Terrible build quality - don't waste your time with this vaccuum. Started out well, then the brush head breaks after only 5 months. Not covered under a warranty and Samsung want you to buy a new one. There's a reason Samsung aren't known for their vacuums, stick to the trusted brands and save yourself some money doing so.

The vacuum is powerful and easy to manoeuvre and the auto empty function is great for locking away dirt and dust. The AI feature does change the spin speed and suction power when moving from one surface to the next and the adjusted time left on the battery indicator is a nice touch. The unit seems sturdy and the attachment cradle keeps everything nice and tidy. I got it at a big discount and it was similar in price to other manufacturers so good value for me.

We was looking for a decent cordless vacuum that we could use on a daily basis, keep a decent charge and one that would empty automatically with no messy dust clouds around the bin - and the AI Jet Ultra excels at them all! We mainly use the multi-surface head as we have a mixture of carpet and hard floors and having previously used our old vacuum, the Jet Ultra had a full bin after cleaning 1 room. We was amazed at what it was picking up and also a little disgusted that our old vacuum was doing such a poor job! The suction when using the tools is the best we have experienced and we have mainly stuck with a well known bag-less brand before but this has opened our eyes. The main multi-surface head has a strip of led lights that we find very useful, especially on hard floors and under the couch. The AI features could do with a bit of tweaking - we do find that when running it in 'AI' mode it can lag when switching between the different surfaces. So we normally tend to put it on 'Medium' mode. We hardly need to use the 'Jet' mode as we find the standard 'Med' mode perfect for daily use. This mode is also relatively quiet for the power which we could not believe. It also connects up to 'SmartThings' and you can view your usage. One useful feature that you can select is if you also own a Galaxy phone and receive a call/message, the Jet will stop and display it on it's screen! Quite handy. One thing to note - we have not needed to use the extra battery as of yet, however having it is a massive plus compared to other brands who demand more money for spare ones. The major bonus for us is the auto emptying feature of the charging base. Having to simply place the Jet onto the base and it automatically sucks empty the bin and runs a diagnosis each time is simply amazing. No messy dust clouds and no prodding at the fluff balls in the bin. The base is not bag-less and requires bags which do come with the Jet with 1 preinstalled. This was one factor that actually sealed the deal for us because it is so much easier to empty a full bag than having to empty a large container which could still lead to the dreaded dust clouds. Yes you need to purchase bags, however they are very good value and keeps everything clean and tidy around the base! All in all, if you are thinking about getting one of these they are definitely worth it!

We bought it before Christmas when my wife complained that our conventional vacuum cleaner is now too heavy for her. I have only just started to use it because Christmas has been a busy time for us and we were daunted by its complexity and the apparent need to connect it to the internet to make it work. When satisfied that I have mastered it fully, I shall teach my wife to use it. I give it top marks for everything except for the instructions - an important aspect that is missing from your list of attributes for rating. The way it adapts suction flow and brush speed to the various floor surfaces is wonderful. And the use of a second vacuum device to empty the bin and compact and enclose the contents is a good step forward. So, instructions: It would be nice to have everything covered in one document. - The paper 'Vacuum cleaner' document gives a QR link to the online manual; the rest is safety information: a lot of 'Do not' but nothing about how to use the machine. - The paper 'USER GUIDE' goes straight into the advanced (AI and clean station) functions, but has no basic user information. - I downloaded the 56-page 'User manual' with yet more 'safety information' until page 13, where the useful stuff begins. I was hopeful when I reached page 24: Operation, but that section lasts only two pages, only one of which is relevant to my purchase. On page 26 it goes on to Maintenance which is a good section. The cleaning heads ('tools' or 'accessories') are really important parts of a cleaner, and there isn't enough basic information about them under 'Operation'. The uses of the pet tool, combination tool, flexible tool and crevice tool are pretty self evident. But I can't find any information to distinguish between the 'Active Dual Brush' and the 'Slim LED Brush+'. What are the significant differences between them please, and where should each be used? I would expect to find this information under 'Operation', if not earlier in the manual. Have I missed something? Instead I have had to experiment and explore. I was pleased by the way the active dual brush behaved so gently over our braided rug in AI mode. Please make use of this feedback. I trust that it will be anonymised (using the Nickname at most) if published and that my email will not be published. You are welcome to contact me using my email address.
