Solutions & Tips
- * Odor reduction performance was evaluated by measuring MEK concentration before and after operation under controlled test conditions: a 22±2㎥ chamber, 30-minute test duration, using MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) as the odor substance, analyzed by GC-FID.
- * Based on testing by Intertek of the Mohs hardness rating in accordance with ASTM C1895: General ceramic glass = 5, Samsung Anti-Scratch Glass = 8. For comparison, Diamond = 10, Masonry drill bit = 8, Iron nail = 6.** Based on testing by Samsung in accordance with ASTM G133-95, compared to a Samsung model with conventional glass. Results provided to and interpreted by Intertek. The test involves scratching on the cooktop with a stainless steel ball, with a 6mm diameter and made of SUS304 material, back and forth 10 times with increasing pressure (MPa), and then checking the surface with both the naked eye and a microscope to determine when a scratch is visible.
- * Applicable to Boost mode only. Boost mode operates for up to 5 minutes and then automatically reverts to the previous setting.** Energy Efficiency Grade A+ according to EU Regulation No. 65/1024
- * Smart Mode needs to be activated. When the induction cooktop is turned on, the hood initially operates at Level 3 for the first 2 minutes, then automatically adjusts its power based on the air quality.** Sensor response may vary depending on the amount of smoke, cooking temperature, type of food, and surrounding ventilation conditions.
- * Compared to single-zone of the same product** 'Flex Zone Plus' area can accommodate cookware of up to 36.5x21 cm. Standard diameter for pans commonly found in Europe is 16-24cm.*** Minimum detectable diameter of the bottom of cookware is 14cm.
- 1. * Washable grease filters can be cleaned and reused. Charcoal filters need to be replaced when they reach the end of their lifespan. (Replacement is recommended approximately every 6 months.)** Test method : According to the EN 61591 standard, the test is conducted by operating at the 9th fan speed(600 m³/h) for 30 minutes, followed by an additional 10 minutes of hood operation only, to measure the absorption efficiency of the grease filter components (Wg). - 2. * Includes both fault and non-fault diagnosis. The fault diagnosis is based on an error code on the product while the non-fault diagnosis is a perceived defect that occurs as a usability issue without generating an error code. Certain issues can be detected by AI based on the operational data, regardless of whether it generates an error code or not.** Only available on SmartThings-supported models produced after 2018. Requires the SmartThings App, which is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are also required. Go to feature
- 3. * Available on smart home appliances that are equipped with a Wi-Fi module, released in 2024 and later. It may not be available if the hardware, such as the memory and chip performance, is not supported. Additionally, this support is applicable only for flagship products. Go to feature
- 4. * Three installation types available. Depending on the chosen setup, additional filters or construction work may be required. Please consult Samsung Service Center to confirm compatibility and installation feasibility. Availability may vary depending on your kitchen layout. Go to feature
