I'm a confirmed Samsung person with more than 20 device of various kind registered. I bought this to replace my 8 year old Candy heat pump drier. Like all Samsung products, it's great but appears to lack the one feature I needed, DELAY START. My Samsung washing machine has this feature why not the drier (It has the same button as the washing machine but not the same function!. I want to dry on cheap rate electricity overnight, now I can't (unless I get up in the middle of the night to turn the drier on 🤣😭. I've tried looking through the SmartThings App but no help. Disappointed at the apparent lack of this basic feature on such an otherwise high performance machine.

Impressed with my tumble dryer. Uses very little electricity, runs quietly. Has several automatic programs and can be controlled with my phone. The washing is nice and soft when completed. The drum is large enough to get a full wash load in. Would consider Samsung for other products.

What a brilliant buy, it has a stainless steel drum, looks good and is very quiet. The water drawer is a bit cheap looking and small. The lint dust catcher is a little on the small side. The back legs weren't adjustable which was a major problem for me because my floor slipped down at the back. Display and hidden buttons are boring.

The water drawer is engineered from lightweight, semi-translucent materials to ensure it's easy for you to see how full it is and to empty it, and we want to reassure you that the build quality remains as premium and durable as the rest of your machine. It has a capacity of approximately 4.5 to 5 litres, and is designed to hold more than the moisture extracted from a maximum load of damp laundry, meaning it will never become full mid-cycle. If you prefer, you can instead connect the dryer directly to your household wastewater pipe or sink drain, letting the water empty automatically. The lint catcher is designed to sit flush inside the bottom rim of the door area, and features two lint catchers in one, maximising its size. Had tumble drier for 2 wks, works fine so far - dries well. The only down point is that I found the touch screen a bit slow to react and not sensitive enough, especially the start/pause button - have to press it quite hard 2-3 times for the drier to start. [This is comparing to my Siemens washing machine, which touch screen responds to the lighter touch]. Also, sound signal is a slightly annoying whole "melody", rather than just a short beep. Make sure to download full instruction manual for info on program features, door reversal (the main reason this particular model was chosen) and troubleshooting, as short manual my drier came with has none of this usefull details.

Bought as a replacement, (condenser dryer packed in) after researching various appliances & prices, & using my Blue Lights Card, it came in as a winner. It’s the right size capacity for my household, but I find it’s noisy & as the heat is lower it takes longer, but still going through the manual to decipher features, connectivity feature via my phone is pointless, be good if I could load & programme to start/ stop etc whilst I’m out, as it only gets used a couple of times a week, I’m sure it’s more economical, will no for sure when I receive my electricity bill, but overall good machine & nice design Would be easier to register if the product numbers / codes / barcode etc was on the front rather than on the rear

Only had it for a few weeks, seems easy to operate. I was surprised how much water comes put, especially on a towel dry. Ive always had vented tumble dryers and it took me a while looking for a replacement, reading reviews etc. I like the app, but cant seem to find how i can put in my kwh instead of the one its using. Things take longer to dry and this has to be inside rather than the coverted garage that has no heating, so thats a bit of a pain. Its noisier than i thought it would be as ive gone for a more expensive model than previously. But saying that im hoping that the savings in energy will make up for the slight inconveniences.

Awful machine and awful customer service. Dryer not heating up at all, stays completely cold on every setting despite running on every setting for at least 30mins to really check it out. What a waste of electricity! Runs Samsung 6 times, could barely hear with the noise of their call centre, each time no one is able to help, tried online support, nothing working. Useless waste of money product and diabolical customer support. I thought Samsung was a trusted brand, clearly not! Also once you started a cycle and opened the door you can change the cycle without turning the whole thing off and back on again. Such an awful design.

Terrible product. Worse Customer Service! Purchased this product apprx 18 months ago. Would not recommend this product for a busy household as it just takes too long to dry. After about 12-14 months it started taking 12 hours + to dry our clothes. We contacted customer service and they sent a repair person twice. Both times he found nothing wrong with the dryer, even though clearly it was not working efficiently. Eventually, after persisting with it, we.got a hazard warning that said "please plug out the machine and contact customer service". I did this and explained that we had been having on going issues with the product for months. I was told this was now a separate issue and our warrantee had run out. Very disappointed with the product and the customer experience.

