Got this as a. Replacement to old one not Samsung that only 5 years and was written of as non repairable we should of gone for Samsung in first place this feels much more better and the water is colder just missing a wine rack and hopefully it will get a matter thread update for Apple HomeKit integration

Was very quick to cool to desired temperature in both fridge and freezer once turned on. Ample space and handy features suck and dispenser lock and internal control panel. Whole unit is on wheels which I hadn’t realized making is very easy to move into position before leveling. No complaints!

The fridge freezer is good but I have a few minor concerns that should be addressed for future fridge /freezers. This is the fourth American Fridge Freezer with Ice dispenser I have used and the ice dispenser is painfully slow for only a few cubes of ice or whilst crushing ice - you stand around for 20-30seconds whereas previous fridge freezers the ice dispense has been instantaneous. All others act very quickly but this ones it takes ages for the ice to come out and also struggles when the ice dispenser is low but i know there are like 5-6 cubes of ice still. Also the second issue I have is that the pull out baskets hit the door unless it is fully open 180 degrees which most people rarely do as you hold the door when you open it. As you can see by the photos I have only had for 1 week and its causing scratch marks on the plastic wrap that we now won't bother to take off as it would then scratch the metal door underneath I will be putting some plastic bumpers on these areas instead. Apart from these two issues all else is perfect.

Internal layout is not as good as our old Samsung RSG5DUMH American fridge freezer that failed after about 15 years. Although on paper it has slightly greater internal capacity than our old fridge, there is one less fridge drawer and it doesn't seem to accommodate the same amount of food, bottles and jars. It is not possible to change the shelf positions so you are stuck will the shelf spacings that Samsung deem to be correct for all users. The lighting is not very bright compared to the old fridge and items at the back are not so easy to see. It is also rather ugly and we miss the door handles. On the plus side, it is quieter, uses less electricity and hopefully the inverter will be more reliable.

Nice large side by side fridge freezer slightly larger than our old one which has finally failed. Very quiet in operation and easily installed. Make sure it will fit through your door as quite large. Ice and water dispenser is great. Download the Samsung app and connect to Wifi. The compartments inside are quiet large and slide easily the Wi-Fi on the fridge freezer will also tell you if everything is ok. and can check that everything is working fine. Draw bins are good as long as you can open the doors reasonable wide. Nice minimalistic front with no protruding handles and all controls are in side.

Arrived yesterday. Has made no more than 12 ice cubes in more than 24 hour period. Water is not chilled and dribbles out at a snails pace. Very dissatisfied with this product which states in has a reservoir which clearly it doesn't. Don't understand why it doesn't produce chilled water when that's what's advertised. Totally mislead and need to get this resolved. None of the trouble shooting worked.

We bought this because of its energy efficiency. It is very cold indeed which is okay but presumably not as energy efficient if it was a little less cold (5 degrees rather than the preset 3). Door is very heavy and difficult to open: impossible for somebody with a disability. Overall rather disappointing. Sadly our impression isn't helped by the fact that the water dispenser and ice maker aren't working....

Good looking product. No bottle rack supplied although the one from our previous Samsung fridge/freezer fitted ok. External filter not as good as previous internal screw in filter. Had a small drip from water dispenser for first 2 days but this seams to have stopped. All in all pretty happy with this item

Great looking appliance, not yet installed, but has all the features we wanted. Looking forward to cool water and ice on demand. Good capacity, although freezer feels narrow compared to a normal freezer. I had to remove the doors from fridge/freezer, and doors from my house to get it inside, so be mindful of your delivery route/where you plan to have this. Doors are quite thick, so you need to consider where you are positioning because they need to be opened wide to get drawers/trays out.

This is our first kitchen appliance from Samsung, but after 6 weeksI am very impressed. The fridge is keep the food fresher than before and is great when we put a lot of items in and can quick chill them. The freezer, although much small than our previous standalone one is suprising roomy. We have also got so used to the ice cubes and the chilled water on tap (bonus). The only issue we have is that the front is more difficult to keep clean verses our previous one which was painted, but with a bit of practice it doesn't show the marks too much. It has also reduced our energy bills as it uses 1/2 the power of our previous (13 year old) one. One last thing being connected to the Smart things app it is useful to control it without having to open the fridge to get to the control panel inside.

