Why does the menu open when I press ‘0’ or ‘CTRL’ on my Samsung notebook?

If the menu pops up every time you press 0 or Ctrl key, then the Fn lock is on. To turn the Fn Lock off press the Fn Lock button.

The alternate function of the 0 key in the number pad or the Ctrl key on some models is to open a menu. This is indicated by the blue menu icon on the key.

You can access this function normally by pressing the Fn key and the 0 or Ctrl key.

Why does the menu open when I press ‘0’ or ‘CTRL’ on my Samsung notebook? The Fn Lock button allows you to press any button with an alternate function indicated by a blue icon, without having to also press the Fn key. If any of the keys on your keyboard are causing the alternate function to occur instead of the main function press Fn Lock key to resolve this issue.
