Samsung washing machine child lock - how to turn on & off

Child lock on Samsung washing machines allows you to lock the buttons on your appliance so that your selected cycle can't be changed. When child lock is enabled, all the buttons on the control panel will be locked except for the power button and an icon will appear on the display.

Please note: Even once the washing machine has powered down, the child lock will remain activated until it is turned off.
