercise. And at only around 3 grams, it's really easy to forget about. Battery: I've only used this ring for a few days and over around 30 hours the battery has only depleted by 20% meaning on a full charge it will last me around a week or even more. If you wear your smartwatch while wearing this ring you can also make the battery last even more as the ring only tracks sleep and heart rate to reduce inaccuracies. Design: The ring has a concaved design which means that the sensors and parts of the watch would not be damaged if it has a collision with the wall or something. The cradle for the ring also looks amazing. It is like its own jewellery box for the ring itself. The ring also fits a lot better than a smartwatch and also tracks heart rate more accurately seeing as though it makes direct contact with your skin from all sides. Value: It's worth it if you want a non invasive and small tech product that you want to be able to completely forget about. However if you just want your average health tracker you'd be better off going with the Samsung watch.

I am very disappointed with Samsung. This was a gift to me from my partner and I loved this ring for the first six months. The battery lasted 5 days and I could track my sleep regularly. Recently the only way I can measure a full night's sleep is if I charge it every single day! This is not acceptable. I expected something better coming from Samsung. I don't recommend this.

Love all the insight it gives me into my sleep as my watch is old and the sleep data was no longer accurate, nit as I refuse to upgrade my watch until the bring out a new rose gold I decided to go with the ring. My major gripe is that the finish isn't robust enough. Got my ring in July and it's now October and the ring os showing h signs of wear on the edges. So unless you get silver I fear all rings will suffer this problem. I would also like to point out it's not on my dominant hand and I tend to remove it when interacting with water. Or doing lifting anything awkward/heavy because it cuts in. So to have significant signs of wear so soon is disappointing for the price point paid.

I was really excited to try the Samsung Galaxy Ring, but unfortunately my experience has been frustrating and disappointing. After only a few months of use, the device suddenlystopped working. I sent it in for repair and was told there was internal damage. A crack inside the ring that wasn’t caused by me. Despite this being acknowledged as a manufacturing fault by both the repair team and Samsung support, my request for a free repair was rejected and also a refund. I’ve followed every step they advised, remained patient, and given them every opportunity to resolve the issue, but I’ve been left going in circles. Instead they said i could only pay the quote which was almost £450 which is outrageous. Now I have no choice but to report this to the trading association and the ombudsman to try and resolve this issue. The product I received is clearly not fit for purpose, and the way my case has been handled shows a lack of accountability. I really expected better from a company like Samsung. At this point, I’m being left with no choice but to escalate the issue further. I genuinely hope this review gets someone’s attention at Samsung, because no customer should have to fight this hard when the fault is not their own.

Avoid it with all your heart. I believe it is the worst Samsung thing ever! It is so many bad things that I don't know how to start. Let's try. The ring gets scratched easily, without any effort, a shame for a product developed to be a daily regular use. The battery gets problematic like ASAP, starting to decrease until it lasts a few hours... The Ring support is a shame. Calling the support, they will ask to collect it. If it is not possible, they are going to send you to some Experience Store because Online Advisors don't know that Galaxy Ring cannot be repaired at the Store or cannot be received there; it must be sent for repair. Why don't they know about it? Good question. Regarding connectivity, it is a chaos, losing connection or missing tracks during the day's exercises or sleeping activities Tracking maybe due so.e problematic sensors... I have so many different Samsung Appliances like Fold 7, S25 Ultra, Flip 6, Freestyle 2, Tab S10, TV Neo, laptop... high tier on my Samsung account, but I can tell you 100%: Samsung should review it.

Came to Samsung KX store to check on the new ring and I am loving it. I have been tracking my sleep with a watch for the past few months and I decided to stop because I didnt want to wear a watch. I love the idea of wearing a ring to control and check my health but specially because all the sleep features are great. Really enjoyed checking the features and the apps connected to the ring.

I bought rings for 3 people in my family less than 1 year ago. Two of them don't charge anymore, I sent via samsung repair, was asked for £30 for inspection and then a whopping £487 for repair. A new ring isn't that much. Terrible, would not recommend.. I received a reply from Samsung telling me if it's out of warranty it can't be sorted, however it's barely been 11 months! Surely that's pretty poor, and looking at everyone else's reviews it's a common occurrence. Produce better rings or repair them when still in warranty or no one will be buying your rings again. I've had thr Oura which is far superior so we shall be switching the whole family to them.

