I have just purchased one of these drives from EBUYER to upgrade my HP Envy laptop from HDD to SSD.. What an improvement, boots up in around 20 seconds rather than up to a couple of minutes, shuts down in a similar time and everything is so much quicker and smoother. I did not use the migration software, I use my Macrium Reflect to clone the HDD to the new SSD, took about 90 mins... Swap over took about 15 mins including removing 15 screws that held the bottom cover on... and it booted back up first time. Really impressed so far. The Magician software is very good... Would recommend this drive to bring new life into you computer.

Purchased this in a sale on amazon for £405 for xplane and its been running fine for the last several months the speed is very quickk compared to haviong xplane on a normal Hardrive and has cut load times in half compared to loading up scenery on a hard drive. best sale purchase i have made for the whole system

AMAZING. the difference in speed is unbelievable. I cloned my sata drive onto this ssd and now instead of taking several minutes to boot up it takes less the 20 seconds. Opening and running multiple programs with ease and in a fraction of the time of my old drive. I honestly wish I had done this sooner.

Bought for Lenovo ideapad 330s laptop HDD replacement. The hard drive is broken just after the one year warranty expired. ( The laptop is purchased from a different seller ) It's a shame, and so annoying, but this new Samsung SSD performance is erased all my frustration. After the installation, and been leave the Windows updated, believe or not, but the system is able to start up during 5 second or less, after pressing the on button! Worth to buy, extremely fast reading and writing speed.

I cracked open a broken 4TB seagate xbox HDD and took the adaptor off it.I put the adaptor onto this internal 1TB SSD and it works just fine with my xbox one. Load times are in my opinion on a par with my series x load times. Also I think there is more to "see" in the game as the console can load the content in quicker. I have also noticed that in multiplayer games I can sprint faster than some other players and even catch up to them and overtake them all because of this SSD.

I bought this to replace my sister HD drive which took nearly 5 mins to boot up to the desktop. After attaching this I followed the instructions on how to download and install the disk cloning software and let it do it's work. After 30 mins the drive was copied and I disconnected the old one. Rebooted and it loaded the desktop within 20 seconds. If you haven't upgraded to one of these then I suggest that you do so. They make a HUGE difference to how your computer performs.

please dont forget to initialize and format before use will save lot of problems if using for main O/S one of the fastest SSD,s around remember control panel admin tools disc management scroll down pick new ssd out of list right click on the ssd you just put in it will say in list it brings up initialize click initialize the repeat and this time format it then you are ready to put it as main O/S and install windows etc hope it helps

Time for upgrade and this is the solution. Quiet and fast. Software downloaded from the web within seconds. Installing drive only took five minutes but I had own screws. Unfortunately in the box was no screws or any adaptors but all easy to sort out. Drive working under Windows 10 as a second SSD and it was easy to install using disk management. Novice will manage no problem. Not sure of the life span but expecting to last at least 5 years.

I have needed to work out why my PC is so slow. Looked into different internal drives, always heard an SSD is quicker, but didnt realise it would be fast fast. It powers down quick, starts up quick, page to page on the net is lightening fast and downloading is a breeze. You do need a special cable to plug in to clone your existing drive data, otherwise just plugging it in doesnt work. The instructions arent that clear, but once you get it, it's done. You have to create the disk too, and assign a new letter: to the drive. Abit fiddly and no mention of that in the instructions. That formats the disk, then download the magician, then you can do the transfer Get the cloning cable, plug it in, download the Samsung magician on to the drive, and it puts your existing drive and windows on to it. Once it's done, it's ready to replace your existing drive. Done

Bought 2 of these, one for my ps4 pro and another for an older laptop and so far they run flawlessly, with a noticable increase in load speeds for both devices and much quieter operation. The laptop especially (which is an older model with a 7th gen cpu ) feels like an entirely new system, booting so much quicker I no longer have to wait a couple of minutes for it to finish like I used to with the old HDD.

This is a great improvement, over a normal hard drive. Due to the size you'll probably not need more storage. The Samsung software makes cloning of your old drive easy. Then use your old drive as a backup. Speed starting up goes from 4_5 mains to 40 seconds and in use there is a definite improvement. Also if you get rid of your old HD noise reduces and so does power use.

Bought this after being advised it would speed my laptop (with original HDD) - and boy it did that!!! Not done a HD ‘copy’ and had to buy a Sata/usb cable to connect- but the Samsung software made it relatively easy and no issue… I swear it’s faster than when it was new! Better than buying a complete new laptop and transferring data… I’d definitely recommend it!

I used this to replace a HDD in my All-in-1 HP computer, which had seriously slowed down over the last 2 years, especially with the introduction of Windows 11. Straight swap for the old one, slight modification to the mounting cage to hold it in place and away we go. This is a Samsung 1TB SSD. It is genuine Samsung, and it has 1TB (although only about 980GB are useable). As it is SATA it is not going to be as fast as an NVMe drive, but it still runs lightning fast compared to old mechanical drives. I am using this as a secondary storage drive. Samsung are a reliable brand and this drive should last some years.

I brought the SSD Hard drive to replace my sata Hard drive and it was the best choice I could have made. Bought this as an upgrade for a PC that runs a flight simulator and so far it's been spot on. There's a data migration tool you download directly from Samsung that makes a copy of your existing hard drive and it's super easy to use. The drive itself works perfectly and has slightly sped up my PC so I'd say it's worth the money.

I Purchased this SSD to store some older games and I partitioned of 250GB for video editing projects. All works well and the speeds are about as advertised. The drive was easy to mount to one of my spare bays with 4 screws and spare sata cables (not provided) and was up and running within 10 minutes.

Super easy to install, you might need to buy some wires if you dont have them laying around but the over operation and install is dead simple and it looks and works great and the memory size along with the write speed make it a needed piece of equipment for fast loading big games or files on any pc

I have been using this ssd for a few months now and it runs smooth and has fast loading speed, with the large storage space you can partition in separate drives so you can organise your data into drives rather than having hundreds of folders on the c:/ drive. Also boots up really fast aswell.

I need to tell that. My pc after is start, was taking nearly 10m for everything go. Now with this SSD, its taking less like 1m. Maybe 30sec about? And its lots of free programs for easy copy everything from old HDD to new SSD. Just check YouTube. No need to reinstal system and games!

I replaced the drive in my son's Xbox One S with this Samsung SSD, as the incumbent had crashed out and would not correctly reformat. Loaded the OS onto it and worked first time. My son tells me his Xbox now starts faster and with no lag between switching programmes. Well pleased.

I bought this, to replace the standard hard drive in my laptop, which was getting very slow to boot up. The cloning software download is easy to use, however, you do need a sata to usb cable. After installing, my laptop boots up in seconds, it's like a new machine.

After reading reviews I bought this to replace the stock 500gb HDD in my PlayStation 4, primarily to double the capacity although it also loads games faster. It was easy to install into the drive caddy and once installed can be forgotten about. Works a treat.

Don’t forget you need the official ps4 usb cable when you put a new hard drive in to use the controller. Any other usb doesn’t work, I tried 5 random usb cables before finding the ps4 one.
