I bought this TV as an upgrade from my 65" Samsung 4K TV that was 7 years old. I have had this new version for 5 days & here are my thoughts on it. Straight away, the Home Page looks very different. It is nicely set out & very easy to use. A lot of platforms that I use, such as Netflix, Disney+, etc., were already installed with their icons showing on the Home Page ( though this may have been done by the person who installed my TV ). If you want to remove any, go to the Edit List icon at the end of the row. There are a multitude of options for finding what you want to watch, with Continue Watching very near the top. If you are used to a Smart TV, you will soon get the hang of it. Picture quality is excellent, as to be expected. I'm not going to go into great detail about the settings. There are expert sites on the net for that ( although do ignore the ones I saw that said to have the brightness set at zero, that's ridiculous). Also, settings are subjective. Sound quality is very good. I have a soundbar but haven't been able to connect it yet as I need a longer HDMI cable, so I can't comment on any improvements it may make. If you connect a soundbar, there is something called Q Symphony sound that you can use. I think it entails listening to the TV with the sound coming from both the TV's speakers & the soundbar. The ports for your various cables are at the back on the right-hand side of the TV as you are looking at it from the front. There are 3 for HDMI, 2 for USB & 1 for Ethernet. WiFi & Bluetooth are also supported. There are 2 remotes. One large one with lots of buttons that will rarely be used by me. This one requires batteries. The other remote is smaller with hardly any buttons & will be used a lot by me. It is solar-powered, so no extra batteries are required. There is a solar panel on the back. You leave it face down & it will charge from the light in your room. It can also be charged via a USB cable. This is not supplied, though. If you have a Samsung phone, you can use its cable. If you open Settings on your TV, go to General & Privacy, scroll down to Remote Control & click, you can see what battery percentage you have left. The remote has dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube & Samsung TV Plus. The TV comes with two Voice Assistants built in, Alexa & Bixby. As I already have an Alexa in my living room very close to the TV, I opted to use Bixby to avoid confusion. You can choose a male or female voice. I've used Bixby a few times & it seems pretty good. When your TV is off ( not at the mains but in standby mode ), you can ask Bixby ( or Alexa ) to turn your TV on. It will open your platforms for you, change channels & volume & other settings, as well as answer your questions. As mentioned in my subject header, this is so much more than a TV. Other features include a gaming hub, an art hub, & another hub called Daily+, which is Samsung's own Smart Things hub. If you have a Smart home already, you are going to want to dive into the Daily+ hub. There really is too much content for me to tell you everything here. Anyway, it will be more fun for you to look for yourself. I'm not a gamer, so the gaming hub is not for me. If you are a gamer, though, this is a nice touch. What I do know about it is that there are payments/subscriptions needed to play. However, you don't need a console to play the games available; all you need is a Bluetooth controller. The art hub is also a nice touch, but to get the best out of it requires a subscription. I did find a couple of free things to do. Scroll down to Generative Wallpaper & you can create your own pictures with the aid of AI. I think you can create 10 pictures per day. Scroll down from this a bit further to Complimentary, where you will find some nice animated wallpapers in Cinemagraph. You can also upload your own photos from your phone. Again, there is a lot to look at on this hub, so check it out. Lastly ( Thanks if you've read this far ), the TV comes with 2 support stands that clip on. They can be placed near each other centrally, or further apart at each end of the TV. The latter choice would be best if you want to place a sound bar right under the TV. Of course, you can also wall mount the TV. Something I did find hidden away that you may want to take notice of is the amount of storage space you have on your TV ( as in GB & MB storage ). Go to All Settings> Support> Device Care> Manage Storage. You will see in the top right-hand corner the details. My details after only 5 days are 3.09 GB used & 752.05 MB ( 19% ) available. On this page, you will see a number of platform tiles. If you select one ( a blue tick appears ), you then have the option to delete it. Okay, so that's my review. Sorry it was long, but that's the kind of review I like to see, rather than one that says " It's great ". I hope you found it useful. For me, this has been a great upgrade & I'm very happy with my purchase.

I've had loads of Samsung TVs and they have all been great. This TV has excellent technology but the worse "smart hub" the user interface when you start the TV has "popular searches" and "new and trending" TV shows from apps that I don't even have access too. It all just seems like one big advert. I just want to turn the TV on and see what apps I have downloaded. Home screen is just full of rubbish which the kids just love to click on.

This replaced an older model which was no longer receiving a range of free sat signals. Do not have a smartphone so setup was excruciating and difficult.This model receives even less than 50%. There is a FreeSat logo prominently displayed on the advertising and the box. I challenge Samsung to find an older person who can set this model up without a smart phoned and without extreme difficulty.According to trading standards a product should preform as described 50% of FreeSat is not FreeSat.

Since receiving my new tv I am unable to access iplayer itvx etc and cannot register my 5 year warranty. This is because of the 2 step verification. You are sending the code to a phone I no longer have, and I cannot remember the number, so cannot change the number in my account to my current phone because again I need 2 step verification . Could you help please.
