I have had this fridge just over two years and unfortunately I did not buy the extended warranty! Huge mistake, anyone thinking to purchase this fridge, please buy the extended warranty! I have had to call technicians out multiple times in the two years and again now the fan or condenser is spinning out of control. I have to switch the fridge off at night because it is that loud. I now need to pay for a technician to come out to take a look at what is happening with the fan! It looks great, I love the iPad feature but its internal build isn’t great! Surely at this price, it should not be giving me this much trouble so soon!

I thought my 13 Y/O AEG American style fridge freezer was great, but this...this trumps it!! Although the external dimensions are the same, I have much more internal capacity in both the fridge and freezer compartments. The internal layout in both compartments is better. It comes with a water/ice/ice crusher (awesome) dispenser which is neatly incorporated into the left door giving even more space for your frozen food. There is also an internal camera that shows you what is inside without opening the doors! Cooling is achieved through a new high performance and energy efficient AI Inverter Compressor with a 20 year warranty! This with the twin & metal cooling technology keeps the fridge and freezer at a constant temperature. The magic though is in the large touch-screen integrated into the right door. Using Samsung's "Smarter Things" app. the fridge is easy to set up. One of the cool things I like is that you can just talk to the interface through Bixby to open the fridge doors! Great if your hands are full! The doors are also opened by moving your hand across the door sensors. no need to put your greasy fingers on the doors at all! I've set up the weather and shopping list and paired my mobile phone and the TV. I play my Spotify music through it when I'm cooking or listen to live TV audio. There's so much more that it can do and I will look at this in the coming days. I haven't worked out yet how it does my cooking!🤣

Our fridge-freezers have been intelligently designed to maximise the available interior space, so that you can comfortably pack more into it than the exterior would suggest. The addition of the water and ice dispenser does not diminish the capacity any, and adds an extra way for anyone in the household to get instant refreshment. Even though the doors open with no effort, you won't even need to do that to do a stock check thanks to the camera. The Twin Cooling System ensures that a constant temperature is maintained throughout, so that everything stays fresher for longer. It's fantastic to see that you're loving the Family Hub screen and what it offers once connected to the SmartThings app. You'll be able to more effectively manage your weekly shop, or keep entertained while you work away in the kitchen. ^DB at Samsung Support

Got this all singing dancing appliance direct from Samsung , to replace my trusty old Samsung fridge freezer of 20 years RS21JLMR . It was delivered and installed yesterday ( 22 Sept 2025 ) by a partner ( AIT ) but the guys struggled with transport into the house and install . BTW , i had removed the old one to save time and hassle . I was dismayed to discover that the external water-filter has to be sited on a wall , and that is NOT part of the installation process that i had paid for . Levelling the feet , is an absolute struggle and the installers did not bother with this ! Furthermore , i cannot find adequate instructions about the levelling process . I had to advise the installers to remove the doors in order to facilitate the transport through the rooms , and where to turn on the water stop-valve ! The fridge itself is identical to a B rated model except for the Touch Panel screen and a slightly smaller capacity but this is an E rated appliance . It got me wondering why the addition of a touch panel would result in an increase of energy consumption from a claimed 182kWh to approx. 352kWh for the touch panel version Lots of features including the hands-free motorised door opening , the AI features but with technology arises the risk of malfunctions and failure so only time will tell , whether this fridge lasts as long as my previous one that was admired by all especially for its mirrored doors . Another thing that is missed is the enclosed compartments /trays , which prevents your plum tomatoes etc. from falling off the shell and the chilled compartment which was temperature adjusted independently from the rest of the fridge I am a seasoned Samsung appliance fan ,having had laundry products , kitchen appliances , audio-visual entertainment , mobile phones and smart-watches .......

Love the stylish look and the screen. The sensor for the freezer needs to be moved / swooped with the fridge so it’s lower. Every time I lean in to the middle of the fridge I catch the freezer sensor and the door opens. Driving me nuts!

We use it daily to check recipes, leave notes for the family, manage our calendar, and even play music while cooking. The internal camera is great for checking what’s inside when we’re at the store. • Sleek Design: The customizable Bespoke panels give it a modern, premium look that blends beautifully with our kitchen decor. Loads of space, good firdge / freezer. I've added internal storage systems to separate food items - shelves are high so can be stacked, otherwise food kind of gets lost. Family hub, very useful but speakers are terrible if you plan to use for radio etc - which is a shame as would've been brilliant (unless there's a speaker setting I'm missing?), have reverted back to Amazon alexa

There was no handbook for a £2600 appliance! No description how to register! We had a Samsung account for a washing machine with a PlusNet deleted email! Had to request Samsung to delete all accounts before being able to create new S account! No description how to get rid of display screen!No indication how to register 5 yr warranty...etc
