Question: Where do I find the transferred content on my Samsung device?
Answer: You can find your content in the native applications on your Samsung device. For example, contacts can be found in the Contacts app, music through the Music Player, notes through the S Memo™ app and so on.
Question: Will WhatsApp messages be backed up?
Answer: WhatsApp content can be backed up from within the application itself. You should make sure that you have created a recent back-up before exchanging your Galaxy Note7 device. From within WhatsApp go to Settings > Chats > Chat backup. You can then manually back up your messages to your Google Drive account.
Question: How long does a back-up take?
Answer: The amount of time a back-up will take varies based on how much content you are saving. If you are using the SD card method, then the process could only take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour, however backing up to the Samsung Cloud could take a considerable amount of time depending on network connection speeds. Also, be aware that transferring a large amount of data on a mobile network or even over WiFi could incur data charges.
