Auto Pan Detector

When a pot or pan is placed centrally on a cooking zone, it instantly detects if the diameter and size is suitable for that zone. If they cover less than 60 percent of the zone, it will alert you with a message to use different cookware.

Child Safety Lock

Child Safety Lock prevents even the most determined children from activating the cooking surface. With a simple touch of a button, the control panel can be completely locked, so it’s impossible to turn on the hob accidentally or intentionally - minimizing the risk of little hands getting burnt.

So disappointed with my Samsung purchase!! I've had induction hobs in the past and always cleaned them with a lint free cloth and washing up liquid and water on the cloth, then dried! I have never had any problems. I purchased this hob back in January 2024, now less than 6 months later I've had the top layer of the hob bubble in one place. Samsung have said that the hob isn't covered by the warranty as it's miss use, I should have been cleaning it with glass cleaner or ceramic cleaner. So so disappointed, who would have thought diluted washing up liquid could make the top layer of your hob bubble!!!!! Have always loved Samsung, I have a washing machine and fridge which are great but I won't be buying a Samsung product again!!!

Terrible hob, it will not simmer, it pulses on and off at any setting below 7 to the point the water stops boiling for 3 secs then boils for 3 secs then stops, that is not simmering, can't cook rice like that! Got it for new kitchen fitted, 2 hours chatting with customer services where they tried to tepl me all sorts like the power to my house may not be 240v errmm it is and you have to simmer with the lid on err i've had 2 induction hobs before that could simmer perfecrly well, can only think must be faulty, anyway was immediately uninstalled and currentpt awaiting pick up feom DPD to send back for a refund, I love Samsung products but if this is their hob technology I would avoid

I've had two induction hobs previously with no issues. I paid a little more for this Samsung one thinking it might be good but it's not they don't seem to get quite hot enough and slow. I've had an engineer come out today and said it's my pans even though they are all induction pans and they were used on my previous hobs with no issue. I think it would be cheaper to go out and get a different brand hob rather than change all my pans and it might still be rubbish.

Used for a week now and have mixed reviews already. Not sure on the performance as I just moved from a gas cooker to induction. I must say that the gas seems faster to heat things up than this hub, although most reviews states that induction is supposed to be quicker. This makes me feel that this hub is not good enough. it seems to take a long time to boil a medium sized pot of water during a few tests. I though Samsung was meant to be a quality brand which lead me to buy this but now I'm thinging that I should have gone for a budget brand.

Dreadful product, does not work as sold (not 'Fast'). Contacted support and they told me if it's not defective (i.e. it still boils the water, even if it takes 10-15 mins) then I would have to pay engineer for call out. DO NOT BUY!
