I should have listened to what previous reviews said. Only a couple of months in and the door catch has failed. Unable to open, unable to remove from housing, unable to read serial number. Two calls in and no luck so far. Samsung need to sort the door lock issue, it’s a tiny bit of thin plastic. As a microwave, it works but not by default, first you have to tell it to microwave. What else would you want a microwave to do?

This was a replacement of my one year old integrated Samsung Microwave which had two breakdowns and, the second one could not be fixed. Having accepted an alternative which on discussion seemed to have with more or less the same features, I stated that the broken microwave had a blue light on the clock as it matched my Samsung oven blue clock light of the same age. The product description said white LED but he assured me I would get blue. Today the joiner fitted the replacement for me as I am not phsyically able to do so and... the LED light is bright white!! Looks awful. When not plugged in, it looks nice and I have yet to use it but, given the problems with the first one I have no faith at all in this microwave. I've not been able to attach photo's showing the horrible glow in the dark lights. How did Samsung get so big in the UK with the worse customer service/advisors etc., I have ever dealt with. Numerous problems getting the 2nd fault fixed, numerous errors with warranty dates on all 4 new Samsung appliances and even now 15 months later, despite proof sent they still cannot get it right. Now will have more problems and excuses when I asked why not blue lights.

Very poor quality, lots of areas rusting including door window frame, didn’t last 2 years until needing replacement. Not good for £330 when I got a new one (different manufacturer) for £119 which is much better all round.

Microwave doesn't microwave afrer 2 years and 10 months. Out of manufacturers warranty which was 2 years, yet Samsung are now offering 3 year warranty's on microwaves. Very poory durability. I wouldn't purchase a Samsung again.

It's very difficult to review this microwave because it's a great machine, nice looking, everyone that visits our home mentions how great it looks and this microwave is easy to use and powerful. The HUGE issue is the door opening, there is a manufacturing defect/issue with the hinge on the doors (confirmed by the engineer that came out) and I've also seen other complaining about this issue online. The most annoying thing is Samsung is still selling these with that fault and pretending there's no issues. I expect better from a company like Samsung. I have given a low score due to the manufacture defect of the door and the poor customer service from Samsung to get this issue fixed. If it wasn't for the door issue and lousy customer service I would give 5 stars, but having this issue on a product that cast this much is disgraceful. Let's wait and see how the fix holds up🤞🏽

k it's my second ßmart microwave oven anð it is as bad as the first its noisy the turn table doesn't rotate properly you can not touch the top of the oven it's likely to burn you . I hàvè phoned for two hours last week and was told samsung would be in touch still waiting will phone again today

Had it 2 years broke twice now out of warranty so need to pay for repair. The door latch is cheap and broke off twice. Looks like other people have had issues too £400 for a microwave that I've had to replace 2 years later is a con.

As per the other reviews, our door doesn't open. Samsung won't repair as I didn't complete an online registration, despite it being bought less than 2yr ago. This is frustrating if it seems like a known model issue.
