I have no idea who is paid to come up with gimmicks, such as three shelves, but they are not paid to be practical. The average dinner plate is 10.5", 26.7cm and when stacked in the bottom, the washing arm does not turn. This means that the middle rack needs to be raised (and it only has two raising positions). When raised, you can no longer fit glassware in the middle because it then hits the top tray! This is basically an expensive two-tray dishwasher and unless you extensively wash only side plates and mugs, you'll be frustrated. As for our 2 day old dishwasher, it's going back because flinging a door open at the end isn't worth it if we cannot use it properly.

This is probably the most impracticable dishwasher I have ever owned. The cutlery tray means that I can't load medium to tall glasses in the tray underneath unless I lower the rack, which means I can't load a normal sized dinner plate on the bottom rack. We now either put in glasses at a really shallow angle that doesn't wash well and uses up the space of at least 2 glasses or I hand wash. We need to put this dishwasher on more often due to the fact you can't have both tall glasses and dinner plates stored easily. If I could find a cutlery basket and remove the cutlery rack I think it would be a good dishwasher. However after an hour on a call to the helpline, we still didn't establish if I could find one that would fit my dishwasher. Reluctant to purchase and find it won't work. Very poor design and an expensive mistake. Wish I had read the reviews on here first.

We have designed your Series 11 Built in Full Size Dishwasher to be versatile enough to be set up in a way that accommodates any wash load, with 14 place settings available, but we can understand your frustration if this has not been your experience. Broke after light use just 3 months in. Samsung have been very slow to come out and assess it. Took hours of calls to get an engineer out and was repeatedly told I'd be charged if my fault (!). Turns out, pump had gone and it was entirely mechanical. Then told we would have to wait a week for parts. Then found they do not have parts and so want me to get back to them about a refund or replacement. No calls, just texts. So both really poor item and dreadful customer service.

Having looked at all of the great features this model claimed it seemed like the perfect choice to replace my 11-year old built in dishwasher that was about to die. Unfortunately the first one that arrived just did not clean properly and so it was replaced by the retailer with permission from Samsung, and I had hoped that I had just received a dude. Unfortunately there are still too many things to dislike about this model to recommend it: 1. No mention that you need to run an empty cleaning cycle every 20 washes, and if you forget on wash 21 your plates will be literally covered in grit and you have to hand wash the entire load. 2. The middle basket does move up but the height left for the lower basket is not enough for our dinner plates or chopping boards. To make them work the Ikea boards need to be put at the very edge and the plates have to go at a silly angle and so only a few can fit. 3. I do like the top basket that allows me to pop small items next to cutlery, but as the arm is above they need to be very small, so for example I can't put a ladle on there. Plus as the arm is above, when I add ramekins they have to go open side down and so often don't get clean. 4. I was also swayed by the B energy rating, but this is for the Eco clean only and it achieves this by not having a drying cycle and instead the door opens for 50mins to let out the steam and what you are left with are damp, water spotted plates and plastic that is totally wet even after the 50mins

The appliance is not adequately cleaning some utensils, the rack frequently dislodges, requiring readjustment, and spoons are not being thoroughly cleaned. Customer support response times are slow, and the recent engineer visit was highly unprofessional. We have experienced issues with the Mobile Fold 6, a projector, and this dishwasher. It appears that the quality of customer service in the UK has declined, particularly in addressing the concerns of loyal customers who have invested significantly in Samsung products for their entire household.ducts.

After placing my order and reading some of the reviews I was very concerned about whether I'd be able to fit my plates in! I needn't have worried as I've been able to load all my pots, plates etc in without a problem. I even measured my plates (something I've never done!). Mine are 27cm and the dishwasher will hold ones larger than that. So far I've done the 1 hour cycle and the heavy load cycle, and both clean the dishes really well. Most of my products are samsung ones and I'm very happy with their quality, and that includes this dishwasher. I love the cutlery tray at the top and that the smart things app let's me know when the cycle is completed. Very happy with the product so far.

Lovely dishwasher. Aesthetically appealing. Very quiet. However, the height between the middle shelf and top shelf is to short for normal pint glasses. Unfortunately, the height between the bottom and middle shelf is also to short to fit average size dinner plates. The spray arm immediately catches if you put more than one plate in from the outer edge.