I have had the Samsung ring since december 2024. I loved it, tracking was pretty good since I live a fairly sedentary life. Last month the battery all of a sudden dropped from lasting 5 days to barely holding 1 day. When it got sent off for repair it took over 3 weeks and I was told I had caused damage not covered under warranty. I work at a computer all day, and at most walk or swim. I dont do any activities that could be associated with damaging it. If the ring cant withstand a year of someone wearing it who does not do any manual activities, then it has a horrible design. I am so disappointed. The repair cost is more then a new ring. I would not recommend this product.

Got the Galaxy ring delivered today and gestures is a missing feature on my S24 Ultra paired with this ring. Some research shows that you must have One UI 6.1.1 which is only available on the flip and fold 6 in the UK. It seems other model android users are not the only ones missing out, most samsung users too! I purchased this ring for gesture control as well as the tracking features. I don't seem to remember on the unpacked event any mention of this big oversight.

Samsung UK Reviews Team

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are sorry to read that you are unhappy with your new Galaxy Ring. On our website, it is stated that the gestures are only compatible on phones running our OneUI 6.1.1. However, although this may not be possible now, the 6.1.1 system is currently on the Z Flip6 and Z Fold6, and will be rolled out to other devices within the UK. Although we can not provide a specific date for this, we recommend you keep your phone up to date at all times, to ensure you get the update as soon as it's available. Worked well for nearly a year, charging the battery every 4/5 days - got some interesting insight etc however for the last month, the charge has been last 2 days at most. Funnily enough, the 12 month finance finished this month. I guess it's designed to last a year or just over so that you buy another - no thanks, I'll do without or try another similar ring from a different manufacturer.

I am an avid promoter of Samsung, having previously worked for a telecoms company I was even their designated Samsung rep. This is the first product I have ever purchased from Samsung that I have been disappointed with. The battery life was great at first, lasting over a week as I also own the Galaxy Watch, and combined usage reduces the battery consumption of both devices. However in the past couple of months I am having to charge it every couple of days, and the ring battery is suddenly shutting down when it hits between 20 and 25%, requiring charging before it will come back on. While this still isn't the end of the world, it is extremely annoying and a disappointing departure from Samsung's usual high quality products. Aesthetically, the ring also scratches very easily. My ring is covered in very noticeable marks, making it look extremely cheap. It feels like Samsung have used the consumer as beta testers for this product, except we have paid through the nose to be these testers. The finish feels cheap, I find myself considering a different brand of smart ring to replace this rather than buying the next generation of Samsung Ring unless there is a drastic improvement. The sensors & tracking features are also a bit touch and go. I got the ring that was the correct size for my finger, however due to the sensor being located on one spot, if the ring spins then the sensors lose their effectiveness. This is especially frustrating if it happens in your sleep, as you lose the tracking for the night. The connectivity is also hit and miss, as the ring can disconnect for seemingly no reason, and has to be manually reconnected. I cannot comment on compatibility as I have an ecosystem of Samsung devices, and you would expect them to work together, which they do.

As with others, I've had my ring for 13 months. The battery had now died for the second time. The first within warranty and was fixed promptly by samsung, however the second time now out off warranty. This is unacceptable for such an expensive device. Samsung they are unaware of a fault with the batteries. I cannot believe this as so many people have the same problem. This had to be a known fault. Samsung should look to refund or replace all rings faulty within 18 months. An electronic device that costs around £400 should definitely last more then 13 months.

I bought a Galaxy ring in October 2024. I'm right handed & wear it on the index finger of my left hand. Recently the ring stopped charging. I sent the ring back to Samsung under warranty to get it repaired. I've recieved notice that there is a 'crack' on the inside of the ring & this is classed as accidental damage & not a product fault therefore the warranty is void. I bought the ring for £359 & the cost of the repair is £454, which is £55 more than I paid for it! The fact is, as a product that is worn on a finger it is naturally more suseptable to knocks etc, than say a wrist worn device. The ring is not fit for purpose as it is not adequate enough to withstand wearing on a finger in my opinion. I strongly recommend that anyone thinking of buying a Galaxy ring not to do so as I know I have been very careful in handling the ring because of its value & it's disappointing the ring has been unable to withstand what I believe is fair wear & tear.

