Find out what happened when 1,000 people got the chance to try our ovens and hobs at a top food festival.

Cooking a delicious meal is like creating great art – it’s much easier when you have the right tools.

To demonstrate how our ovens help to make the magic happen, Samsung took part in the 2018 Taste of London food festival. As the event’s official home appliance partners, we decided to give visitors a chance to whip up a storm in the Samsung Home Appliances Cookery School.

Taste of London is the city’s premier culinary festival, showcasing the capital’s best restaurants, chefs, and food & drink brands.

The Samsung Home Appliances Cookery School set up its own kitchen at the event, complete with the new Dual Cook Flex™ ovens. We wanted to give visitors a chance to cook and sample some delicious dishes while trying our latest cooking innovations.

Adding Samsung flavour to the festivities

Things quickly got heated up in the Samsung Home Appliances Cookery School, as tutors from the School of Wok gave festival-goers a cooking masterclass. Over 1,000 attendees had the chance to take part in the sessions, where they were given valuable kitchen tips and tricks. Using our latest Home Appliances innovations, attendees learned to prepare Hong Kong Char Siu Bao and Panko Fish Fingers before relaxing to enjoy their culinary creations.

The right ingredients for easy cooking

The Samsung Home Appliances Cookery School was equipped with the new Dual Cook Flex™ oven, which can bake at two different temperatures simultaneously for even greater cooking control. Its hobs feature Virtual Flame Technology™, which allows users to easily see how hot the individual induction rings are. This technology was ideal for the wok-style dishes being prepared at the event, as it could provide the high temperatures and excellent control needed.
