I contacted Samsung about an issue with my washing machine. Although it had been out of warranty for several years, they offered me a loyalty discount, which I really appreciated. The new washing machine is excellent and I’m very happy with it. I’ve always been a Samsung fan. With Samsung, you’re never left on your own.

The pump and motor have both failed at 39 months old which is really poor. The machine is used in a typical family household so is in regular use but not excessive. We bought direct from Samsung on this website however Samsung are now refusing to honour the 5 warranty, saying it was not processed correctly by a Samsung employee after they delivered. There is nothing Customer service can do to resolve it after 2 hours on the phone. The machine is now destined for scrap as it’s not economic to repair. I will not be replacing with another Samsung!

Bought this to replace my 10 year old 12kg Samsung. You cannot notice the difference between 11 and 12KG. It is extremely quiet, connects to my phone and has some really useful features. Most used feature - 15 minute wash and 40 minute speed wash. The speed wash is exceptional and blasts the washing with additional jest whilst washing. Finally there is the addition of steam, which helps to sanitise items. Overall very happy.

The machine is so quiet that you can hardly hear it. The large capacity has been great, being able to fit more in a single wash. Previously I was doing 4-5 washes a week, but now, with the larger capacity machine, I am only doing 2-3 washes, saving a lot energy.

The machine is lovely, washing clothes, big drum, lots of cycles to pick from. A few notes for Samsung development, I gave up with WiFi connection, never worked from Day 2 There is no place to keep the liquid soap stopper, the thing you put in the draw. You need to create a small slot in the draw. The drum is soo big my little socks get stuck in the rubber seal. I know you say use a sock bag but a family of five they do not fit. Cloudy cycle does all my washing now.

After just 3 years, the motherboard has died and I have to either spent a few hundred pounds on a new one, or I have to buy a new machine. Whilst the features are really good on this machine, it's also quite difficult to clean some parts of it, meaning that my clothes have started to smell a little even after washing.

I love how quiet the machine is however I don’t actually like any of the cycles this machine has. The eco cycle auto detects the appropriate temperature by sensing the material in the load, but it does not display the temperature it has chosen and therefore I can not trust it to not be too hot and not damage the clothes. There are only a couple of cycles that allow 11kg, the rest are really low. I have actually just done a wash and the drum still had water in it so had to run another cycle to drain it. Socks and laundry pods get flung to the front of the drum and just sit on the edge whilst the rest of the clothes is washed. Thinking about it now, I actually hate this machine and will probably end up selling it.

I purchased this a month ago as a replacement for my old Samsung machine that lasted 8 years and worked very well. The machine says it has a 9kg load capacity which it does but only on certain programmes. The Eco wash takes a 9kg load but I am unsure how it can be eco as it takes nearly 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete. There is a speed wash about 45 mins but that only takes 5kg. The wash for bedding only takes a load of 2kg and is on for about 2 hours. I am not convinced that my duvet cover, bottom sheet and pillow cases don't weigh more than this which means splitting it into two loads (I am spending lots of time jumping on the scales weighing baskets of washing!). There is a time delay on the machine but this is controlled though an app om your mobile, not just simple press buttons like my old machine. Sadly after owning this for about a month I am not entirely happy with my new washing machine, hopefully this will improve.

I love the integration with Smartthings (it set itself up on Smartthings, not sure how, but it was easy), allowing me to setup the wash on my phone with ease and monitor its progress and then Alexa annouces when the wash is complete so it doesnt sit around in the machine for hours. The machine is so quiet even on full spin and a lot more efficient than my old machine which saves on electicity.

Don’t bother after reading other reviews this is not the first occurrence with this model. The machine leaked water everywhere on its first cycle, will not switch on and door is locked. Not worth it all and the customer service team is non existent, 0help and intentionally close chats and transfer back and forth between teams.

Nice, clean, minimalistic design. Controls are easy to use and there are plenty of options to change standard programmes, e.g. if you want extra rinses or lower spin speeds. Have had a Samsung washing machine for the past 8 years but finally the bearings went, so as i have had no issues int he past I decided on purchasing a second one, and its just lovely. I got one with a slightly bigger wash load capacity and all round I am very happy with it.

Very smooth. Loved the calibration at the start to make sure everything is centred and level in the drum/motor after installation. Great choice of cycles. Works brilliant. I hope it uses less energy. For a young family it is precious to have a high load capacity to wash all those dirty clothes daily. The noise is so quiet. And when the cycle's finished the classical music is very entertaining for the kids.

Early days but the 15 min and the 40 minute quick wash are really useful. The WiFi informing us of when the washing is done on a phone has now made our timer redundant. Only issue is the age old one of small socks getting caught in the door seal.

The washing machine front looks tidy and sleek. The settings are easy to understand as each one shows temp, time, spin, max KG and rinse options when you click through. Seems decent with a good range of cycles. Nice looking machine, finishing tune will drive you mad but at least you can turn it off. Why can't I bring myself to turn it off though? Maybe I do like it. Anyway, only slight negative is that it introduces water pretty aggressively which causes our water pipes to shudder slightly. Not noticeable in the day but annoying at night.