I bought a Galaxy Ring in Nov 24. At first I was very satisfied, the battery lasted awhile, the data gathered seemed fairly accurate. However a couple of weeks ago the ring stopped working and the battery had swollen. I returned it under warranty, and was informed that there was a 'crack' to the ring and therefore it is a payable repair. I wear 7 rings daily, they very rarely come off, and I have done so for around 15 years. In that time I have had to replace two- One I shut my hand in a door, the other took a blunt force impact. Both sensible reasons. For a ring of this price not to survive 5 months of normal day to day wear and tear is poor, and to then expect me to pay for the repair, is pathetic. Produce a better quality of product.....

Thank you for your feedback, Mike, and while we can understand your frustration it is correct that if there is found to be any physical damage to any of our products during an inspection then any repairs would be chargeable. We do also have to complete all required repairs, and not just the ones reported in order to bring it back under warranty. While we do also aim to make all of our products resilient, we would be unable to account for all potential circumstances. We are happy to take on board your feedback, and hope that this doesn't discourage you from purchasing any of our products again in the future. ^DB at Samsung Support

Bought this at first launch, after wearing it for over 4 months constantly, I have given it a thorough trial. What I like: The design, the battery life (4-5days), the battery case, the idea behind, comfort while wearing, the ai insights. The sleep tracking for the most part is accurate and I like the score aspect. It can generally pickup when I'm coming down sick through heart rate rises and hrv falls. I enjoy the energy score for the most part. It's definitely not as good as garmins body battery but it's a start. Only issue is it expects you to exercise daily or it marks you down....no such thing as rest days 😅🤣. The temperature tracking is helpful, especially as a female but ive definitely had some discrepancies with this though. Now the bad.... Workout tracking - very little data, tracks very very little. But to be fair my watch is used for that. But given that this impacts on your daily energy score and whatnot should be better. Heart Rate reading frequency - is only once every 5 minutes. This is very disappointing to not be able to alter this for more accuracy. I'd be happy to sacrifice some battery power towards more often readings. I also find the heart rate no more accurate then my smart watch when compared to a chest strap. Absolute biggest issue - step counting. I've complained to samsung directly about this being wildly inaccurate, sometimes out by over 4 x over the day. It seems to calculate steps while in car. Samsungs only answer was to turn off auto tracking workouts as they use distance travelled to calculate steps which is crazy in this stage of wearable tech. On average the ring shows double the amount of steps daily as actually taken. Switching off auto workout tracking helped slightly but did not remove the issue. Which is a big flaw as it impacts your energy scores and other metrics. The app interface - I've never liked this as it shows not enough data compared to competitors, even when I had the samsung watch 5 pro. It just doesn't compete with others. No NFC - while not unexpected would be a fantastic addition. Expensive for what you receive. While I love their phones, I can not seem to mesh with their wearables. Always seems to lack accuracy and consistency. It's a shame as I really wanted to like this ring. And form an ecosystem. In terms of durability, I ordered the black... and while there are some marks particularly on the raised edges. These arent noticable from a distance and, on the whole, it has held up better then expected for constant wear.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to read that you are happy with the design and comfort, battery performance, sleep tracking and other features of your Galaxy Ring. However, we are very sorry that overall you are left feeling disappointed by the workout tracking, step counting and amount of data available. As the Galaxy Ring is a small device, NFC is not an available feature. Saying that, we truly appreciate your insight regarding the discrepancy and inaccuracy when auto-detecting workouts and steps. Your feedback is vital, and will be used to drive improvements going forward. DO NOT BUY THIS RING. Over the last 15 years, myself and my husband have used all of Samsung's products. This includes watches, phones, tablets. We therefore both decided to purchased a fitness ring. However, the battery performance in both our rings began to greatly depreciate after about 13 months (the warranty period is 12 months). Although the rings appeared to be fully charged, the battery would only last for a couple of hours. After attempting to repair my husband's ring, Samsung decided it was unrepairable and replaced it. We have now been discussing collection of my ring with Samsung for over 6 weeks. Despite this, the ring remains uncollected and unusable. This is completely unacceptable.  I seriously doubt whether I will continue to choose Samsung products going forward. Absolutely no customer service for loyal customers.