Samsung make some great products but this one is a failure on so many counts. It stacks badly, you can't get much in it and it washes badly. In 40 years this is only our fifth dishwasher and it is the worst. If we fail to rinse everything beforehand, guaranteed cutlery and bowls will not come clean. Ordinary dinner plates no longer fit in this machine - our mistake for not checking but how ridiculous is that? Samsung have spent too much time trying to be clever with technology and not enough focus on how people actually use a dishwasher. The cutlery trays sound great until you find it takes much longer to fit everything in, and then it doesn't come clean! Rarely had that problem with a basket. Coffee mugs on the middle racks don't come clean unless pre-washed by hand. We have tried different tablets including the expensive varieties and the results are the same. The biggest mistake was not returning the machine immediately. Once you start to search around the internet, you'll see that our disappointment is repeated in many other cases. Of course, Samsung will do nothing about it.

Would love to review how this dishwasher works but cannot get it to work due to a leaking aqua stop connection. Customer Service / Technical Support are non existent. Current have Samsung fridge, washer, dryer, TV and non functional dishwasher. After experience with dishwasher, I wouldn't purchase from Samsung again.

Utter disappointment. Was initially impressed by design and features only to find out that it is a piece of junk. Rarely did it clean properly and after a couple of years the touch panel failed, shortly after warranty had expired. Probably got humid from steam exiting when the door opens. On top of that, Samsung is incapable of providing such spare parts to consumers (touchpanel etc) and makes no effort to make service manuals / circuit diagrams available. Lesson learned: Samsung never again. .

OMG what a faf! We are an all Samsung House, TV's Fridge, Washer Dryer, etc We just had a new kitchen and I wanted to replace the old inefficient Indesit Dishwasher with a new unit. So I asked the Samsung Chat person what the difference was between the as advertised on Samsung website "Built in" and "Built under", there is no "fully integrated" versions advertised. The agent was not able to understand my question even though they are terms on their own website. I had to download the "installation manual" to figure out that "Built in = fully Integrated and the BB at the end of the model number is an indication of that" So I ordered the unit and it arrived in two working days. That is where the fun realy started! The door template is exactly the same size as the dishwasher metal door, so you have to do some maths and add on a margin around the template to get it in the center of your custom door panel. This was extremely challenging to do as we are dealing with around 4mm to all sides around the template. When I finally twigged what the issue that the template was too small for the standard 60cm custom door panel, things became more clear, however the template fixing hole marks took some serious brain power for me, some were very obvious and some not so. Anyway some hours later I got to the point of installing the waste pipe, the anti syphon gismo is huge so I had to enlarge the apatue in adjacent cupboard where sink is. Note, the install manual advises the unit is not designed to have any electrical connections immediately behind the washer, there is virtually no clearance. Eventually the unit was installed and paired with smartthings, easy. I put the washer on a quick rinse to test connections and noted the blue "status lamp" shining on the floor, this lamp is just an "in use" indicator, I had to ping Samsung on that again as manual had no detail. Other than all that, my partner loves the top draw, and easy efficient draw moving levers, its very quiet and consuming a lot less energy than predecessor. It takes a bit of getting use to the oppen draw dry method, but that is where the true energy saving comes from I do think the budget is a bit high in comparison, but hey im not washing the dishes!

Easy to install and love the fact that we can control it through the app. Was slightly put off with the reviews but I can confidently say there is plenty of space for cutlery, plates, pans, etc. Even does a great job cleaning our baby bottles. Haven't even done 1 wash cycle... Error code 3C saying a pump or motor is broken (brand new not even used) disappointing, waiting a few days for a local service guy to get in touch then come out and do an assessment. Ao poor review until issues resolved. Machine looks nice if nothing else.

Sorry. I love the majority of Samsung kit, but this dishwasher is a total failure. Your standard test loading - what sizes plates were used - Barbies ? I cannot even find dinner plates of a size that will fit ! 25cm Max. There is space front to back, but the limit is on the height. So tray up. Now standard mugs and even pub type wine glasses will not fit. 500 ml Pyrex jug will not fit. OK, with a bit of push and shove, they go in, for the side bracket lever on the middle tray to dislodge and drop the middle tray on one side. Did anyone actually try this thing before it was released to the sales market or was it a this will work on paper ? Please measure your other dishwasher cutlery baskets , find and supply one that will fit this machine bottom tray and I'll upgrade this review to a 3. As it is, it just about scrapes a "maybe fit for purpose" ! You have lost all the kudos generated by 5 other excellent Samsung devices in my home. Items fitted in the bottom tray clean well. with items on the middle shelf having to lay flat (bowls etc) the cutlery often does not wash fully and the bowl bases a still full of water after drying.
