The sound produced is not good quality. No matter what setting it is on, it sounds like it is coming through a single speaker in mono mode and when the sounds are louder, it feels like you're listening through a tunnel. I was never expecting cinematic levels due to the price point, but I expected a step up from my TV speakers, which this does not offer. I enquired about returning the item and Samsung informed me it would cost £50 to do so...which was almost half what it cost! I then enquired about having the price difference refunded under their price promise, as the soundbar decreased in price a day after I purchased it. I was informed this was not possible as I had purchased this from their network site, which is for key workers. I have been punished for using their discount section. Rubbish! I shall not be buying from Samsung again.

Easy enough to connect up, and it just sits there working. Haven't had to mess with it at all. What I don't like however is that it wont sit in FRONT of my QN1EF tv set. Samsung should have put slots in the bottom of the sound bar to enable it to sit OVER the legs of my TV that stick out in front. It currently has to sit behind the TV. Bit annoying that.

VFM soundbar. Simple set up. Used a pre owned optical cable to establish link with TV. Sound output is of reasonable quality and is much improved compared with that achieved from the inbuilt Samsung TV speakers. As per usual we have set the bass output at midpoint level and find that perfectly acceptable. We like the non intrusive compact design

At the grand old age of 72 I was talked into getting a soundbar. Chose this one as my TV is a Samsung, the soundbar dimensions suited, and the price was reasonable. It was doddle to set up (my Samsung TV did the magic for me) and I now wish I'd purchased years ago! I can actually hear the TV clearly without having the volume blasting out.

Really good at filling our small living room with sound. As one who wears hearing aids, the difference is very clear between normal TV and sound bar. Watching films on TV is now a joy and not a strain to hear it. (Just remember that you'll need to buy a lead from TV to sound bar if your TV is old and doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity).

We bought this to replace a previous Samsung soundbar which had developed a fault. It is a great improvement on the TV built-in speakers. We were confused by the volume switch which looks like a push-button but us actually a ticket - thus isn’t explained clearly in the instructions. Otherwise we are very pleased with it.

The sound is good but it is slightly out if sync with the visual. Saw this problem mentioned in one of the reviews before i purchased. Using a hdmi cable. Not a problem that is listed in the troubleshooting guide. I will continue to use but a bit disappointing. Maybe someone has advice.

Excellent system and very easy to set up. Great sound quality and has helped me to hear the TV better in years. One thing to note is that if you are using it through a Humax type system then make sure the volume is up to half way on that system.

Easy to connect I used a hi speed cable,easy set up nice sound certainly better than the standard tv sound.would’ve liked some way of seeing what level I was setting the treble and bass to but all in all happy for the price.

Picked it up on Friday and am having problems with the remote, not accessing functions other than on/ off and , volume and mute. Haven’t been able to get the tone menu up. Will try again before returning it.

Easy set up and works well with quality sound enhancement. The lip sync is a little annoying to adjust and I think as it's finished in material is might a dust attracter