I've been a Samsung advocate since 2008 and have had multiple S model phones and 2 iterations of their Watches. I spent hours researching the Galaxy ring vs the Oura product (as my watch battery life has become poor... the irony will follow) and decided to stick with Samsung. For about a month or 2 it was fantastic, comfortable to wear, somewhat basic but did everything I needed. Then suddenly it stopped charging. I tried all of the tips and tricks but to no avail. (I had noticed the charging seemed to be the most commonly searched issue with the ring once it broke for me). I sent it off for a repair, and as expected, they decided it had impact damage (not included under warranty) and the repair it would cost over £450. You'll notice, this is more than the cost of the product itself. I am now in the process of querying the breakdown of this review and supposed impact damage but certainly will not be paying more than the price of the ring for a repair I'm certain will need fixing in another few months. This product clearly needs a lot more time on market and fools like me being the ginea pig to fix the issues. Please don't waste your money.

Bought this July 25, and was really pleased with it. Warranty is 12 months. When I first started using it, battery life was good, lasted for 6 days. Coming up to 12 months I noticed it lasted a little less4-5 days. Then after the Warranty has expired, 14 months later, it's 2 days. I contacted Samsung, they suggested factory reset, clean contacts etc, but it's the same and getting worse. Now after reading these reviews, it seems like it's a common fault!. A lot of money and you're lucky if it lasts a year. I definitely wouldn't recommend it knowing what I know now. Very disappointed with Samsung. Has to be their worst product ever. With the amount of complaints about the ring, I'm sure everyone feels ripped off, especially with the short time it's actually worked properly and extremely expensive. When I called them they informed me my warranty has expired, and I would be charged £30+ postage plus repair costs. I said I'm not paying anymore into this.I will definitely be more aware in the future of any purchases. We should be compensated in some way for being sold a faulty product.

The ring itself is great an as expected for the 1st generation. The problem is, as reported hundreds or even thousands of times by users on here and on Reddit is the battery. Around 7-10 months mark, it literally falls of the cliff and at that point the ring can barely survive 1 day on a full charge, even less. I was "fortunate" that my 1st ring's battery got wasted by ~month 7, so easily within warranty. Samsung replaced the ring swiftly and the 2nd "iteration" worked fine for approximately 9-10 months, after which the same thing happened. Also still within the warranty, I was able to exchange it for the 2nd time. Now with my 3rd ring, I hope that it can last around 1 year until Samsung releases Gen 2. It's really a disaster and Samsung engineers should be ashamed of themselves that they did not do proper long-term testing of the battery and fix the issue before release..

I have had the ring for just over a year, and found it very useful, however I now have the same battery issues that are becoming increasingly common, it used to last 6 - 7 days and now last's a day if I am lucky, I have also had problems contacting customer service, I have tried all resetting and various problem solving to no avail, I am very disappointed and do not expect these issues on something that cost £399 and is a year old. I would avoid and look elsewhere.

The ring didnt last a month! It overheats constant, won't charge despite all the precautions having been taken, it doesn't turn on anymore, not to even mention connecting to the phone. I raised the issue with Samsung previously, who have refused to take the responsibility for their faulty product, trying to instead shift the blame onto the consumer, which is frankly rather disappointing.

Works well until the known disconnect issue happened @ 18 months. Ring will not stay connected when wearing, unit disconnects shortly after removal from charger and will not reconnect without bing placed in the craddle. All appropriate fault and fix proceedures followed. An expensive product if it does not last well...

After about 13 months of use, the battery in my Galaxy Ring started draining rapidly and now doesn’t even last few hours. For such wearable device, this lifespan is simply unacceptable. I sent the ring for repair following Samsung’s advice and was charged an inspection fee, only to be told that fixing it would cost more than buying a brand-new device. A product at this price point should last significantly longer than just over a year! Very disappointed. Not recommended.

