Bought this as a main living room TV and it has been underwhelming. Out of the box the picture is flat and washed out — the only setting that makes it look genuinely sharp is "Football mode", which isn't really usable for everyday viewing. The built-in AI assistant is painfully slow to respond, often taking several seconds before it registers a command. Casting from my PC is the worst part: the image lags badly enough that it's unusable for anything beyond static content. If returning it were still an option, I would.

It’s ok disappointing iPlayer not one of the apps and struggling to find how to lower the sound on start up it’s far too loud. A few sound issues to be fair but apparently that is a known issue ( but not in the write up) something to do with streaming devices such as apple and fire stick. It’s was not cheap but not the most expensive either. Picture great and responsive controls

Why were we not informed that there is no BBC iPlayer. It seems bad to me and dishonest. At least we should know when you are going to supply it. OR inform people before they buy, I’m very disappointed that you adopted this practice. WE have been told it will come in two months. Is that true or false?

Very disappointed. Not licensed to get BBCtv, initial tuning very very very difficult, no Instructions available except on broadband. Took about 5 hours to get it working reasonably. Wish I’d kept my old one

However, your TV does have the individual UK broadcaster apps installed, and you can also connect a Freely streaming box. Bought this tv after some good reviews and I’m quite impressed. Maybe I should’ve paid more attention to the fact that I had to have an account which I didn’t in order to set it up!! My last tv gave up the ghost and needed a new one. Got it up and running and the picture is crystal clear and sounds amazing! Just a little disappointed that it doesn’t have BBC IPlayer! I’ve googled it but can’t seem to install it on the apps!

Bought this TV and set it up only to discover that despite it clearly stating that it is compatible with iplayer, it is not. Due to some issue with the BBC, this model DOES NOT have an app for iplayer. Returned to store. Argos have no doubt copy and pasted the compatibility from other Samsung models as it STILL says it will pick up iplayer.. DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL IF YOU WANT TO USE iplayer....Almost unbelievable in 2026.
