A lot quieter than expected given other reviews! Much quieter than my old washer, despite the spin rate being higher. No idea how they handle the vibrations so well. Seems fairly efficient so far. Only niggle would be no actual full manual with it, only online - which meant i had to go online to figure out you cant open the thing until 3 minutes after it finishes! Havent gone in with mixed fabric yet, but suspect it will be fine. Easy setup into smartthings, and then onto home assistant! App seems easy to use.

Had the washing machine a couple of weeks ago. Still early days but so far so good. What I like with this model is that the washing cycles are clear and easy to understand. The delivery itself was great, they kept us informed of the delivery time and installed our new machine and took the old one away. Overall a great service.

Surely they realise the flaw in the design ? Socks get trapped between the door and the drum , so frustrating that a company like Samsung doesn't realise this , to be honest wish I would've bought another machine now

My Samsung Series 5 AI Energy is without doubt The Best washing I have ever owned… for such a small price I’m wondering why I persevered with my old washer… there was nothing wrong with my old machine but there was nothing right with it either.. 😂 it couldn’t perform like my Samsung even has remote control from my phone and uses a fraction of the energy of my old machine.. it’s a dream

Only had the machine for a week but it is lovely. Large drum/capacity. Quiet running. Great design.Option to turn off the end tunes. Downsides are: most programmes are lengthy times, apart from the 15min “refresh” option. Delivery situation was appalling, over 3 weeks before I got it. Great team from Darlington saved the day and they did an amazing job.

Its a good machine although the power button is to sensative ours is next to the sink and if washing up and you rub near it it turns it off and then you have to start your wash cycle again we tried child lock but it doesnt affect the power button so if you have a smaller kitchen this os something to consider

Our previous washer was a Samsung, and when it was time to replace it, we looked for another Samsung. This one best suited our needs, and we are finding it much quieter, and more efficient than our previous machine. Particularly like how you can customise the programs in the App.

We purchased this about a month ago and it gets used a lot as a family with two kids and a big dog. We’ve noticed a real flaw in the design where the rubber seal gets socks and smaller garments stuck in it, the space in the rubber seal is a lot larger than our previous washing machine and we haven’t experienced this with other washing machines we have had just this one. The small garments aren’t properly cleaned and haven’t been in the spin so are soaked too. The dog hair tends to clog up in there too I think because it’s getting trapped and blocked. Requires a lot of cleaning in the rubber seal area because of this. May replace machine with another as it doesn’t feel nice things are getting missed.

The washer is easy to use if you’ve had a Samsung washer before if you haven’t then it can be abit fiddly. Ol thing is to register for the 5 years warranty it doesn’t tell you how to do it and on Samsung online only gives yut 2 years warranty you have to google how to get the 5 years warranty online. I only now no how to do it as I have got stung by Samsung before with a tumble dryer

The washer did not like the two programs hygiene and bubble and caused a drainage code every time I used. I paid for a plumber to come and check the drainage and was all clear but it still did it. After a nigtmare with Currys I returned the washed after 3 days.

Manual doesn’t make it clear it is a 9kg machine. Disappointed that there is no pure spin option, only rinse and spin The Samsung website makes it non trivial for a buyer to register for the 5 year as opposed to the normal warranty. A cynic might say Samsung are making it hard for people to get the extended warranty

It took very long time to know how to operate all other buttons without phone app. The instruction booklet didn't come with the machine which is certainly weird! Don't like the rubber ring around the metal circle next to the machine-door, always leaves dirt and damp stuck within the inner rubber layer. Each time the drawer should be taken out to get dry, also to dry its inside compartment otherwise it gets mildew grown within time.

It's a heavy machine to move around and the SN should have been placed where your manual said it should be ie on the front door. It was at the back and is awkward to register for warranty

We bought this via an official 3rd Party supplier who were able to offer the extended 5 year Samsung warranty via the Samsung website. They installed it like a Formula 1 pitstop and I was putting in my first load within 20minutes of them ringing my doorbell. So far the washes have come out exactly as expected. Much quieter than our previous model and as far as washing machines go, is quite aesthetically pleasing. Not yet used all the new features these newer versions have, like hygiene steam. Look forward to trying out all the functionality and also connecting it to my Samsung phone.

Too early to tell but of the first weeks washing clothes feel fresher. Wifi an advantage in programming but having to push delay button for quite a long time to register is a bit of a pain compared to our old ISE delay button. Would be nice to know how much power it uses each wash through Smart Things app like Fridge Freezer does

I've had this for two weeks and have used a couple of times. I love how quiet it is when washing and the music once the cycle ends. This ensures I don't miss the finish time, esp when I'm tight on time. I also love the ecobubble feature!

We have upgraded to a 9 kilo machine. It is very easy to operate and very quiet. When the wash has completed the washing is spun much better than our old machine. For us this means less drying time in the tumble drier.

Had other samsung products and have been great, this appears OK. But had trouble finding the serial number, which isn't on the door but on the back, also its leaking from the door after having it for less than a week. Not what I expected from samsung.