To start with my only niggle is that’s it is hard to see the led marker on the control dial, as we get a lot of light coming in the room. Other than that, I cannot fault it. It is a little bit noisier than my old vented tumble dryer, but for the time it takes to dry my clothes, it’s not an issue. It saves us a lot on electric costs also. Thank you Samsung. Pleased customer.

I have used this dryer for almost two week and already I'm finding it a game changer. I no longer need to check the weather to decide when to wash clothes and I don't have clothes in various parts of the house trying to get them dry. My clothes go straight from the washing machine to the dryer and then the cupboards. I'm still experimenting with my new machine so I haven't used some of the features yet. I'm very happy with what I have used. I don't know the exact cost of drying a load of washing yet but from what I was told in the store it should be significantly less than my last dryer.

The actual dryer itself is very good and a lot more energy efficient than our old condenser dryer. Feature packed aswell. My one gripe was getting it connected to the WiFi which should have been easy however it took ages and I ended up on Samsungs live chat facility which was really quite unhelpful and a waste of time. After go ogling the issue I finally got it resolved after much frustration. A tip is to make sure your WiFi security doesn't have WPA3 enabled and if your WiFi name has any special characters in it try taking them out and having only numbers and letters. Doing those things worked for me but that was no thanks to Samsungs customer service but apart from that the machine is very good.

Aesthetically beautiful in Black. I always think Black appliances are finished to a higher standard.and keep their appearance for many years. Very easy to use, the 8kg drum is perfect size and the ligh is great, we never thought we needed a light, but when you’ve got one you see small items you would otherwise have missed. We expected it to take a lot longer to dry, but it wasn’t that dissimilar to our previous one, but much cheaper to run. All in all very happy, especially with a five year warranty after registration over the phone to Samsung. We’re both getting on in years and disabled so we did worry that we’d need to link our smart phones to it to control it, but you don’t have to do that, it functions perfectly manually. You can attach a hose (provided) so you don’t need to empty the tank, but it’s so easy to empty the tank there’s no need. The only thing we haven’t worked out is what the * symbol on the screen stands for, but we’ll figure it out lol.

The worse move I made buying a heat pump dryer. Even the repair guys said they wouldn't have one. I have to put everything on Duvet XL and still, after 2.3 hrs everything comes out damp. SAMSUNG wouldn't do anything about it as no error message comes up. If you want to dry one pair of tights for a night out ladies ... then plan ahead! Bring back my old basic, no fuss dryer!

After having grown up with a tumble drier but then having my own home for 4 years without one, I was in dire need, especially with a (first) baby on the way. This is perfect and exactly what I needed and just sped up operations in the home so I no longer have to spend too long with the process of washing/drying/putting away. Clothes come out so soft and fresh and there is loads of features. Love the wifi connection, and anti wrinkle setting, if you can't get to it right away. Also, love that even if the program looks quite long, it's usually quite a bit shorter due to sensor dry.

I have had this dryer for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with it It has many options to dry your laundry and it even sends you a notification when the cycle has finished, which is great as I have it in the garage which is great when I'm busy. Also it tells you on the smart things app how much energy it has used which isnt a lot. I would highly recomend this dryer

Love the use of the app to connect to the dryer to modify settings or check mid-cycle, the remaining time. Drying time is slightly longer than the old vented tumble dryer I had, but the features and the energy saving is so worth it. Would buy another. Shame that when I purchased my dryer, the price went down £190 2 weeks later! Absolutely gutted about that.

This dryer seems more gentle on my clothes than ones I've previously used. It takes slightly longer than expected, but I'm happy with that as it's gentler on the clothes and is using less electricity to dry them. Nice looking machine with easy and intuitive controls. Easy to empty filter and water chamber. If I had any minor grumble it would be that it's slightly noisier than expected. With an upgraded 5 year warranty via John Lewis deal, I'm happy with this buy. Not a cheap purchase for me but I'm expecting it to last.