5 months after purchase the ring is dead & not covered under Samsung Warranty This is just a warning for anyone thinking of purchasing.. I bought it day one (£800) and wore it 24/7 Only taking off when showering so I didn't scratch my face when washing and also took off whenever I went the gym as I didn't want barbell to dent it like my wedding ring several years prior Last few weeks battery went from 3 to 4 days life to needing to be charged every day, after 4 or 5 days of that it then refused to charge at all, then it went dead Followed the excellent Samsung warranty repair service, next say a courier arrived and bagged it up to send to repair center.. Few days later (today) I get an email from the repair center as follows: Following the full inspection of your device and in line with Samsung's guidelines, we would like to inform you that your device will not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty and therefore will be a chargeable repair - £454 Its not even been out 5 or 6 months.. Obviously shocked at this I called Samsung, they were very helpful to be fair.. To a point, they looked into the repair account and said there are microscopic pictures of a fracture/crack on the outside of the ring, so no warranty as it's classed as impact damage Not sure how, I don't have a manual handling job and the only manual handling I do is the gym which I don't even wear the ring for, I leave it at home.. I said to Samsung you can see I have the new watch too and I'm sure with all the data these things collect you can even prove what I'm saying that I take the watch the gym and not the ring No budging, so now Im left with an £800 broken ring, which I won't pay to repair because let's be honest if it doesn't last 5 months from new how long will it last after a repair, I have no where to go because it has a microscopic crack Warning.. Stay away, save your money, what a waste.. All I can do is wait 6 to 12 months for this to happen to more people and make the press at some point, then maybe I can contact them to say see, it's not just me.

Got at launch and battery life dropped off a cliff after less than a year. Not even lasting one day. Got a replacement under warranty - brilliant, happy days. (It was 'repaired' despite being unrepairable and having a completely new ring sent back to me) Now the replacement is doing the same thing less than 8 month's into its life. Even though it's a new product, it is only covered by the remaining warranty time of the original. This means that a brand new product can fail in a few short months and there's nothing you can do about it. A product that becomes useless in under 1 year is considered to be fit for purpose??!! 2 rings, both fail in months, the product obviously has a flaw - and I'm not the only one saying this. It's about time Samsung acknowledged this and issued partial refunds. I'm not paying an extortionate amount (more than simply buying a new ring) for a 'repair' only to be sent another new device that fails after another few months.

We're sorry to see that you are facing issues with the battery life on your Galaxy Ring following a repair, Shaun. This certainly isn't the experience we would expect from such a high quality device. As our warranty is repair based, replacements are only possible in scenarios where a product is deemed irreparable, and this will be mentioned on your repair notes. In the event that a replacement is issued, the original warranty still stands. There isn't a common issue with the Ring's battery that we are aware of, however, we are always here to help no matter the warranty status of your device. Please take a look at the following guide from our colleagues abroad which will help increase your battery life: https://www.samsung.com/ae/support/mobile-devices/troubleshooting-galaxy-ring-battery-drain/ If this issue persists, please reach out to our Support Teams for help with the next steps. I've had my ring for under a year and at first absolutely loved it. I find it great for period tracking - it worked very well for me. however the last 3 months the battery life has been shocking. Its slowly holding battery less and less each day, and now its down to a couple of hours maybe. which is pointless. very disappointed, also there doesnt seem to be any way to contact customer services/make a complaint.

i love the design of the ring and the fact that it fills in the gap when i sleep as i cant wear smartwatch to bed. unfortunately it seems highly inaccurate in all categories according to some deeper researches. which is very disappointing and kind of regretting buying something for 400 pounds which is this inaccurate. i do question what is the point of this beauty when even gestures are not working on my s24 ultra. overlay i am hugely disappointed with this tech. and cant even return it most probably as they going to deduct usage fee as i did scratched it in the process. SAD i am keeping it but hoping it will improve with updates.

