Just traded in our 21yr old whirlpool American side by side fridge freezer for this Samsung bespoke French one and even after only having this connected the size of fridge space is unreal! The freezer section is well big enough and love the two different sizes of ice cubes as they suit everyone. The water is really nice and cold for drinking and the fact the pitcher is inside the fridge makes a huge difference compared to a water dispenser. The lighting is lovely and bright , the doors are smooth to open and shut and the light into freezer is really nice and bright too. So far I’m loving and my new purchase and already looking at Samsung TVs as our LG is getting old and acting up. I’d highly recommend a Samsung French style fridge freezer especially this model if you want space , cold water , lots of ice and a beautiful appliance to add to your kitchen.

The fridge itself may be fine, but my overall experience with Samsung has been extremely poor. During delivery and removal of my old Samsung fridge freezer, Samsung’s appointed delivery contractor caused damage to my brand-new engineered wood flooring. This damage was identified and reported immediately to both Samsung and their delivery partner, AIT. Two months later, the issue remains unresolved. I have repeatedly been asked for the same information I already provided, faced continual delays, and seen no acceptance of responsibility. Samsung continues to defer to its delivery partner rather than taking ownership of the problem. I paid Samsung directly for both delivery and removal. Under the Consumer Rights Act, Samsung is responsible for the actions and negligence of contractors it appoints. Despite this, Samsung’s “investigation” remains ongoing with no resolution, repair, or compensation offered. This experience has significantly undermined my trust in Samsung as a company. I would strongly caution others that if something goes wrong during delivery, you may face months of delay and resistance rather than accountability. I am willing to update this review fairly once Samsung accepts responsibility and resolves the damage properly.

We bought samsung french door fridge freezer a few months ago, since day one we had a problem with it ,fridge has a manufacture fault, there was some fixing missing , we contact samsung straight away, it took them couple months to book engeener , after egeener visit we find out that work he has done was very ,very unprofesional , wrong type of fixing was fitted ,also we found some scratches on metal brackets expose bare metal , now we have even bigger issues with the fridge then before repair , and we still cannot using it propely, avoid samsung!!

Everything about this fridge/freezer is refreshing! The layout of the fridge is perfect. Opening the fridge doors is akin to a theatrical performance when the stage is revealed. The freezer can hold an incredible volume of food, with the ice making mechanism one of the cleverest features we have seen on any fridge/freezer. Considering the quality and practicality of this appliance, including little extras such as a fabulous water pitcher with a water filter, it is excellent value for money. And the space! We emptied our fully stocked old American fridge freezer of the same overall size into the new one and it has only used about two thirds of the available space. If you are thinking of buying a new fridge freezer, this is the one to go for.

I always wanted a French style fridge where the fridge is at the top with 2 doors opening outwards and freezer drawer at the bottom. There is so much storage for the whole family. The automatically filled water jug is also a nice touch. The only slight negative is the drawers don't seem as sturdy as my previous fridge and feels plasticky, but time will tell if they last.
I recommended this product.
