Please be aware that the smart convertible zone is where you can turn the whole freezer into a fridge. This is not smart. You cannot select one drawer of the freezer to make it into a fridge - you have to select the whole freezer. Therefore if you have a party and need more fridge space, you are effectively left without a freezer. Not smart at all. Also it is not clearly advertised that this is the case. It says convertible zone and not clear that there is nowhere in the fridge to convert to freezer or that you have to use the whole freezer as a fridge to convert. Very misleading, I'm glad I bought this at less than half price as even then not worth it. UPDATE: Following this, I spoke to the Samsung technical team again and all 3 people I spoke to could not find how to use the Cool Select+ in the manual and advised they can only look at the user manual so cannot help me with how to use this function and also cannot verify how it works. For the user manual not to have the correct information and the technical team not to have product training is horrendous. The lady was also rude in technical team and said I need to discuss it with the sales team. I am now waiting for the sales team who are looking into how to use this function which is advertised but Samsung themselves dont even know or provide the information required. I am upset by this.

I am in love with this- I got this with promotional discount and the ‘black’ colour was significantly less so we took a risk worrying it would be v dark compared to exact same model in silver. I am so glad we did it is a really nice colour. It isn’t black and more dark grey. There is so much storage space compared to our older fridge/freezer. It is so quiet too. We have not had this for a long period of time so cannot comment on durability but if you’re hesitant about the colour don’t - it is lovely and crazy it was about £300 less than the others and the advisor told me that was the only difference! I used BL discount and got 15% off too was greta value and I could not find a comparable price or spec at other retailers.

The fridge in my new house was not working. I had to find a replacement in a short time and discovered this model. Previously used Japanese brand (really good ones) but not available in the UK. So, aimed for a Korean brand and no frost. The Samsung fridge is just like the Japanese branded models: quiet, no frost, abundant capacity, good internal layout. The only drawback as compared to Japanese branded model is the freezer drawer. Have to open the door first then draw the drawers.

I've nicknamed it The Monolith. lol. It's 2 mtrs high and in graphite so it seemed fitting. All the space is needed in our case, as we do like to cook and store food. The wifi smart feature can be switched off thankfully for us none techies. The top light is bright enough to cover the space. Very happy so far.

Very spacious and well designed product. Smart things is a huge bonus. Would throughly recommend this fridge freezer. The 5 year warranty on parts and labour and 20 year warranty on compressor was a deciding factor as well as being A rated
