Generally very pleased with the phone. Initially I had difficulty turning the phone off using the side button because it had been set to Digital Assistant rather than Turn Off mode. (See Advanced Settings). Having sorted that out, I can say that I am pleased with the phone.

Recent quick buy after my young niece's previous phone very suddenly packed up, and was too costly to repair. She loves it and I've been impressed so far. This phone is great looking; lovely blue shade, looks stylish as you'd expect from a Samsung. Has all the features required by a youngster needing her phone to keep in touch with friends and family, as well as keeping up-to-date with all their socials. Best of all, was that the phone was on sale so a great price. Despite not breaking the bank, pleased with the memory size, clear graphics, good screen size, and pretty decent sound. Still early days, but it's looking good!

Spent ages doing my research for a new phone...in the end I went for the A17..made a good choice, am in OAP..and was able to do all change overs updates etc my self..am very pleased, the perfect phone for me, and also with £30 off the already reasonable price it was a no brainer

Bought this a week ago. Decided against another really expensive phone as I'm past the point of caring about that anymore my samsung s20 packed up after 6 years so this will do me. Set up using samsing switch took 4 hours (that's due to the vast amount of stuff on other phone!) This phone uses a lot of google stuff so text messages are google messages. You can turn RCS chat off using phone settings. But it is google messages that cannot be changed! Camera good, speed good. Screen size huge! It's got gemini if you need the AI tools. Which I don't as I just now need a phone to look at all my apps banking, readly etc etc. Biometric right side under volume buttons you have to roll what ever finger/thumb around until it hits 100 percent and then it's good to go as it instructs. No issues with this at all. I'm opting out of ALL location, security follow me everywhere settings as I don't want or need it to do that. Volume is good connects to my bluetooth ear buds fine. Quality is good. I purchased a rubber case off another site to stop me dropping it as the phone without is slippery.

Got this as an upgrade from my Samsung A12. I've had it a few days now and it's seem fine. I used the Samsung app which allows me to move everything from my old phone to my new one which was okay - I got a bit stuck with it but muddled through. It's worth checking out Youtube to see what guff they add as I changed some of the settings to extend the battery life and adjusted some of the settings on the apps to stop unnecessary intrusions.

I bought this phone to be a temporary replacement, battery is okay, display is fine but the phone is slow and the build quality is very poor and cheap. Samsungs UI is horrible and the camera is basic. I'll be selling soon when I get my preferred phone, would I suggest it for older people and for people who needs a spare or temporary phone yes.

Bought this as it was on offer & am very pleased. So easy to transfer everything over from other device, has great camera & battery life. Easy to navigate through every setting. Sound quality is a little tinny but its not a major issue - so far so good.
I recommended this product.

I purchased this phone as a temporary replacement whilst my normal phone is away for repair. So far it has proved to be very good value. Long battery long battery life and quick performance overall. Although I do miss the 5G connection

Hi I brought this phone recently, so far I'm happy with the storage space and with the camera quality. It's definitely an upgrade from my previous android phones. Easy to set up. Battery charge has good span throughout the day and battery saver comes in handy when it's been a long while too.

Unfortunately having to upgrade a phone due to degradation of battery performance is necessary with new phones being expensive for no more than a 2 year performance lifespan. We decided to use a cheaper model this time for the cost benefit and to see is its performance was acceptable. So far the phone seems to work just as good as the more expensive phone but time will tell if it will fall off quicker than the previous phone. The most annoying thing is that you have to use the side button and not the screen to use your fingerprint to open the phone otherwise the functions we use regularly appear to be fine.

My first smart phone and I am really pleased with it, having used a very old Nokia for years I wanted something that was not too complicated that I could use to make the odd call/text, use of internet for research when out and about and something that will take good photos, this phone does it all. The build is good and it feels very durable, the performance is nice and quick, battery life is excellent and I am very pleased with the camera. It is a great phone at a great price, I would definitely recommend this and would buy again.
