3 Layered Filter System

Reduce dust on clothes and maintain the dryer in optimal condition with a 3 Layered Filter System. It captures the dust and fibers that come off drying clothes very effectively, twice with a 2-in-1 filter under the drum and a third time with a micro soft filter* in front of the Heat Exchanger.

Do not buy. The machine (DV16T8520BV/EU, Hybrid Heat Pump Tumble Dryer, 16kg) was fine for the first year, then the condensing process failed - the machine was getting hot, but when the cycle ended the machine was full of steam and fluff and the clothes were still damp - very little water had condensed into the outlet. We called Samsung Service, a company called Blizzard Refrigeration, and they sent out their service subcontractor. They came four times (3 different engineers) and still couldn't sort the problem, despite replacing the whole pump mechanism and spending several hours trying to fix it. Worse, they actually said the machine was performing normally (their computer checks said it was fine, but they didn't have time to wait for a full cycle - immediately they left we ran a load and the same problem existed). After the fourth visit, Samsung refused to honour their own warranty. This is probably illegal and is certainly terrible service. The clothes are still damp. It cost over £1,500 and doesn't do its job, and yet the manufacturer has said it's doing what it's supposed to do. We either have a lemon, or this machine is badly designed - what is the point of a dryer that doesn't dry clothes? Either way, terrible customer service.

Great machine when it works...however it has now broken twice within the 2 year warrantee and Samsung are refusing to repair it which after spending £1600 is not great. Would recommend avoiding at all costs.

We have 3 little children, the machine is working non-stop 7 days a week. Since January this year (2023) as wrote the dryer is on heawy duty, no complain at all. This huge capacity is absolute winner among the others on the market.
I recommended this product.
