Find it in Lost Mode

I had one on dog's collar which I lost. On searching with the app it turned up 20 miles away at the recycling centre! Obviously I'd binned it accidentally. Bought another and it regularly tells me where my terrier is in our fields. Also if I call her and she ignores me then I can ring it and it breaks her rabbit concentration and she cones back. He also went in a stream with it and it's still working. I don't know about battery life yet. The karabiner is a bit big so I'm getting a smaller one.

I love my tags. I have them in my wallet which I leave around the house or in the car all to often and in my cases which I can then see where they are in the airport whilst I'm waiting for pickup. I recently had them at the other side of Atlanta airport and could also see the old buds at home in the UK so the range is global. The smartthings app works great with them and you can share that location for super easy tracking. I have found the battery life to be ok, but I do eject the suitcase batteries when not travelling.

Wish I had looked at personal reviews rather than just review sites. One of my smart tags of 4 is unusable. 5 days in and battery is low. Another couple of hours and it's very low. Who knows if the others will follow suit. . Unusable.

Good if you have lost tag within your immediate area. Bad if lost some miles away, as the tag will not show up on the map. So if you lost your keys put shopping, you get home, you can't track where you left your keys, unless it was on your doorstep.

I bought these to track keys around house but then also used to track kids while skiing. Helped to track them when doing ski school pick up. When outdoors it would track over 100m. In ski resort it provided almost real time feedback on location. Often meaning I could squeeze in another run. Works great in the house too when looking for the keys. Worked great in luggage when flying too. About to buy 4 more to save connecting and disconnecting from keys.

Only kind of useful for finding something within a few metres of where you are stood. If you intend to use this for location tracking of anything further than that then it's absolutely useless as it relies on Samsung's 'Find' network which is disabled on every Samsung phone by default. To allow for other devices to locate you smart tag so you have any idea of where it is requires other Samsung users to turn this feature on, which they will have no idea about, unless they have also purchased a smart tag and are as disappointed as I am with it. Good in theory, and maybe if you live or intend to lose your items in densely populated city centres, but otherwise it'll only be useful to play a tune on the tag if you've lost something in the same room you're currently in.

When I got a new mountain bike I bought the tag and its bike holder as a sort of insurance case it got stolen. Any who its been a year since then and I went to the gym as I usually do and got distracted and forgot to lock my bike. During my time in the gym some low life stole it. Waited some time and got a location for it, we went their to have a look and said low life and a friend rode past on bikes one of which was mine. Now here is my only grip with the tag, we tracked them for a bit following them, but at some point my phone (s22 ultra) started to track its own Bluetooth/UWB instead of the tag (Hopefully Samsung fix this). We gave in that night. Next mooring it pinged again, reported to the police and the next hour got a call back, it had been recovered. I have to say that although the tracking wasn't amazing, especially with the aforementioned issue I am extremely happy as I would have never seen that bike again had it not been for that tag.

One stated no battery within a couple of weeks. Others then started making random noises without any input. Most embarrassing during the theatre. Samsung are refusing to refund, repair or replace. I spent an hour on chat online. 10 emails and 1hr21 on the phone. And we have got nowhere. They seem to suggest the warranty lasts just 14 days?????

Useless. Inaccurate to within 100m bought it for our son and watched him go over 100m away out of sight and the location app showed him still at home with us. The recall function works although takes several minutes to activate. Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Don't waste your money! Will work great for the first bit before completely disappearing off your devices list and you cannot reregister them because they are already registered to you. So therefore, they cannot be used again. Waste of $70 CAD. Samsung Support was useless in trying to resolve the issue.. Infact, they left me ON-READ for 15 minutes without responding to my issue.

Useless, barely connects let alone tracks. Mainly bought to see if they could keep track of my dog on walks, & kids while they walk to school, but unfortunately it just doesn't hold a candle to Apple's airtags & realtime tracking technology, so I'll be going back to Apple.

Randomly just gave up. Button just makes a beep when pushed but cannot be found and does not do anything in app except "loading". I have it connected to medical gear I need to stay alive. Thanks Samsung. Glad I trusted you 🙄

tried through the play store to find an app for the smart tag 2, kept getting some app that asks lots of personal questions. So i binned it . Garbage spyware !

I bought this to locate my car in a non local car park. It will give you a hint as to where you have parked. Also, it will give you a history of your last journey. And if it has been stolen, the whereabouts to where it is now. The location is not 100% accurate as it uses other galaxy phones to send an approximate location.

Upgeade to my last Samsung Smart Tag. Nice and light. Had it suitcase to track luggage, did the job! When not using it for luggage, will keep in the car. Easy to connect to samsung phone. Would recommend. When it comes to replacing the battery, buying good quality ones is a must.

I bought this a few weeks ago to put on my sons rucksack for when he goes backpacking. Its working really well, so when I don't hear from him I can just have a quick look to see where in the world he is. Easy to link with smart things on my Samsung phone.

Advertising shows people looking for tag in city..mine failed to work in garden..you need uwb with is only available in top of the range phones. Ultra Width Bluetooth..if i get such a phone i will update review.. but as of now tag rendered useless to me

Not bad for the price,( though it was nearly double the price of apple tag.) Seems to give approximate location, within 10 metres or so. And can take a while to refresh. But overall does let you know where it is.

I got this for my dad who has dementia. It works well and can't fault it. You just have to rely on samsung users being with in 120m of the tracker, so can't complain it does what it should.