Love the concept of this ring! To have something measure all of my health parameters with a device that weighs less than 3g on my finger is insane!! I was happy when I bought my Galaxy Ring, me and my husband bought one each at release. But just before my husbands warranty was up, the battery would not last a day, after a return to the repair team, they sent him a new ring out. My ring lasted about 4 months longer until the battery started to drain quickly, and now doesnt even last a day. I sent it in for repair, and they charged me £30 for an inspection, to then tell me "because it is out of warranty it will cost me £400 for it to be fixed". After checking the price of a brand new ring, it was more expensive to repair it than it would to buy a new one. Thats ridiculous. If youre sending a product, I would expect it to last longer than a year and half. It is now no better than a paper weight. On another note, after this all started happening, I decided to look on the web to see if anyone else was having this issue, and there are A LOT of people saying their ring didn't last much longer than a year. Also looking at the replies to these 1 star reviews, they're saying that this isn't a known issue. Hows about look online and and your own reviews, Samsung should be acknowledging that they have a problem. I won't be buying anything from Samsung again after this, after being a loyal customer for my adult life.

I have used the Ring for two weeks, I bought it from EE for £290. First, there is no need to pay for a Ring Size Device, just measure your finger with the info found online. The sleep tracker is poor. If you get up in the night to use the toilet it doesn't measure any further sleep. If you have a catnap in the afternoon, it doesn't measure that. Last night i fell asleep before 10.30pm and woke around 5am, according to the Ring I didn't fall asleep until ten past twelve and said I had only four hours sleep. The battery lasted for five days, not too bad but not a week. I had no problem with connectivity, and it pair with my phone without any problem. If the ring swivels at any time it can affect the results, personally I don't believe it is necessary to record your details all day.

It was great while it lasted. I bought it in August 2024, so I've had it just over a year. At first, I only had to charge it once a week, but over time the interval got shorter and shorter. For a while, I made sure to charge it every evening before bed. Today, it turned off mid-workout — in the middle of the day. I would not recommend it. It’s definitely too expensive for something that only gives you about a year of good use.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review of the Galaxy Ring. Your thoughts, feedback and experience are extremely important to us. We're sorry to hear that your Ring has started losing power, and we'd love to help with this. Ensure the ring is worn snugly, with the orientation indicator facing your palm, as this will provide the most accurate sensor readings and less battery drain. We'd recommend checking for software updates, and you can do so by following these steps: Open the Galaxy Wearable app > Ring Settings > Ring software update. I have so many different Samsung Appliances like Fold 7, S25 Ultra, Flip 6, Freestyle 2, Tab S10, TV Neo, laptop... high tier on my Samsung account, but I can tell you 100%: Samsung should review it and release a new generation.

I was originally happy when I got this in October 2024, it had more sleep analysis than other products I was looking at to track my chronic insomnia. By August 2025, the battery doesn't even last 24 hours - I thought it was just me leaving the Bluetooth on but to test it, I charged it to 100% before a nap and 3hrs later the battery was down to 50%! Obviously by the time I googled the issue and found out the battery drain is a common problem, the warranty has expired. I sent it to Samsung repair anyway as if it is a known fault, it should still be covered, but after paying £30 to just have it looked at by the repair team, they concluded the only way to fix it would cost £414 - MORE than a brand new one?! No logic and also regardless of warranty, this is a widely known and publicised issue. Extremely frustrating as I use Samsung products across my home, but that doesn't matter to them apparently, customer loyalty goes out the window.

Was great when I bought it. The battery lasted about 5 - 7 days. Over time it has gotten worse. Now a year later and it lasts less than a day. This is just rubbish. waste of money. Do not buy. The support for this is also non existant - The battery life of your smart ring will decrease over time. This is normal for battery powered devices. Here are some things you can try to improve the battery life of your smart ring: • Avoid exposing the ring or its battery to very cold or very hot temperatures as it may lead to the reduction of useful charge. • Try disabling any features that you don't use as having many features enabled will decrease the battery life. • When you're not using the ring, you should store it in the charging case to charge the ring back up. Thank you for using our troubleshooter. If you need any further information, please visit our support page. So there you have it, they basically say tough luck, your on your own.

