After reviewing different products on the market, I bought this item for storing all of my digital Xbox games. It holds 2TB of storage which is plenty for my needs. The newer series X games are huge and a 130GB game can take 4 hours to download from the cloud before playing. By downloading all of my games onto this little Samsung device, I can instantly play the backwards compatible (Xbox one and 360) games directly and play series X games by moving them back onto my console which takes minutes thanks to the latest NVMe technology which makes it super-fast. It's hard-wearing and lightweight and sits unimposing behind my Xbox and I'm very happy with the purchase.

This is a fast SSD drive with a great storage capacity - I chose the 2TB version. I dropped a star because there's a design flaw in the USB-C lead. One of the connecting points at one end is shorter than at the other. As a result, the short end won't fit in the unit, and it's wobbly when used the other way and connected to your device. It doesn't click in like USB-C leads should do. A slight knock will dislodge and disconnect it - catastrophic if halfway through a data transfer.

Say goodbye to discs and hello to flash. The speed in which this transfers even say a 5gb file at is amazing. Particularly if your transferring between SSD. Even from an older HDD it still immensely reduces waiting time. It comes supplied two USB cables, one being the traditional USB 3.0 and the other being the newer USB C to C. If you have a USB C in your computer/laptop or other device which you're using to transfer, you again see an improvement in transfer speeds. This also works well in my Samsung Tevelvion via USB just incase you are wondering if the T.V will support a 2TB SSD, it does!

I bought this SSD a few weeks ago for recording videos from my Panasonic Lumix S5iix camera, so far it has it fared well. This SSD is not sufficient for editing 6k footage directly - your video editing software will begin to stutter with multiple streams (assuming that your computer system is not the bottleneck). You will not get the 1050MB/s transfer speeds on a Mac, I reached a max 900MB/s sustained write speed. The rubber coating is a dust magnet. There are smaller and lighter SSDs at similar price points from competitors like SanDisk.

This is the third of these that I have bought, so you can assume that I find them easy to use and generally acceptable. The only slightly irksome element is that I find for some reason (in all three cases) the USBC to USBC cable provided does not function on my particular laptop. In each case I have found that cables from other manufacturers work fine and so I suppose it must be some kind of compatability issue between Samsung and my lap top.

Bought to store photos on primarily. Using it with an iMac so had to use google to explain the formatting process. The software recommended with it seems to interfere with its smooth use. Initially had problems with it suddenly disconnecting - extremely annoying when it disconnects 80% into a large file transfer. Decided to use the thunderbolt connections and problems seem to have been resolved.