Just had this fridge freezer delivered this morning and can only say wow. Firstly, it's so pleasing on the eye and would suit lots of different style kitchens. Secondly, it's so quiet, you barely know it's working its that quiet. Finally, and most importantly the amount of space inside both the fridge and freezer is amazing. I don't know how I'm going to fill it but I'll certainly give it a good go. A wonderful applicant, so far so good.

Just installed by the guys from E&H services, very professional crew, credit to the shop. Looks well, outer dimensions smaller than the one being replaced, but internally it's bigger! The addition of led lighting is a nice touch, it's just so much more modern looking. Hopefully it'll do the business, we'll need to give it a bit of time, so I can't comment on the performance just yet.

Like for like as near as possible of an 18 year old American style Samsung fridge freezer, (which was just not reliable) but unfortunately the new one has a dripping water dispenser nozzle from day 1 of delivery! Not what we expected after all the hassle and cost of getting the old one repaired (multiple issues with water leaks, freezing up within the fridge etc).

We were worried that we got the wrong one that would require plumbing but this version comes with a 4.5 litre water tank inside which makes life easier for us . The kids love it as well. It is super cool and cold. The ice cube feature is really top knotch as well. Installation was easy and use alongside the smart things app is also very easy to use and understand

I wanted a large Fridge Freezer for years, evntually picked this Samsung model after weeks of checking different models. Didnt want a plumbed in one due to pipework issues, so this has a great 4.5 ltre tank which doesnt waste much room. Kids love having cubes and water from dispenser instead of bottled water which is great and saves money straight away.

As a family of 5 we needed a big fridge freezer. Plenty of room for litres and litres of milk plus alot more. Very happy they removed the ice bucket from the top shelf and replaced on the door which free'd up an extra shelf in freezer for us. Delighted with the upgrade.

I can’t say enough good things about my new Samsung refrigerator! It has completely transformed the way I organize and store food. The design is stunning and fits perfectly in my kitchen, but it’s the features that truly stand out. The built-in water dispenser and ice maker are absolutely fantastic. The water is always crisp and fresh, and the ice maker works like a charm, producing plenty of ice quickly. With New Year’s Eve just around the corner, I know these features will be a hit during our party—no more running out of ice or needing to buy bags of it! The fridge itself is super spacious, with adjustable shelves and drawers that make it easy to fit everything, even after a big grocery trip. I also love how consistently it maintains the perfect temperature, keeping everything fresh for longer. On top of that, it’s surprisingly quiet, which is a big plus. Samsung has really thought of everything with this model. From its modern look to its smart and practical features, it’s been a fantastic upgrade. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish fridge that’s also perfect for hosting!

The fridge/freezer is a good size. Adjusting the fridge and freezer temperature was difficult. I had to download the app and register B4 I could adjust the temp.

This Samsung appliance replaced an existing American style Fridge Freezer. Despite Samsung being a reputable brand; the choice was made partly on whether it would fit into the existing kitchen space. Do not get me wrong, it is a good size, its appearance is nice and hopefully it does not cost too much to run! But why spoil the appearance by sticking an information label on the side near the front; if it has to be on the side at all move it towards the back corner OR on the rear of the appliance. You only need this serial no. information once and you can take a picture. Installing this was going to be a tight fit through doorways but I definitely wanted to avoid removing appliance doors; I think the User Manual over simplifies that task. Instead, I opted to remove one internal room door and with the fridge and freezer doors open we manoeuvred it through to the kitchen. If there is one obvious criticism; I feel the user manual could do with quite a few improvements because in some cases what it says is quite unrealistic (and/or possibly misleading). Some of these may well be due to translation errors. EXAMPLE-1 It is not clear from the manual if you are telling people to not use an extension cord; if so, why? If the extension is short, of good quality, correctly grounded it will not result in any significant voltage drop. If you don’t want people to use an extension cord, then you should provide a longer power cord in the first instance. The power cord on the Samsung is barely 1.5m, it really should be 2.5-3.0m. It is a relatively thin cable (6A?) so the extra cost of 1.5m of cable is negligible! Our old appliance had a 2.5m cord so it could easily be pulled out from its location without unplugging and allow good access behind to turn off the water supply while changing the filter. EXAMPLE-2 Another example relates to connecting the water line. There were 3 different pieces of documentation; the user manual, the filter instruction leaflet and the piece of card that came with the water supply pipe. NOT one of these had all of the relevant information in one place. As regards then performance, having had it running for a few days, the temperature of the fridge is set to the guidelines but seems much colder than that displayed. I have tried one thermometer but will try and find another to check it.