Excellent value for money - and - when it stops, the clothes are dried totally or by the chosen amount. The enclosed instruction book is a disgrace - it doesn't even show a picture of the display symbols with their meanings. Nor does it mention the built-in wi-fi capabilities and how to use them. The Samsung support website does not show any alternative. However a major retailer has a Samsung booklet online with 54 pages which give all the detail one could wish, including door reversal.

I bought this machine to replace a 9 year old heat pump dryer which packed up. I bought directly from the Samsung UK website and was pleased by the ease of ordering and the speed of delivery (I could have had it the next day). I also paid for my old machine to be taken away and recycled. I’ve only had this a short while but, so far, I have found it easy to use and the clothes dried perfectly. Using the SmartThings app I have been able to tweak the drying programmes to suit my requirements.

the noise level is beyond acceptable level, would definitely hear at any corner of the house. The clothes would 80-85% dry after finished whole cycle, need to hang after drying. Not worth this price

this tumble dryer has many useful features and includes timed dry which we use along side towel dry, quick dry a 35 minute program and iron dry. When in use the dryer is extremely quiet sensors stop the dryer if clothes fully dry before runtime ends. sensible loading of the dryer prevents programs over running on completion a light shines on the contents so nothing is left behind When machines ends a program a pleasing tune notifies the user. All in all an excellent product

this is a great machine, but let down by the user manual there are two available on the website a small and a larger version, you get the smaller one with the machine so missing out on how to change the door opening side left or right also pictures on how to use the control panel and a bit more. the difference between 27 pages small V and 53 pages large V but enough moaning a great machine and a 5 year warranty.

Bought this as we were fed up with drying clothes on radiators all winter. Decided on heat pump as meant to be better on bills, yet to find out but it certainly works well, drys most loads in about 2 hours. Need to empty the water tank most times, but just shows how much water was going into our house when radiator drying. If you're fitting somewhere hard to access make sure you get the serial number off the back for the warranty to save moving it again.

I can honestly say that the Samsung Heat Pump Tumble Dryer is the best appliance I’ve ever bought! From the moment I started using it, I’ve been completely blown away. This is my first tumble dryer so I'm not expected much because my experience with washer-dryer is not really good, clothes got wrinkle easily. But to my surprise this one work really well. Clothes come out dry, even smoother and fluffier than before. Only things I don't like is the door should be white together with the machine and if it can be a little more quite, it will be perfect.

Between AI damp detector and delay timer it’s a great dryer. Only drawback is the heat exchanger needs regular cleaning and is awkward to clean (The fins need to be vacuumed but debris is too damp to easily vacuum and the fins bend too easily.)/ impossible to thoroughly clean without full disassembly. As a result, the machine (but thankfully not the clothes) has a damp smell…

This is an almost perfect purchase for my family, only criticism is that the black colour of the plastics are not as dark black as the Samsung fridge we also own, also the cabinet of the dryer has a brushed black effect which is also slightly more brown/ lighter in hue that it appears in photographs. This however is not a big problem. Very happy so far with the product.

Initially I was reluctant about heat pump due the long drying times specified but having run over 10 loads through it I’m glad I purchased it, most loads are taking around 90 mins & costing a fraction of my old vented dryer, this is under 20p an hour to run vs old one that was £1.40, stop thinking about it & get one absolutely love it!

Dryer itself is great. Works well and plenty of options. Not sure why the visual gauge has been removed from the water tank such that you can see the level without removing the drawer. Was useful on the older model that this one replaced. Aware there's an automatic display alert when it's full but by that time it is really full.

We needed a new dryer because are old one had given up the ghost. Went down to our local Currys and saw this machine. It was just what we wanted, we have other Samsung products. MY wife was happy because it had a simple dial on the front and is easy to use. She was impressed with the looks of the machine and its ease of use.

