This is a Samsung 1TB SSD. It is genuine Samsung, and it has 1TB (although only about 980GB are useable). As it is SATA it is not going to be as fast as an NVMe drive, but it still runs lightning fast compared to old mechanical drives. I am using this as a secondary storage drive. Samsung are a reliable brand and this drive should last some years.

Bought this as an upgrade for a PC that runs a flight simulator and so far it's been spot on. There's a data migration tool you download directly from Samsung that makes a copy of your existing hard drive and it's super easy to use. The drive itself works perfectly and has slightly sped up my PC so I'd say it's worth the money.

I have been using this ssd for a few months now and it runs smooth and has fast loading speed, with the large storage space you can partition in separate drives so you can organise your data into drives rather than having hundreds of folders on the c:/ drive. Also boots up really fast aswell.

I have needed to work out why my PC is so slow. Looked into different internal drives, always heard an SSD is quicker, but didnt realise it would be fast fast. It powers down quick, starts up quick, page to page on the net is lightening fast and downloading is a breeze. You do need a special cable to plug in to clone your existing drive data, otherwise just plugging it in doesnt work. The instructions arent that clear, but once you get it, it's done. You have to create the disk too, and assign a new letter: to the drive. Abit fiddly and no mention of that in the instructions. That formats the disk, then download the magician, then you can do the transfer Get the cloning cable, plug it in, download the Samsung magician on to the drive, and it puts your existing drive and windows on to it. Once it's done, it's ready to replace your existing drive. Done

Bought this after being advised it would speed my laptop (with original HDD) - and boy it did that!!! Not done a HD ‘copy’ and had to buy a Sata/usb cable to connect- but the Samsung software made it relatively easy and no issue… I swear it’s faster than when it was new! Better than buying a complete new laptop and transferring data… I’d definitely recommend it!

Bought 2 of these, one for my ps4 pro and another for an older laptop and so far they run flawlessly, with a noticable increase in load speeds for both devices and much quieter operation. The laptop especially (which is an older model with a 7th gen cpu ) feels like an entirely new system, booting so much quicker I no longer have to wait a couple of minutes for it to finish like I used to with the old HDD.

please dont forget to initialize and format before use will save lot of problems if using for main O/S one of the fastest SSD,s around remember control panel admin tools disc management scroll down pick new ssd out of list right click on the ssd you just put in it will say in list it brings up initialize click initialize the repeat and this time format it then you are ready to put it as main O/S and install windows etc hope it helps

I cracked open a broken 4TB seagate xbox HDD and took the adaptor off it.I put the adaptor onto this internal 1TB SSD and it works just fine with my xbox one. Load times are in my opinion on a par with my series x load times. Also I think there is more to "see" in the game as the console can load the content in quicker. I have also noticed that in multiplayer games I can sprint faster than some other players and even catch up to them and overtake them all because of this SSD.