The Ring is a great bit of tech. Feels great, looks great... BUT It is missing one critical feature when paired with the Watch's. Being able to disable health monitoring and heart rate on the watch while continuing to use the ring. At the moment, the ring disables automatically and the watch keeps doing it, despite the watch having less battery life. Add that and this would be fantastic.

I used to love the ring for the first a few months I'd say. It's just over a year since purchase now, and the battery is absolutely shocking. It doesn't even last half the day, which results in my steps and sleep not being tracked. I love Samsung, and to be honest, I was expecting better.

Very disappointed with this product. Heavily invested with Samsung having ultra phone, tablet, watch, 2 TV's and a projector, but the ring is a total let down. Having paid £400 for the ring mainly to use as a sleep tracker and step counter. The battery after about a year would just about last a day. Now 14 months In the ring does not stay connected to my phone, so when I check Samsung health none of my steps are logged. If this cost £99 I could understand the short life cycle but at £400 this is extremely poor and no news from Samsung about a much better replacement with a much better battery life. I'm now looking at your competitors for a better quality ring that has a much better life span. Having to use another app other than Samsung health is a small price to pay than pay Samsung £400 for a ring that just about makes it out of warranty. Poor show Samsung for a company finding it difficult to make good profit on it's products to send a product to market that is so poor. Makes me question my eco system choices across all my products.

I purchased a galaxy ring on the 08/08/2025 and it stopped working completely on the 25/10/2025. It wont charge (the case seems to be working as it is fully charged, but nothing with the ring). Currently trying to arrange for samsung to have a look at it but keep getting stuck in a loop on the your account support page. I have even tried using the support chat and got cut off. Very dissapointed and with the customer support for I am starting to have doubts about staying with the samsung galaxy eco system (z fold 6, S24 ultra, galaxy watch 8 classic and galaxy book 3 360). I am aware know that their has been alot of issues around the battery on the galaxy ring (batteries failing, and a youtube video on how the battery expanded for one user requiring him to attend hospital to have it removed) wish i had known this before purchsing. When i initially bought the ring it was perfect, worked great, connected with my other both my Z Fold 6 and S24 Ultra well and the battery was lasting for at least 5/6 days (probably longer but i was religiously charging when it got down to around 15%). design looks sleek and the sensors when the ring actually worked were good.

Thought this would be a great product as I enjoy my samsung phone and watch, Unfortunately it was sent for repair with battery issues, then returned worked for a further 4 months and battery dies stright away, typical it lasted to 2 weeks over the warranty and it would have been cheaper to replace than get it repaired. Bought the ring in December 2024. By December 2025 I was experiencing battery problems. I was told they were my fault as I was 'using the ring too much and to charge it when I wasn't using it'. Given I use it all the time and expected to get at least a few days wear out of it, this wasn't an acceptable answer. At the time I didnt have the capacity to argue the toss. 6 months on from this, June 2026, I cant even get a full day out of the battery. In good conscience I would never be able to recommend this ring. The product feels rushed, and unfit for purpose. When I made a complaint I feel like I was fobbed off deliberately so that by the time I came back to complain I'd be out of warranty and they'd be off scott free. For over £300, and given their well reviewed watches, I expected so much more. I'm hoping Google might bring their own out soon, or I may just have to pay for the Oura ring (shame about the subscription), but I went with Samsung as I have regularly owned their products and trusted them, but now, I'm not so sure. The product uses Galaxy Health, like the watches, so no problem there with a nice app, but due to the poor longevity of the product, I just can't give it more than one star and in any way encourage someone else to buy one 😞

In terms of its features it sounds like like it’s a great alternative to wearing a bulky watch. I also understand that it’s comparable with Samsung apps and iOS if necessary. It is incredibly frustrating to invest in a premium, high-tech device only to find out it has a built-in expiration date because the battery can't be replaced. The Samsung Galaxy Ring is sealed in resin, making it 100% unrepairable. Once the lithium-ion battery degrades after its standard charge cycles, the device effectively becomes e-waste.

We're sorry to hear that you're not happy with the sealed design of your Galaxy Ring. Your size and model of Ring is engineered to be premium, durable and long lasting. Your model of Ring has an 18.5 mAh battery, and the charging case has a 361 mAh battery.