I purchased this dryer to replace my old indesit. The initial performance was excellent, quicker than I expected; and produced very dry towels. Imonitored the electricity consumption and found it to be less than half thatof my previous dryer. Over all I am very happy with this product; and would definitely recomend It.

If you have a dual tariff for electric, you can only define when the program ends via the dryer. Smart things (app) will let you start the program at a specific time but you are limited to one program and one dryness setting if doing so. Our old non-smart dryer was so much more versatile in terms of delaying start/end.

From my first load I have found that the dryer drys the clothes without heat on the cloths only warm air. Could not believe how good this machine is and how it drys without the heat I expect from a tumble dryer. The settings are just right for all my type of clothes. The smart app is fantastic with the extra settings.

It is much more efficient than my previous heatpump tumble dryer (different brand). Just the correct optimal capacity. The connectivity app is very convenient for me to control my various smart things devices whilst away from home. The drying settings are the optimal time for the various settings available.

No issues with the dryer. But purchase support to navigate the million variables and also to install the Samsung Stacking kit live have been poor. The stacking kit was particularly fustrating as it was missings a few screws and the instructions were amazingly poor and non-intuitive for a 'consumer' brand

Compared to my last Heat Pump dryer this is much quieter and and easier to maintain. The water tray empties easily and the filters too. Drying performance seems to be what you expect and clothes come come out dry. Very happy with this machine and will be buying the matching Washing machine this week :-)

We had a vented dryer for 23 years and it just gave up so after a fair bit of research, we decided to purchase this heat pump dryer as it had a great write up on Which? Magazine. We have only used it acouple of times and so far it seems to have worked well although the drying times are extremely long.

I'm really happy with my tumble dryer, especially the smart things connection. You can add it to your appliances and operate/adjust settings and programs from your phone. It's not as quiet as my new Samsung washing machine but that's expected, because of the heat pump. Definitely recommend it.

After many hours of researching it was between this and another make. That had the best energy rating but with only 2 years warranty this had 5 with a slightly less energy rating. It's easy enough to use. I haven't used all the functions as we mainly use it for bedding and towels.

Used to have a washer dryer which would take about 4.5 hours to dry and this can dry a full load in about 1.5 hours. Can dry smaller loads in about half an hour which is great. We will tell with time in terms of energy efficiency. Only slight downside is that it can get a bit loud.

Quiet, energy saving and did the job. Don't need to worry the wet clothes and the moisture from hanging the clothes on the radiator in the winter anymore. Have been using it for 2 weeks, no issues so far. A bit expensive but it worths the money. Bought it in black friday deal.

I am very happy indeed with this purchase. It is very easy to operate, quiet and the clothes come out dry and soft. The water tank is easy to remove and empty. There is plenty of space for a large load. The fact that is is A++ rated as well is a real bonus.

Great Machine with good programs, have only used it 4-5 times, so still learning. The lint trap works great and I suggest you empty it often so that it doesn't get clogged up. The only think I noticed is that it is a bit louder that our washing machine.

Works well. Clothes dry much quicker than shown on the display, quiet and user friendly. BUT when the door is reversed from left opening to right opening it does not seal properly so not able to use this feature, which is a pain.

Quiet, large drum and able to dry clothes for a family of four with ease. The shoe rack is incredibly useful too. The only thing I would like to see is a timer function, but other than that, I am already noticing the savings!!

This machine is so quiet, Easy to use. and dries very quickly. Great value for heat pump machine . And the rating should save money over its lifetime. Plus the two year Warranty has been extended to 5 years free.

I really like this dryer, it dries the clothes fast, doesn't create too much heat and so far my clothes have all been dried quicker than the expected time given at the beginning of the cycle.

Takes a bit of getting used to, the times horrify you but the sensors cut down the times thank goodness. Should save us money over the time we will have it. Last condenser dryer lasted 16yrs

I'm now a real convert from old condensing tumble dryers. This one is so much quieter and energy efficient (especially when I use the timer delay and use low cost overnight electricity).
