How do I change the image or wallpaper on Always on Display?

Always on Display is a feature of later Samsung Galaxy smartphones and allows you to set the clock, or add other information on the standby screen. This is the screen that shows while your screen is otherwise off.

The exact functionality and options will depend on your model. The ability to add images to Always on Display was introduced with the Galaxy S9.

If you are looking for information on how to change the wallpaper on your Home or Lock screen, you can find that here.

Always on Display settings can be found in a slightly different place depending on the operating system of your phone

For devices running Android Nougat:

Go to Settings > Display > Always on Display > Background image >

For devices running Android Oreo:

Go to Settings > Lock Screen > OR Lock Screen and Security > Clock and FaceWidgets >
